With a large family it is hard to keep up with all the washing and drying! Our Teka heat pump dryer is amazing and we are very happy with it! It is cheap to run and does an amazing job at drying when our washing line is just full and of course during the wet weather! Our machine runs several times a week and does not skip a beat!
Great for the Family and Wallet
I use my TEKA heat pump dryer multiple times a day. It has a great energy rating and performs amazingly. It has various settings for me to choose from and a great display showing me how long there is to go on the cycle. I would highly recommend.
Purchased in December 2017.
Easy to use. I haven't had any problems with any types of clothing. Surprised at how good the quality is for the price. I would definitely this brand again A
Was a bit worried as we were looking at the bosch series 8, but could not justify the extra cost and this one does the job just fine. Have used it a few times now and its perfect. Will see how it stands up over a few years. But this is one of the few with a 3+2 year warranty.
Still going strong
We got the Midea branded version of this. We've had it for 3 years now and haven't had any problems.
The condenser works well. It does not create any humidity.
Just have to remember to clear the secondary lint filter in the bottom hatch every once in a while.
And put the dryer onto high intensity setting so it dries completely.
Been a really solid purchase. No regrets.
Purchased in February 2017 for A$1,100.00.
Happy we spent a little extra on a heat-pump machine.
We have had it for ~3 years now I guess. It has been really good to us. Fantastic in an apartment, Does not create its own weather like the normal tumble driers. Would buy it again.
Bought this dryer for my wife. Used this most of the time specially during winter/rainy season. It is very cost effective. We didn’t see significant increase in our electricity bill.
Purchased in August 2018.
Best appliance I have ever purchased
This heat pump clothes dryer is fantastic. This machine is at the lower price point for heat pump driers so I was a bit skeptical. Our laundry is tiny and does not have a window. This condenser dryer is brilliant leaves our unit completely dry, not hot air or steam at all. Dries huge loads in record time. I could put a tiny load in for 60 mins and it will automatically stop in 35mins because its senses that the clothes are dry. I can put a huge load on for 60 mins and it will add 15mins after it senses that the load is still damp. Excellent!
Replaced my Miele
I was originally keen to purchase a Fisher&Paykel based on the reviews on this website, but it wouldnt fit in my euro laundry. I settled on a Miele which the David Jones salesperson convinced me was a better choice, but ended up returning it after it constantly kept stopping, beeping and not drying properly. I've had my Teka for about a month and am SO pleased with it. I wouldnt have known about it if it wasn't for productreview.com.au, and although I was initially hesitant based on the limited reviews they all had really positive comments. The...dryer is incredibly energy efficient, super quiet, easy to use and I've had no issues with residue dampness at the end of a cycle. It's fairly easy to empty the water and lint trays. The price makes it even better - it was about 30% cheaper than the Miele (when DJ's had a sale).

We bought this dryer to replace the Electrolux vented dryer that developed a fault. We’d hardly used it as it was expensive to use. The Teka is amazing. It uses about a quarter of the power of the one it replaces. I just love it. You do have to clean 2 lint filters and empty a water tank each load, but it’s worth it. Just hope it’s more reliable than the Electrolux.
Best dryer I have ever owner - Money saver
I did a lot of research into Heat Pump Dryers before making my purchase. This model was at the lower end of the price point, and I was dubious about purchasing it due to how cheap it is and I was not familiar with the brand. I have owned the dryer for four months and I wouldn't be without it, I will never go back to a vented dryer.
It did take a couple of weeks to get used to selecting the optimum programmes for different wash loads, but once that was sorted, the dryer consistently dries clothes thoroughly, is quiet and has no condensation...and leaves the clothes static free. I live in an apartment, where a clothes dryer is a necessity and found that I saved over $100.00 on my last electricity bill which i can only put down to the efficiency of this machine.
After 5 months of using TEKA THPD70
Before making that decision to buy this machine
countless search for reviews and price comparison if it is worth the risk.
1. I bought it from Appliance Online during their sale last July 2017 with 3 years warranty in total and free
delivery. Getting a 3 years extended warranty for a peace of mind- overall 5 years warranty.
2. Functionality- Most of the time we use MIX with highest intensity and anti- crease (1 hour and 52 mins)
tips - 1 more spin in your washing machine before you put in the dryer (18 mins full spin)
- Off peak hours electricity use also helps reduce the bills. ...

Time will tell
I just purchased this heat pump dryer, after my previous dryer was giving up the ghost. I did a bit of research on the types of dryers available, and after some informative reading I thought to settle on this technology. Time will tell if the information pertaining to savings using the heat pump technology is accurate. You can't fault a six star energy rating, and a claimed kWh rating a third of that of my old dryer. When originally surveying the purchasing landscape I was quite taken aback with the prices being asked for this technology. I fin...ally settled upon this manufacturer; which is of German origin; back in the earlier part of the twentieth century. The price was excellent compared to other manufactures of this technology; and with a two year warranty; the unit was the choice to purchase for me. I have noticed at the time of writing this review, that you can purchase this unit a lot cheaper than what I did: Smi|es always the way. I have being just sussing out the different drying cycles, and have found that the extra cycle, with the second intensity choice selected works fine for me. It makes different noises to what a vented dryer makes; as it goes through its cycle which I noticed. I do like the interior drum light; that lets you peek at the clothing tumbling about. There are two lint filters that are cleaned after each completed cycle, and the water condensation tray must be emptied as well. Apparently the condenser coil must be cleaned every two months or so; depending on usage. It's easily accessible, and can be cleaned with a old toothbrush; as a suggestion I gleaned of a YouTube video on the subject. I have to say that I was amazed at how much water is collected, and it's nice not having to vent this anymore; inclusive of the hot air. The lint filters work superbly well, with no lint what so ever evident on clothing once removed: with the Anti-crease function working wonderfully. For the price, I certainly can't fault this appliance at the moment. Time, and usage will tell if the cost was warranted. Cheers for reading, and a peaceful road to you: Peter.
i love it
i bought my heat pump dryer from masters as well,,a good price as masters are closing down,i don't really have any complaints as yet,i worked out my own drying cycle,so clothes are dried all the time,i didn't want a dryer because of power usage but the heat pump is a lot less power eater,i use it a bit and didn't notice any difference with my power bill,i d recommend them
