This is a great product.
Set-up two of these Electronic Mouse Stations yesterday morning and within the first 2 hrs got 9. Last night got 61 as per the photo + another 5. Living on the land, mice are a real problem right now and this product is great because the station is easy to set up, used ratsak bait pellet/ peanut butter/bird seed to atttact them, very quick kill 5 seconds, sometimes catch two at a time, no mess besides a droplet of urine to wipe off the plate (used paper towel) for that. Highly recommend this product to anyone and worth every cent.

Finally found the one !
We purchased this after the good old snap traps being hit and miss ! We caught 4 mice in the first 2 days. We live on a rural property so isn’t unusual to have this much activity. It was easy to set up and very easy to dispose of the deceased mice. Best trap and have already recommended to family members.

Needs some patience
I spotted mouse in my house for the first time in a few years, and did some research. I bought this from the Bunnings after reading the good reviews here. Along with it, I also bought Ratsak. I used peanut butter as bite, and left it under the kitchen sink where I noticed mouse activities. For the first few days, nothing happened. I could still see mouses were active, but neither Ratsak or the Big Cheese was touched. I repositioned the device and let the entrance side towards the open space instead of the wall as instructed. Still nothing happe...ned. I decided to take it back to the Bunnings and asked for a refund. The following morning, I opened the door under the sink, there was a dead mouse inside the device. The next day, another one! Since I only spotted one mouse, I thought that is all. Guess what, another one after 3 days - I did not even change the bait. It is also very easy to dispose the body: put on gloves, open the lid over a rubbish bin, and through the bin bag in the rubbish bin. Therefore, highly recommended!

Did the job
We bought this trap and the first one must have been faulty as mice could get the bait and escape. But we got another and it works really well. Keep your receipt when you buy so you can ensure yours works. We've caught three mice with it so far and none seem to have suffered long. It's easy to set up and easy to clean. We've gone through a lot of different ways of getting rid of mice that never seem to work but this seems to be the best solution.

Only one that works
I had tried nearly product out there, nearly killed the dog when mice pulled out the wax block for her !!! Just a bit hard to separate the two parts, love to see the dead mice and I don’t have to touch them !!

Big cheese electric trap
Small unit. Great design.Easy to use. Mice are dead stiff. No mess (blood/ faeces etc) just open lid and tip out. Very happy with this product. Will most likely buy a second trap. A piece of mueslie bar fits in perfect as bait and can't be drug back out. Only thing. I would have added small cage for bait, so when tipping mouse out bait stays in. Otherwise can't be more pleased.

Questions & Answers
We have bought several big cheese mouse traps. Our experience is that they work initially but then stop working. We would like yo know what to do to make them work properly? Thanks.
Same here. Worked fine for a few weeks, now, despite new batteries and green blinking light when activated, the mice simply get a free feed and ... no 'consequences'. It now 'buzzes' a few seconds after activation and then all is silent. This is a new phenomena and perhaps indicates the failure? Returning to Bunnings for replacement or refund.
I have been given a Big Cheese Rat Trap in lieu of a mousetrap. Is it too large to capture mice?.
No it's not too large. When it's switched on, it should zap whatever steps in, whether big or small.
Hi, the mouse has been in and took the bate but didn’t get shocked. Thoroughly checked it over no debris, batteries work, switched on and green light flashes. Should I give it another go if it doesn’t work could it be faulty? Any ideas? Many thanks, Heather
I think I read someone else had a faulty one and swapped it. I'd take it back if you can and try another.
