Rubbish ad on TV
Rubbish ad on TV they keep playing a guy in a stupid looking pose at the door! I will never buy from Temple & Webster. Fire the people that gave approval for this advertisement!
Multiple purchases and each one had problems
I bought a ceramic plate set and upon first use, the glaze and paint immediately came off into my food. I bought two bedside tables and thought I'd put them together wrong because they were wonky and then realised the sides are actually slightly different lengths, so the drawer doesn't close. I bought a dining set that included a table and four chairs with white cushions, and two of the cushions came with big dirty handprints all over them that won't come off. This dining set also went missing for a couple of weeks before being delivered. The s...tatus said delivered but no one could work out where it was. So incredibly disappointing and frustrating - the products on the site look beautiful but there's a problem every single time and getting a response from customer service takes weeks, so the boxes take up space in the apartment while waiting for a resolution. This is just not good enough.
2 months and my couch still hasn’t arrived
I ordered a couch over 2 months ago and it still hasn’t arrived! I’ve been back and forth with customer service for months now and get conflicting stories everytime. It seems I am not the only one that has had trouble with their delivery partner reading recent reviews. The story seems to have changed several times as to why my couch isn’t here including that they forgot to pick it up. Then it was picked up they organised delivery a few times and canceled without any communication other than a text to say it was delayed and no new timeframe. I w...ent back to temple and Webster and they said actually no it will be delayed further because one of the items wasn’t collected then they confirmed it was collected then it wasn’t collected again. I haven’t had a straight answer this whole time. It took ages to get them to even agree to refund the delivery charges. I still haven’t got my couch or a straight answer as to when it’ll actually be delivered. I’m struggling to understand why temple and Webster partner with this delivery partner if this is the service they provide! I would also like to add I wrote a review for the couch on their website and it appears they are monitoring this as they never approved it and won’t put it on their website.
Awful experience.. never again
The most disgusting shopping experience ever. Delivery service is very bad. Costumer service is totally awful. Not helpful at all we spend weeks on the phone and emails.
We pay so much money for our new sofa and delivery service then we been waiting for almost months and half for our sofa to arrive. But they deliver as only half of it and no one know where is other half of our delivery.. Will not recommend anyone to buy from Temple and Webster

Don't trust delivery promises
I asked to cancel my order when advised 1 month delivery, the request was made 3 days after the order date.
We had made sure we ordered product showing as "in stock" but 8 days after order placement the freight company report they have not received the stock.
T &W report it leaving 2 days after the order date.
The company says orders cant be cancelled. Consumer affairs will be the judge of that though.

Non Delivery - my problem - I thought I was a customer of Temple & Webster not their courier
Seems to be nice enough staff when asking queries but their courier provider is useless. I know we're all blaming COVID but to have a non-delivery, no notification (knock) at door just a text saying reschedule, then find a calling card saying it will be dropped off at a POPSHOP for collection see website for update - nothing updated 5 days later. Tried numerous times calling the courier company with no luck. Thought I'd go to where I purchased and paid and was advised to call the courier company.
Online shopping not for me until they work out a better delivery/tracking and update system for information.
Again I didn't select the courier, Temple & Webster did which is where the purchase was from. Will be putting in for Non-Supply
Sent elsewhere, info filled correct in order. My problem now.
Care factor was disappointing.
Waiting for an item that had been sent to the wrong address despite filling the address right in the order.
They took very little ownership to rectify the issue.
I'll make sure I get my money back (paid by PayPal so that'll happen), but would prefer somewhere better for future purchases.
Waste of time. Garbage company.
Purchased a chair. Received email for shipping confirmation. No communication for 10 days. Then received a sms notifying me that the chair was damaged but couldn't even bother to finish the message and did not provide contact details to organise a change. Contacted them both via email and their stupid website chat. Heard nothing for a further 5 days. Called today, waited on hold for 15 minutes only for them to tell me that the chair I ordered is no longer available and will be offering a full refund. So now, I've wasted 15 day waiting, only to get my money back and a pitiful $25 discount which I declined quite aggressively. I've [Words Removed] more reliable than this terrible company. Do NOT recommend.
Such poor quality
Very dissatisfied with the rug we purchased. We checked reviews and it was rated really well but compared to our other 3 rugs the quality just wasn’t there. The edges curl and there’s creases and doesn’t have the nice weight and cushioning our other rugs do. This rug won’t be lasting and the price to return and ship it will be expensive

Delayed delivery, cancellation and the longest return process when it accidentally got delivered...
We ordered a Table from Temple and Webster which took over a month to arrive, with the options being to wait or for it to be cancelled.
Noting we needed a table, we cancelled and bought a table from a different company. A few days later the table arrived (even though we cancelled), and it's taking weeks for them to actually arrange the pickup. Was originally agreed to be collected in 2 weeks, then we got an email not even acknowledging that date and pushing it back two weeks, followed by another email pushing it back another two weeks...
...Now we have this large table box taking up space in our 1 bedroom apartment, and still pending an actual collection date. Wouldn't recommend anyone to buy anything from them, especially during this time, as they can't keep to their commitments and continually push dates back.
terrible service, terrible delivery - misleading
I recently ordered chairs for my new office space. Delivery times quoted prior to ordered were 2-7 business days. This was a major factor for choosing these chairs - they would arrive in time for the new space. AFTER ordering and paying, i was advised of significant delays. My items are still unaccouted for and noone will tell me where they are. they have been through 4 depots. I do not recommend.
Absolutely horrendous customer service - avoid avoid avoid
Update: leaving my original review for transparency, as Darren (T&W employee who replies to these reviews) has solved the situation for me - 3 days after posting the below review my chair was finally delivered.
However - I cannot in good conscience recommend T&W at the moment as they did not provide satisfactory customer service even though they had many opportunities to do so - Darren is fantastic, but the other people I dealt with in the customer care team were not (John and Kimberley, who did absolutely nothing and sat on this until I went...public - atrocious). *** Original Review *** I have bought a few things off Temple & Webster, some have arrived as predicted, however most recently I bought a single seat sofa, which iCumulus was contracted to deliver. I live in an apartment building, and the driver decided not to ring the doorbell, stating the item "could not be delivered". After many calls to iCumulus, all ringing out, and an email to their support team that is still unanswered 3 weeks later, I contacted T&W themselves to contact iCumulus as presumably iCumulus picks up the phone for T&W.
Worse service ever
Don't get tempted by their price, you might need to spend lots of time and energy to get your order.
