Best shoes and service ever: Gel Kayano 28 Asics
I went to the Elizabeth store on 22/04/22 to find some shoes that wouldn't cause two of my toenails to discolour. I was served by Aiden T who had to detach himself from his female sales companion who seemed more intent on talking to him than letting him deal with a customer (me). Aiden was very professional and assessed my feet using their technology and explained the results to me. He made some suggestions to me and I tried on two different brands. The Asics were the best fit for me so I purchased them for $269.99. I have exercised in them twice daily since purchasing them and have never been happier with a shoe purchasing experience or the product I purchased.

Best service ever!!!!
The best service ever from Chase, busy time of the day, Chase was on his own helping customers in the best way anybody could do, no stress and polite, professional young man.
After a shocking service at Rebel sport this experience was the best. If any body needs shoes go to Athlete foot foot Carrousel ask for Chase.

on line customer service
I purchased 3 pairs of sandals on line. They arrived very quickly. Only one pair suited me. This pair unfortunately arrived with a very noticeable dark discolouration on one strap. I returned them to a retail store who gladly returned the two unwanted pairs but were unable to help with a partial refund on the faulty pair. I could return them as no replacement stock was available. As I was happy with the pair of sandals but not happy to pay full price I embarked on an attempt to communicate with customer service. After being on the phone for 16 ...
Read moreminutes on two separate days an automated message advised me to use email or live chat. Tried these lines of communication but kept receiving a generic reply by email re returns and never addressing my question. My conclusion is there are no customer service people at all but a computer responsding to trigger words in the emails. The telephone number they provide is a sham. Customer service is only a token service. From now on I will shop in store only. Very dissapointing!!!!!!!Worst shoes ever bought
Went to athletes foot because I have flat feet but do a lot of exercise. I expected them to find a shoe which would be right for me because they advertise themselves as “the best” . Shoes I bought are too big and uncomfortable and cost me $260. Very very disappointed. Will never return to this store and would not recommend them to anyone.

Hoka One One terrible
The shoes were recommended by staff at the Rouse Hill store. They were super soft and made every other shoe feel very firm and hard soled in comparison. Shoes like Asics/Brooks that I would normally purchase felt primitive and hard when tried on in comparison in the store. After wearing them for several different occasions over several days I have realised they are absolutely dangerous and terrible to walk in. They cause you to bounce around and lose footing on any kind of surface. They feel like trudging through soft beach sand and use up all your energy just to walk in the damn things. Dont buy this rubbish.

Good service
Last review I said the sales staff were dreadful, at Camberwell athletes foot. Today it couldn’t have been more different, we had a young man called Lachlan, he was knowledgeable, honest, helpful and we left with a great pair of runners. Thanks Lachlan, you’ve restored my faith in Athletes foot!

Terrible customer service
Trying to get a faulty assessment done, which I was told would be 2 days, 3 weeks later I'm still waiting. Now no one is replying to emails, they are not answering phone calls and no one is replying to Facebook messenger. This is unacceptable especially during lockdown in Victoria... not happy I'll be taking this further!

All good!
I ordered my running shoes and got them two days later which is almost a miracle nowadays. Shoes are perfect, no complaints!

Shocking service, unacceptable….still no refund after almost 3 weeks return!
After 3 weeks and endless chasing up after not yet receiving shoes, endless phone calls where I was continuously disconnected, ie, hung up on, due to high call volume, apparently, and several emails which were only responded to eventually, ie a week later, I finally got through to a customer service agent! Turns out they hadn’t even shipped the shoes and the reason being that someone had marked them as being click and collect…during COVID at an ACT store, and I live in Sydney! Serious error on their part. Nothing but hassles and stress. Took we...
Read moreeks of me chasing, hours wasted on trying to get what I paid for to me!! Turns out I had to return them, after all that, as they are too small…it’s been a couple of weeks now and I still haven’t received my refund and the shipping tracker shows they are midway back to store and it has not moved from that position since 4 September, and no new updates in over a week…I will NEVER shop at athletes foot again. Trying to get things delivered is hair pulling out stressful! In a customer centric market place, they are not up to par, at all. I have been ordering everything online lately due to COVID and with every other organisation, it has arrived within a week max. This is just inexcusable. They need to strengthen their e-commerce by adding way more online customer service agents and getting organised internally and smoothing things so they are error free. It’s a joke. They won’t last if they keep going they way they are! Their online delivery and customer service is shockingly bad! Next time it’ll be Brooks direct or anywhere else!!! Won’t ever shop here again after this!!!Find out how The Athlete's Foot compares to other Footwear Shops & Brands

