I purchased two Tefal non-stick frying pans having seen them used on ‘Good Chef-bad Chef. I had previously spent a small fortune on another well known ‘quality’ brand and was so annoyed when the non-stick coating barely lasted 12 months before it started bubbling and peeling off. I purchased a Tefal griddle pan over a year ago. This pan had a lifetime guarantee on it. After a year of light use, never in the dishwasher and looked after with felt between it and other pans, I went to pick it up off the hotplate one day and the handle just broke! It was not dropped, it was never mishandled.
I contacted Tefal, waited a couple of weeks for a response then they came back with I needed proof of purchase. This thing has a lifetime guarantee, I did not keep the receipts as I had moved house and bought so much!
