I have a Tefal Actis steam iron. It stops producing steam shortly after using it. Even when it has 3/4 of a tank of water. When it works it is wonderful.
I think there is a self clean on it. Maybe try that. As you say works well. Hope that is some help
Will never touch Tefal again - have had three and each one failed - last one just over 12 months old - sent away to have repaired at the only place in Qld - would have cost more to repair than buy a new one! Very happy with my Phillips Steam Station.
Why does the water light flash....which stops the iron.... while the water level is not far off the max line??
unsure as iron should not stop. Contact the shop you got it from as maybe faulty.
How do I clean to stop the anti calc light from flashing?
My iron wont steam. Any help?
Have you checked that there is no calc. build up. My only real suggestion. My daughter had one that stopped steaming after about 18 months. We had it checked by an electrician. It was definately faulty. After months of emails backwards and forward with Tefal, they eventually replaced the iron. No happy about it though.
Looks like mine has stopped steaming as well. Not very old and not mistreated. Very disappointed as I have an older model Tefal that I have to let cool down once the tank is empty. The attraction for this one was it could be refilled “on the go”. Worked well for a few months only. Can’t imagine I will buy another.