Customer Service non existent
I purchased two pairs of oncloud running shoes. Easy enough, good price, good stock etc, perfectly fine re delivery, except when my addressed package arrived what was inside were two pairs of children's shoes and a docket in another persons name. Tried calling a few times that day 1/9 and got cut off after 15 mins waiting time each time. Sent an email and got a bounceback offering 'helpful' suggestions. Tried to call the next day, same issue, though I did reach a human who said they were the wrong department and couldn't redirect my call. The h...
Read moreold music is designed to make you hang up immediately, it wouldn't be out of place in a captive hostage situation. So I texted the owner of the children's shoes, because all of her info was on the docket - address, phone, email etc. She had also been trying to get in touch. Nothing. On the 3/9 we decided between us we would mail each others shoes to each other and then try and get TAF to reimburse our postage. Both of us received our shoes the next day, QLD to NSW. It is now the 10/9 and after tweeting, emailing, phoning, instagram and facebook messaging, both publicly and in DM all I have had is a generic reply on insta that due to Covid, deliveries and refunds are delayed. Neither of which are in my actual complaint. The live chat function on the website is useless, it just spits out 'suggestions' and then asks if they were helpful. A few days after my delivery we got a 'feedback' email from TAF. They got some feedback alright, but no reply. I tried emailing one more time yesterday, but got an undelivered message as their mail box is full... full of complaints I would imagine. What on earth is going on? I can only imagine the irritation if the shoes I did buy hadn't fit, or I did need a refund. At the moment I am out of pocket some $25 odd for postage, but a small price to pay for some poor mother to get her kids school shoes. I get it, its a pandemic, but everything is online, to not even reply, or respond to any of those queries across all platforms beggars belief. Hopeless. Never again.- 11 reviews

Good pensioner service!
Went along to the Athletes Foot here in Hobart TAS to buy a pair of sneakers. I am in my seventies and need a correct fitting pair of sneakers as I go in Parkruns. I use to buy sneakers at Kmart but this time I wanted properly fitted sneakers so thought I would go along to the Athletes Foot to use their equipment to get a correct fitting. The shop is very nicely set out and being elderly was a little intimidated as it looked like it is geared for a much younger clientele.
A young lady by the name of Hannah served me and was very professional...
Read more and spent time explaining various sneakers. Hannah asked me to use their MyFit 3D system so that she could make sure I received a correct fitting. After trying several pairs I made a selection and bought a pair of Brooks Ghost 14 sneakers. An unexpected bonus was a pensioner discount. Thank you Hannah for your patience and professional service.Completely unsatisfied with service I got.
Came on here to voice my complaint but when I saw how many unhappy customers I realized it was a of time.

Very unhappy with service
I went to Erina Fair store yesterday to purchase a pair of Leather shoes suitable for my nursing work. I clearly stated that I had come to them because my last pair were not worn out but the previous shop which was not their store had ordered shoes in for me and they turned out to be vegan leather which is not comfortable. I explained and it was obvious that I wear lower limb compression garments that my feet swell and the shoe must be leather. As you can see from the photos the shoes I was sold were NOT LEATHER when I was shown these shoes I c...
Read moreommented are you sure they are leather shoes as they look like some type of vinyl sprayed over the top. The blonde haired your lady said yes it is a very fine leather which they stretch over the top. I said oh they are comfortable but very cheap for leather, I’ll take them. On arriving home see the photos yes I immediately returned them. I won’t have expected to get SCAMMED by a local shop. Irma- 2 reviews

Poor customer service
Very poor customer service by a sales person at Bankstown Athletes Foot. Would never want to be served by this inexperienced person again. He originally served me back in late January and suggested shoes for my son that were not suitable for his orthotics or foot requirements.
In actual fact I was not being served by him this time. I was returning my sons unsuitable shoes under the returns guarantee and purchasing another suitable pair. I was being served by the Manager who suggested a more suitable shoe. When I looked up the price of the sh...
Read moreoe online, the price difference was $30 more at Athletes Foot. I asked the Manager whether they price match competitor prices. The Manager said that they don’t. I explained that it’s a big difference in price from $180 to $150. He offered me a $10 discount because a podiatrist referred me. To which I was thankful. When I went to pay for the shoes I mentioned to him that I had a credit of $30 on my account that I would like to apply to this purchase. He then went to advise me that he would now not be offering me the $10 discount on the shoes because I had a credit. I proceeded to question him about his logic, given that the $10 discount in price offered was separate to anything to do with how I would pay for my purchase.Questions & Answers
What warranty is there on shoes purchased from athletes foot. Mesh fabric above big toe has failed twice...wearing socks and no gnarly toe nail.....fabric is not fit for purpose. First shoe in less than 1 year second shoe less than 6 months. Both purchased in store at lismore nsw.
