BEWARE everythig is bloody EXPENSIVE
I'm not talking about few dollars here, some of them with same brand are almost double the price.
Today I went to Terry White Chemmart at Plumpton to get a prescription, I had on a mask and I signed in as required by law. I was asked by a staff member did I have a fever...cough...sore throat or was waiting on a covid test result, I said I don't answer questions as it's not law to do so...please let me in.
I was then refused entry to the store, I asked to see the manager who said the same thing. When I said it's your policy but not law she then called security on me. Security couldn't do anything because I'd done nothing wrong, this is h...ow Terry White treats customers. They have a sign that says...customer alert, if you are experiencing any of the below symptoms...Do Not Enter...fever...cough.. sore throat etc. but it doesn't say if you refuse to answer our questions, you will be refused entry to our store...what a bloody joke. I don't have covid or any symptoms but why do I have to tell them as it's none of their business, that's why we sign in electronically. People with covid wouldn't tell them anyway as the staff are not doctors either.
Medicine normal cost me around $15 from chemist warehouse but Terry white charged just double $30 as with sick kid no other option but to buy from there, dunno why terry white overcharge when selling same medicine
Discrimination and poor customer treatment
I have had health issues for over 1yr which have dictated that I take pain medication until all exploration of treatment was exhausted. Due to using pain medication and being a practitioner in the addiction field for many years I used the same pharmacy at Minyama Terry white for my whole treatment to keep things transparent. For 10 months I handed in the same script weekly until the 11/08/2021 where I went to hand it in only to find a new pharmacist who I felt treated me disrespectfully telling me I was 9 days too early and walked away without ...further conversation leaving the sales clerk looking embarrassed and uncertain as I had dealt with them for such a long period. My question is as a longtime drug and alcohol practitioner where is the empathy and accountability to genuine patients seeking pharmacological treatment. I understood her duty of care and stand but where was the respect and non-judgement around genuine cases? She walked away without. even discussing anything with me! I phoned my doctor immediately and he acknowledged his error in script writing and re-entered this facility later that day and when I tried to give rightful feedback she stated that she was only responding to majority and I HAD to understand her point! She went on to accuse me of being argumentative when I was just giving honest feedback about improvement of her approach to clients!. Hope this pharmacy does not have a license to distribute government approved dosing of methadone because attitude is un-acceptable because the discrimination was quite apparent!

I am an Asian and when I entered the terry white chemist in findion,the people on the front counter doesn’t want to serve me and I stead served the white people who came after me.This is the second time it happened.
Incorrect script given out
Picked up a script today, when I got home and checked the item the receipt was in my name but the tablets were for someone else with the same surname very disappointed and will use a different chemist in the future
Bought a Cpap machine that was 1890 AUD, the machine was returned 3 times due to noise. The buggest problem was the staff there in Sleep department, very rude and see not to care for people. Stay away from them.
So disappointed my local pharmacy is now a Terry White - gone downhill

Rude staff, incorrect medical advice
Staff at Marion store provided incorrect information in regard to my medications which would have made me VERY sick had I followed it. I have been taking these medications for many years under the strict supervision of many highly qualified medical professionals so I would rather listen to them. They were generally rude and passive aggressive during conversation and made snide remarks about (not to) me while I was standing in front of them. They were very condescending and made me feel like I should be ashamed of the medication I was purchasing..., which in my opinion is very unprofessional. I won't be shopping there again as I now have a lot of doubt in regard to their medical expertise/knowledge and am dissatisfied with their poor customer service.
The service at your store at Margate is appalling. And this is fact. The service on Saturday and this morning was terrible Saturday waiting 20 minutes and today 25 minutes so went to and other chemist ,but the service at Kippering is good
Won't purchase script from them again daylight robbery
Got script filled at Terry White and cost more than double the price I paid at Chemist Warehouse for exactly same med/brand two weeks ago. Went to Terry White as was within walking distance and couldn't drive while taking the medication. Paid $33.40 vs $15.99. I get that price may differ but over double is a rort.

Emma at currimundi store Sunshine Coast has discussing manners and appalling behaviour. I strongly recommend not use ing this branch of terry white, I tried to buy haemorrhoid cream and she publicly humiliated me, EMMA!!!
Management need to look into the store it gives Terry White chemist a bad name having staff like Emma.
I was charged nearly 4 times the cost of what I usually pay for a generic brand. So disappointed. Service was also very poor.

Only the staff can do that for you in their database, after all they are the issuer of the card and they are the ones that keep your card details in the system for when you make your purchases, sounds like your Terry white is just as bad as mine, I am still waiting 3 months later for my bonus 400 points which I they seem to not want to give me.

hi just wondering who do I report a chemist in local area about having to wait for medication and learly closing times when people need medicines I had to travel to another town 3 hours away to get it very poor customer service ladies standing around not wanting to serve people pharmist was so rude please this chemist needs help
If the chemist is not respecting your medical needs you may be able to complain to the Pharmacy Board of Australia (in writing), but if the chemist and his assistants are just rude and it is poor customer service then you should firstly complain directly to the chemist, and if you do not get satisfaction then you could go to the WA Department for WA Consumer Protection or as a last resort the ACCC.
thank u for your reply, I will look into this matter further,. still carnt understand why the chemist closes so early on weekends when people are wanting medications. I and a few other people have had to travel 3 hours to the next town which is open from 9am to 8pm 7 days. the staff are so friendly, and the store has so much better and cheaper stock. carnt understand how the same terry white chemist can be so different in prices,next time I will travel to that town for better service thank u,
