Wide range of products but poor delivery
This company has various range of home deco. Price is reasonable. It would be better if they offer combine postage. I have ordered 9 Lights on 15th Sep. 5 items were delivered on 27 September. (not too bad due to Covid situation) But 4 were missed. T/W did not know until I reported through live chat. Expected delivery is 18 Oct .Almost 1 month to get item.
Avoid purchasing if you want to get your item quick.
About two years ago I purchased a rug from Temple and Webster. Their photographic shoots of styled rooms really helped pick the correct rug and I am still really pleased with this rug. Recently I purchased another rug, a little out of my comfort zone but again one of the images sold me. When it arrived, it was brighter and far more synthetic looking than advertised. I listed this as my reasons for returning the item and I was told that I might need a new monitor. I am a photographer, I do not need a new monitor and as a photographer I have exte...nsive understanding of lighting and post production soft such as Lightroom. The attitude of the return team was quite passive aggressive and their return approach was plain rude. They ignored questions about earlier return dates and took up to a week to partially respond to my emails. I will never use them again. Not worth the freight risk.
Beware of shipping delays
I have ordered before through Temple and Webster and received my item quickly, however it was through Australia Post.
This time, I ordered a bed on 14 September 2021. It had no ETA on the item page, but said it dispatches within a few business days. That was great, as our current bed is broken. Well, whilst it was ‘dispatched’ within a couple of days, it is apparently coming with iCumulus which has so many appalling reviews, it’s a wonder why Temple and Webster would even use them.
The ETA according to iCumulus was 13 October 2021 - nearly ...a month! As I said, it was not advised anywhere on the item’s page that it would take this long to arrive, which I find really misleading. I emailed Temple and Webster on 20 September 2021 asking if that ETA was accurate and if so, asking to cancel my order as I was not willing to wait. Temple and Webster didn’t respond to me for 9 days, and their response was dismal. They said they understand I have concerns about the delivery timeframe but they ‘always strive to make sure that orders are processed the fastest way we can.’ How does that answer my concerns at all? They also said they can’t cancel my order but they will keep me up to date via the tracking. Well according to the tracking, after 3 weeks and counting my order is still sitting in Melbourne with no updates since 23 September 2021, when it was updated to say it’s on the ‘linehaul’ whatever that means.
Hit and miss!
Service is great but only when it operates correctly. Have a damaged item and want a replacement? No problem, but you need to follow it up with the customer team. If there are any issues with your order, there is no follow up from the company and the customer is left fumbling through chat or spending their valuable time on hold.
I had a change of mind return for a rug, entitled to a full refund. The rug got lost in transit on return, I have had to chase it up at every step. 6 weeks later and no refund, no communication from "Marvin" handling t...he case. All the other customer service people can do is leave a note for "Marvin" to contact me. Done that several times and complete radio silence. Would be great if "Marvin" could get back in contact with me, or if he simply doesn't care for doing his job, if someone else was able to take over the issue so it can be resolved. Promised timelines are NOT kept.
Great range of products and shopping experience, WORST delivery experience
what a way to ruin a great experience shopping, finding a great range of products just to be let down by the delivery, the inconsistency is just god awful, i made two purchase with three items each, all items assigned to AlliedExpress were home 2-3 days, the other ones anything between 2 weeks to a month, only buy here if you can afford to wait in case you get one of the bad delivery partners, call centre are good to reply but solve nothing, i did reach them just to finish on "ah yeah nothing we can do at the moment we will email you with a......." never happened
Perfect delivery and communication; Crap product
Great photos and details on website, happy with communication and delivery times.
Product quality is acceptable; but not as good as something from IKEA.
I'll give the product "NordicHouse White & Natural Arden 3 Drawer Shoe Cabinet" a big FAT ZERO for functionality & usability. The only shoes that will fit into this piece of furniture in order to make it functional are flat ballet shoes. Not even average sized flip-flops will make this piece of furniture work. Forget buying it for your Nikes, Sports shoes, black work shoes. What a shame.
Straight to the bin it goes.
Tools required, Angle grinder...
I bought a dining table and all the steel work wasn't straight. Seats would wabble on the floor. Was very poor. I had to counter it by adjusting all the legs. (Very difficult)
Don't buy if you need it by a certain date
I've purchased from Temple & Webster twice, and I probably won't again. Both times were for presents and both times there won't be a present to open on the day. The website on both occasions stated a completely different shipping date than what was originally promised. This current product I'm waiting on was expected to ship out 2 days after purchasing, but I'm now being quoted a shipping date almost 4 weeks after purchase. I get that it's COVID but I've been receiving furniture from other stores with no delays, and my first negative temple and webster experience didn't have COVID as a factor. The products are good when they arrive, but PLEASE do not quote a shipping time and have it so far away from reality.
