Not sure on the originality of the tyres but they broke the front axle on my car when using a rattle gun to tighten the lug nuts while the car was in the air. I watched them just put the gun and let it rattle for 20 seconds. The lug nites were so tight that a torque wrench of mine broke when trying to remove..

I got a set of tyres at Tempe Tyres the other day, and was very happy overall. The price was very good. After dropping off the car I walked over to IKEA to buy a few things (blueberry jam is recommended) and when I came back I had to wait another 15min or so. So it took 1h total. Not bad at all, a very efficient operation. They specialise in tyres and alloy wheels, and they are not trying to up-sell you new break-pads or whatever, like some other places do.
If you live in the Eastern Suburbs and are sick of car service places trying to rip you off, then this is place to go.

Good price, slow service, gave me the wrong invoice meaning I need to go back and waste more time. Not worth the two hours for small saving. Would shop around next time.

Bought tyres via their eBay site. Prices were much lower than I could have got elsewhere. Despite being very busy, the car was ready in under 2 hours. I hadn't even finished my browsing at nearby Ikea, when I got a text saying the car was ready. (4 tyres fitted balanced and a wheel alignment). Even with the drive from Newcastle, I was way in front. My experience with Tempe Tyres has been all positive. I highly recommend them.

If you are considering buying a set of the Simmons wheels that Tempe tyres own and sell don’t be fooled by thinking you are paying good money for the famous simmons 3 peice racing wheel of the 1990s. The original versions were famous for there quality and built for the track.

Good cheap tyres, but terrible service. Paid for wheel alignment that I don't think was even checked. My car still pulls to one side and when I tried to go back & get it replaced, I was told that the warranty was only for 2 days. Not going back to get ripped off again.

Terrible experience!!! I came here to change my front tires。They damage my left front wheel while fitting and doing the wheel alignment. And they put some silicon trying to cover the damages. I notice it when I pick up the car. Moreover, I notice the inner edge of the rim and the inner wall (where they put weight mass to balance the wheel) are also damaged by the rude worker. The staff and manager here using their "beautiful words" to deny their fault. Put too much tire oil that's stupid. I will never choose Tempe Tyres again!!! Please choose carefully and avoid have a similar experience as me.

You always receive good advice and the cheapest price from the staff, Yose in particular who I have had the pleasure of dealing with over the years manages to find a solution for every budget

I went to Tempe Tyres today (03.04.18) to obtain a spare tyre for my 2017 Mustang.
I ended up talking to Peter who was very good and informative. I arrived around 11.00 and was gone by 12.30pm with a new tyre and rim.
I have no complaints about the staff or service.
I was horrified when I arrived however. I have never seen a place so busy, but the customers were in and out pretty quick so it was good.
Great cup of tea and toasted sandwich while I waited too.

At the beginning I went their and I was upset from my tires but The staff their specially Yose made a good service and a good deal.

Yose was fantastic and friendly! He was very informative with the choice of tyres providing a range and explaining in detail about tread, noise, width etc. As it was extremely busy yesterday, we liked the fact he provided that extra detail to either go for a stroll in IKEA or pop back home and to pick up our car once he would call when it's convenient and to ensure it's before 5.30pm. It's the smaller details that matter. Happy with the tyres we chose. We have bought tyres from Tempe Tyres a few times now.
