Fake basswood shutter, no certificate, fake material
They sell fake "basswood" plantation shutter, they gave the cheapest quote and end up with a Timber Composite, which is basically a shutter with a thin outer layer of timber, but the inside is made up of another material glued together to make the panel, frame and slats. So while it looks like solid timber from the outside, it is actually made of many materials. within a few weeks, everything started go wrong, warping louvers/slats, inconsistent paint finishes, shutters coming off hinges...they can't provide material "certificate of origin", this company deserves a zero rating.

Terrible communication and poor customer service!
I have been waiting 121 days from check measure (26 June) for 1 x external ziptrack blind to be installed on a window (deposit paid 2 June). This company has provided no communication regarding my order such as progress unless I contact them. I have been contacting this company regularly (via phone & email) but yet to receive any commitment regarding my install.
Overall a very disappointing experience and I won't be using them again.

Great Job Guys!
Definitely would use these guys again, they tell you a time they will show up and they are there, had my unit fitted with brand new vertical by blinds by Danny, to give it my personal touch as I just recently moved in to the place, they definitely look better than what was previously here!. Definitely would use The Blind Factory again.

Good product but Very poor customer service
Got amplimesh security door from them as my contact was forwarded to them . Very quick to come out to do initial site quote. Installer was supposed to come out to do site measure once deposit was paid but waited 2 weeks and no one called to arrange it .Had to call to chase up for that. George the sale rep that came out felt like he was only interested in getting the job, very poor follow up from then after deposit was paid ended up waiting 2 months for the door to be installed (Had to chase it up as well ) and they installed it with the incorrect lock that I ordered. Communication from sales to installation team very poor. Was going to get other doors done but I am not going with them again .

Great
Really happy with the service and how easy it all was. However, the awnings make lots of rattling noises in the wind, sounds like someone's knocking on the door and awaken us from our sleep. But they do help keep the heat and glare out perfectly.

Good job completed before Xmas
Two screen doors fitted before Xmas which was the main request. A second visit to confirm measurements was not mentioned at first and there was some reservation about meeting the Xmas deadline but it was met with about 3 weeks to spare.

Gave me a quote, took my deposit then refused to do the job.
These guys gave me a quote, took my large deposit then refused to do the job. That's very unprofessional. I won't deal with them again and suggest you don't either.

Upon the site inspection, the Installer felt the job was unsafe to fit. ...

Great after sales service
Extremely happy with our blinds. But even happier with their after sales service. After having a minor problem with one blind (was taken down by painter and not replaced correctly) I received excellent service by Chris and Josh.
The problem was fixed in a timely manner and I could not be happier.
Would strongly recommend The Blind Factory.

Blinds were defective as it didn't block out the sun. Bad service and sponsors bad radio hosts. Tried to get them to rectify the problem but they asked me to shove it.

Terrible!
Our appointment with Andrew is at 11am. He texted me at 11:08 saying that he’s on his way. Didn’t even bother to apologise. 55mins later still no sign of him. No phone call, no text nothing! I called him and he said he was stuck in traffic & as usual didn’t apologise. All he said was he couldn’t do anything. Understand you stuck in the traffic but at least call us and let us know. TERRIBLE SERVICE even before we start!

Nice and Easy.
Began by emailing just to ask for a quote and a few days later Andrew P was there to help me choose the correct blinds for my house, answer all my questions and provide a free quote on the spot. Deciding on which blinds was made a lot easier with his knowledge of each products suitability. Also, the two gents who came to do the installations were nice to deal with and quite quick as well. Solid job by the Blind Factory team.

The Blind Factory-Wooden Plantation shutters
Paid Deposit 10/8/2017 did not get receipts until 23/10/2017 this company had to be prompted for communication. Blinds were not installed until much after this 2017-they are made in china. To be honest they don't feel like wood. Noticed bad warping of at least 16 of these shutters and contacted them 3/9/2018. No communication until I hounded them on the 10/9/2018. 11 or 12/9/2018 two people came out and took photos of "72" of these which had warped and not noticeable to my naked eye. People we paid $5720.00 for these shutters. The house we move...
Read mored into had existing wooden shutters made by "accent"-they have been there for at least 10years that we know of-not a problem. Again I contacted them on the 5/11/2018 and said and I quote "Courtesy would suggest that they let their customers know what is going on". I was advised by Jane on 6/11/2018 that they were being remade and will be here "sometime in December" (OK then they'll be in by Christmas) nope no way. On the 30/11/2018 after ANOTHER PHONE Call this time from my husband we were advised by Donna that ETA is now the end of January!!!!! Be very people this company does not like to communicate and will leave you dangling. I have one small piece of shutter missing and the rest don't shut properly and we have to wait from the beginning of Sept 2018 to the end of January 2019 and that is only IF they arrive. When these shutters were originally installed the people who installed them bought "Promrose" no more gaps-is this going to be pulled out-left? we really have no idea. My shutters have been replaced for approximately 2 weeks some I have noticed (without my glasses on) are bowed. This is very distressing as this is my "forever home" they will carry me out foot first from my house. Great service, quality blinds and shutters
After being disappointed my multiple blind companies, I have now settled on The Blind Factory and have not been disappointed. The installers in particular are knowledgeable and are always quick to advise if something won't work. The quality of the blinds and shutters have been good too.
No Blinds For Me
I organised an appointment with Tanya for Friday 21 September several weeks ago, prior to travelling overseas. Got a text from her today advising that management had called an all day sales meeting for Friday 21 September and she would have to reschedule. As I am unavailable during the rest of that week, I’ve had to cancel the appointment as I can’t take any more time off work. Very poor form, obviously, a sales meeting beats a whole house of blinds hands down.

For individuals and business's, the extended lockdown announced by the Government last Sunday will be a challenge that we all now need to get through as best we can.