Don't preorder anything.
TLDR: preordered a table with EST 3 weeks, it came back in stock online and was sold to others without mine being sent out, no contact from T&W, now have to wait another 2 months. Apparently preorders are not given priority for the shipping warehouse.
I have ordered from Temple and Webster a few times - usually there are no issues and I really have had good experiences with them.
However, I preordered a beside table (order #2136527015 for any T&W people who might be reading this) from them on the 12th July with an estimated warehouse dispat...ch of 30th July. It looks great in the pictures and the reviews on it are quite good.... If you ever get the product. On the 11th of August I still hadn't heard anything, so had a look online and wowie this table was now back in stock and ready to order with a dispatch time of 2 business days. I thought this was a bit weird, and assumed that they'd just forgotten mine. Me being worried that they'd sell out and it was an error on their part to forget my order, got in touch right away. I immediately contacted CS through the chat on their website, and was given a case #, and told that a case manager would be in touch with me within 1-2 business days or sooner. This didn't happen, so on the 13th (today), I started another chat explaining all the above.
First time customer.
Ordered and paid in full for three items. All lodged with Australia Post or courier.
Item one delivered.
Item two not delivered, remained on Aus Post tracking app for a week. After querying delivery told the item was not in stock. Refunded.
Item three - one of two boxes delivered via courier. After querying and waiting five days - second of two boxes now ‘our of stock’. Refunded.
Cons - items being marked as sent when they are ‘out of stock’.
Quality of items does not reflect the price.
Pros - responsive customer service and refunds processed quickly.
Would I use again? Probably not.
Assembly instructions are highly inadequate
I have purchased 3 items of furniture from T @ W. And am having great difficulty with assembly. The instructions are basically a small drawing with arrows and ABCD assigned to them It is impossible to tell what goes where first and next for a coffee table l. The armchair I rang the company which was in Sydney and they sent me a video. The desk only needs leg but The coffee table hat a Lowe shelf of rungs and several holes and connectors with no instructions what goes where. No company name. Are better assembly instructions available. I have no trouble putting together anything from IKEA.
Bed Base voids mattress warranty
Found after purchase that the bed base I purchased would void my current mattress warranty (and every other mattress I've seen) and cause sagging. Most mattress need no more than 8cm between slats and this has 15cm. When contacting them, they wouldn't do anything about it claiming they're product is quality tested. Best check with your mattress manufacturer first. I've put in a complaint with ACCC as it doesn't seem like acceptable quality if it damages most mattresses. Shame cause it otherwise seemed like a good base and decent shipping time
Long shipping delay— more than 1 month late
I’ve purchased an office chair from the T&W website. The site says there are 10+ in warehouse and that the item would leave the warehouse in 3 business days. As of today, I found out the item will not leave the warehouse until 8 June (if that’s even true). And there is no channel for me to use to communicate with T&W. I would not have made this purchase had I known there would be more than a month-long wait. I could have received the chair quicker from another site. This has become a terrible trend recently for the orders I’ve placed. After this order, I will unfortunately have to start shopping elsewhere.
Sooo slow, still waiting for my order to be dispatched
I made an order for 6 dining chairs 4 days ago and the estimated delivery date was supposed to be tomorrow.
When I contacted T&W to find out what was happening with my order I was told that I would receive an email by close of business today with delivery details but I still haven't received it, despite asking T&W to chase it up with the suppliers.
I've just rechecked the page for these Beige Windsor Scoop Back Dining Chairs (Set of 2) and it says "10+ in Stock in Australia Leaves warehouse in 3 business days".
To add insult to injury the shipping was $171 and I expected better service. Lesson learned, next time I'll cut out the middle-man and go direct to the retailer.
Exceptionally Poor Service And Attitude - Rip Off Merchants
Ordered a bed through T&W. It stated in stock when I purchased it and was told I would get it in a week. 3 weeks later no bed, no communication from T&W. I had to chase them up 3 times to find out where my bed was. They advised that it was out of stock and would be delivered in another 3 weeks. 4 weeks later no bed. I had to contact them again only to find out they couldn't advise when my bed would come. Decided to switch to a cheaper bed, not happy about it, but I needed a bed, and because they had already charged me for delivery of som...ething I hadn't yet received, didn't want to cancel it because I knew I would not get the delivery cost of approximately $75 refunded. The bed I purchased was $50 cheaper. But no refund was made to me. I had to contact them several times before I even got a response, a response that was joke actually, the worst service ever. They agreed that when I purchased the bed it was $50 more expensive, but now the bed is on sale, so they wouldn't refund me the difference. I will never purchase through them again. Be careful when purchasing through this company. Such a shame because their products are good quality, but service is terrible. :(

My order got shipped 11 days ago but when I try to track it, it says 'no jobs found'. Is there any other way I can track my order?
