Great cheap back up

published

Paid $44. Using it as a back up. It works well for a wofo hotspot. It works well as a security camera. Was going to buy a 4g modem but opted for a spare phone instead.

Purchased in April 2020 at Coles for A$44.00.

What are you setting up? PIN is not required for any setup I can think of. Unless you are meaning the setup Wizard and then if you are going to setup a PIN then it is what you choose yourself. Some more detail will help solve this.

Hi, Sorry but the issue is not clear. If you are using the phone on the Telstra network then you don't need to unlock it. Unlocking it doesn't add frequencies to the handset so it will not be a great or even working experience if you try it on Optus or Vodafone networks, but on Telstra or an MVNO that uses the Telstra network like Belong, Aldi etc it would be fine. But if you are using a Telstra SIM card you don't need to unlock the phone.

That's exactly right. It's a Telstra phone trying to be activated on the Telstra network. You still have to pay $80 to unlock. I want to know why!

Bought this for my disabled sister and am wondering if there is a way to keep the bottom buttons (back, home etc.) displayed without disappearing/hiding. She has trouble flicking up to find it again.
