Worst customer service
Bought a pair of Mizuno shoes for basketball. The sales person said they were good for basketball. Exactly after 2 months I took them back to the store because they were too slippery on court. The manager said they are not basketball shoes and I shouldn't have bought them. $230 and I had to buy new shoes. So irresponsible.

Horrible experience and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I purchased shoes for my daughter which were too small. They didn’t have any shoes in her size and told me they have an exchange only policy. The four styles they had my daughter would settle on were not available in her size because they didn’t have them in stock. Their inventory was depleted. They told me that I should exchange them for clothes. When I asked for the managers email or contact info the manager told me he couldn’t give it to me. I lost $90 and now have a pair of shoes which are of no use to me or my daughter. This is in Chicago Ridge Mall.

on line customer service
I purchased 3 pairs of sandals on line. They arrived very quickly. Only one pair suited me. This pair unfortunately arrived with a very noticeable dark discolouration on one strap. I returned them to a retail store who gladly returned the two unwanted pairs but were unable to help with a partial refund on the faulty pair. I could return them as no replacement stock was available. As I was happy with the pair of sandals but not happy to pay full price I embarked on an attempt to communicate with customer service. After being on the phone for 16 ...
Read moreminutes on two separate days an automated message advised me to use email or live chat. Tried these lines of communication but kept receiving a generic reply by email re returns and never addressing my question. My conclusion is there are no customer service people at all but a computer responsding to trigger words in the emails. The telephone number they provide is a sham. Customer service is only a token service. From now on I will shop in store only. Very dissapointing!!!!!!!Saucony Omni not authentic
My Omni 19 have arrived, but I don't believe they are authentic. I have had Saucony Omni for the past 9 years and this pair don't support my feet like all the previous pairs I have owned. I purchased these shoes from this site because the shoes pictured where the same as the Saucony website, but my shoes are not the same, there are slight modifications to the design of the shoe, which also makes me believe these are not authentic. Not happy with my purchase at all, and wont be purchasing my Saucony Omni's from this web site again.

Very unhappy with service
I went to Erina Fair store yesterday to purchase a pair of Leather shoes suitable for my nursing work. I clearly stated that I had come to them because my last pair were not worn out but the previous shop which was not their store had ordered shoes in for me and they turned out to be vegan leather which is not comfortable. I explained and it was obvious that I wear lower limb compression garments that my feet swell and the shoe must be leather. As you can see from the photos the shoes I was sold were NOT LEATHER when I was shown these shoes I c...
Read moreommented are you sure they are leather shoes as they look like some type of vinyl sprayed over the top. The blonde haired your lady said yes it is a very fine leather which they stretch over the top. I said oh they are comfortable but very cheap for leather, I’ll take them. On arriving home see the photos yes I immediately returned them. I won’t have expected to get SCAMMED by a local shop. Irma- 10 reviews

The Worst
I visited The Athletes store at North Lakes Qld today and took a pair of shoes to the counter to purchase .The price marked on the shoes was $239.95 . When at the counter the rude guy at the counter said that the shoes was $249.95 . Not the price marked on the shoes . These people should be informed of the laws governing marked prices in the retail industry . Please dont be caught . Stay away from this store and the very rude people that run it . Buyer beware .

Exchange Policy needs to review
Very poor service, need to make a better judgment on Customer service. I require 2 pairs of shoes one pair of a jogger and one for work, which was recommended by my Podiatry because of my sore heel. The model of one was to change from a 880 to a 857 cross trainer everything is brand new as I have to leave it for my Podiatry to fit the inner sole because it been with my Podiatry, it passes it 30 days return policy. And the second pair the Poditray request a higher heel so I went back to change but it time They recond that I had a second fitting and they will not change for the right one to suit me. Just lost another customer plus others
Unhelpful Staff
The smallest selection of shoes out of all the stores I’ve been to. There was a shoe that my sis wanted but they didn’t have the size so we asked them if they could order or check from other stores in different areas, they went to the desk and talked with each other for a long time before saying they could do neither. When we asked more about the shoe structure they replied 'why do you need that particular shoe.' The staff clearly didn’t want to help us and wasted our time.

Sold a lemon twice.
For many years I purchased ASIC's from Athelites Foot with predictable good results. A few years ago a got a new pair but at I used them it became clear that the fit was wrong, my new expensive shoes were to small, however I was able to use them for the gym. Putting this down to a one of error, I went back to the same store, told them what had happened and they I wanted to buy a new pair. So once again the put me on the walking machine and measured my feet ect. This time they recommend a few different shoes including a Brooks which I decided to...
Read more take Ghost 10. I finally used them on a simple flat 2 hour walk last night. Fit was great but 0 support, by the end of the walk my back, legs and feet were in agony. The Brooks are going in the bin this morning. Never have I had a pair of shoes do this to me and I don't know how the hell a professional sports store could recommend them. Athletes Foot I am done. You need to do way better than this.Find out how The Athlete's Foot compares to other Footwear Shops & Brands

So disappointed in both product and service
I’ve been a loyal customer of The Athletes Foot for over 10 years. I have back, ankle & foot issues so I have relied on good footwear because of this.
I have been so disappointed with my recent experience.
Due to Covid we can’t shop in person, and my last pair of Brooks developed holes in the mesh. I ordered a new pair online, but when I tried them out they were giving me pain across my foot so I asked if I could return them. One week, 6 photos and 16 emails later they agreed to a return.
I took the shoes to Australia Post where I was ass...
Read moreured the box could be taped and returned. Another week later I received an email that my return was denied because of the tape! Apparently there’s fine print on their website that says this, but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in my emails. You can see the final email below with no mention of the box which is apparently worth about $200. I have exchanged another 8 emails with customer service begging for help with no luck. I strongly recommend against online shopping with this company. They just don’t care.- 4 reviews

Return policy is a sham - I encourage those in similar situations to report to ACCC.
Went into my local AF store to buy a new set of footy boots - as i was returning back to sport after an ACL reconstruction. The store had no boots in my size whatsoever so encouraged me to purchase online as they claimed they had a good returns policy if they didn't fit properly. Went online purchased some boots, tried them on - one pair was far too narrow and without any heal support (even though the specs were the same as the pair i ended up sticking with). Sent them back as per the returns policy- as they didnt comfortably fit and werent fit...
Read more for purpose - i need good heal support to help stabilise my knee. AF deny the return due to the box having some tape on it - when i taped it shut. After complaints and calls, and advice from Consumer Affairs - I have just made a complaint with the ACCC, and encourage others with similar stories to do the same. Businesses shouldnt be able to deny a return on goods because of a box defect - esp if they aren't fit for purpose. Hopefully with enough complaints something can be done about their dodgy returns policy that isn't inline with consumer law.- 3 reviews

Non existent after sales service
Bought a pair of running shoes and mesh ripped in a short amount of time. Returned to store where I purchased them and was told photos needed to be taken as to be sent to asic to warrant them. This took over a month!!
Finally got another pair and guess what..same problem. Been waiting nearly 2 weeks for reply. Not good enough. I want my money back. Will never shop there again!
