No responsibility, no refunds.
Recently bought about $300 worth of goods from the Wodonga Tender Centre. We were quite satisfied with the good condition of the three major items purchased and the service was good. They helped us load a very heavy item into the ute and loaned us a dolly to help move it when we arrived home. Next day we returned the dolly and they seemed to be quite surprised as they said most people never bother to return them. We then spent another $25 on some small items including 4 DVDs. When we arrived home my son tried playing the DVDs but onl...y one out of the 4 worked. I phoned them this morning but was told that there were no returns or refunds on any items whatsoever as buyers purchased everything at their own risk, the only exception was a 24 hour warranty on things like washing machines which they could not test in store. I then asked if they had the facility to test DVDs in store and after some hesitation was told..."Ummm, I'm not sure, but we still don't give refunds". So be warned - If it is something that cannot be demonstrated in store to work as it is supposed to, then don't buy it. The Tender Centre and the seller will both get their dollars, but you will lose yours.
Our item was stolen, do not trust them with your valuables
Our ipod was stolen from a locked cabinet, they did not even bother to inform us. We only found out when we queried why the lot number had disappeared from the vender account. They kept fobbing us off asking us to phone the next day whilst they looked into it. Finally admitted they no longer had it. They were sorry. We have no ipod and no reimbursement.
