They've got good rates and the customer service is great
Great rates. Been using Teleron for couple of years without issues, however lately there have been some connection issues and variable speeds for couple of weeks. Customer service was awesome and got the issue resolved pretty fast. Couldn't be happier, but despite excellent customer service future reliability worries me.
18 Months of uninterrupted service (Teleron now closed down no longer trading)
Have have been with Teleron for more than 18 months. During that time that time i have had no complaints about my connection. People often blame the service provider for connection speed but most of the time it is due other influences like old copper lines or hardware issues. You don't get 24/7 Support like the bigger providers but the price is more competitive. I have no plans to change to another provider i am happy where i am..
Customer service was good, speeds patchy.
On NBN HFC. Issues with the line quality when NBN HFC was switched on in our area. Teleron were helpful and friendly in sorting these out with the NBN techs. Speeds were generally acceptable early on, but noticed in the last 4-6 months peak time wasn't great. Sometimes, it'll be so slow that I'd need to switch to mobile data to get things done. I contacted Teleron about this several times and they were helpful and attentive, but ultimately, the speeds fluctuated too often and annoyed me enough. Some weeks better than others. So it was difficult to pin down. Pricing of Teleron was sharp and I think their customer service is commendable. I'm leaving because of the fluctuating speeds that could very well be NBN's network.
They have a very good and responsive customer service. Always there to help you via online chat which is good.
I am on lowest speed (10/1) which is more than enough for 2 people in a small apartment in CBD.
We were with dodo before with 25/5 speed unlimited.
So far it's been 3 months with them and never experience any significant issues. Although some lag when watching online content (youtube, etc.) during peaktime, overall it is acceptable ISP.
Reasonable price on data cap.
service ok but;;;
been with this provider for a couple of months now overall happy with my service im FTTN 50/20 and usually get 47/17 mind you im only 20 meters from the node, but have noticed most nights betwwen about 6.00 and 9.00 pm the speed drops to about 4/12 yes the upload is higher than the download other than this great freindly service and always helpful
Great service and tech support !!! except for 1-2 equipment fault outages in 6 months they would hav
Easy setup and reliable. Great late night tech service from guys who know their stuff and are patient to keep it simple for non-techys. A recent problem was quickly discovered by Craig to be a general exchange outage with a fault report submitted. It's been a day and awaiting a fix. Dave and Craig there offer great tech service.... !!!
Great Provider, A Pain to Set Up.
Just started a plan with Teleron last month, their customer support was excellent (got straight through to the same person on two occasions). I wanted to keep my previous router, but finding a modem that complied with teleron requirements was an absolute pain. Found someone who knew what they were after at the third shop I asked, even then they weren't 100% sure. Once setup though, has been running fast with no major issues or dropouts.
Good after moving backhaul supplier
Signed up with Teleron back in March 2017 on the 25mb/s silver package and initially the speeds were only slightly better than ADSL2+ as I would get an average high speed of 12-16 mb/s. Since Teleron has moved to a new backhaul supplier I am getting consistent max speed of 18-22. Customer service is ok if you are handy at live chat otherwise you'll find it annoying. They will have people call you if you get real desperate and can't fix the issue over chat so that is always reassuring.
Had issues, but all sorted now.
I'm based in Kellyville and on FTTN. When I first got connected I had alot of issues with backhaul meaning that speeds were slow at peak times.
Ron who is one of the managers said that they had several people complain. They have now upgraded the backhaul as of late April (not just my area - everywhere apparently) and its brilliant.
It was a bit annoying, but the service I had from Ron throughout all of this was brilliant - no way would I have got this sort of service from Telstra or Optus.
They do have various people answering most queries on chat, but if you have an issue, just ask to talk directly to Ron.
Very Good Customer Service
NBN gave problems in not coming to first install appointment.
Slow speed to start but Teleron fixed the problem.
Hope good service continues.
Questions & Answers
I have recently discovered the unreliability of the FTTN NBN. I have 5 days with no internet. Shoddy NBN techs. So I am curious if you offer a 4G backup like Telstra?
