It takes up to 10 weeks to obtain spare parts for a 3 month old steam generator.
I bought a new tefal pro ultimate steam generator in March 2020 and in May it stopped working. Tefal would not replace it so I had to take it to one of their recommended repairs. They told me that it would take 8 to 10 weeks at least to receive spare parts. I emailed Tefal and complained but got no response. This is unsatisfactory, I will never buy a Tefal product again.
Excellent value for money
I purchased two Tefal non-stick frying pans having seen them used on ‘Good Chef-bad Chef. I had previously spent a small fortune on another well known ‘quality’ brand and was so annoyed when the non-stick coating barely lasted 12 months before it started bubbling and peeling off. The handle broke clean off
I purchased a Tefal griddle pan over a year ago. This pan had a lifetime guarantee on it. After a year of light use, never in the dishwasher and looked after with felt between it and other pans, I went to pick it up off the hotplate one day and the handle just broke! It was not dropped, it was never mishandled.
I contacted Tefal, waited a couple of weeks for a response then they came back with I needed proof of purchase. This thing has a lifetime guarantee, I did not keep the receipts as I had moved house and bought so much!
