Wont go the extra mile for the customer
I went into the store to check out samples and i made it really clear I was ordering the blinds online and installing them ourselves. After 3 ltrips there for various reasons we found the fabric and was told they would contact the suppliers and let us know if they could do the blinds in that fabric as they had recently run short of it, therefore stopping that line. I was called back and they could do the blinds but because they had recently taken the blinds offline they would need someone to measure and quote for them even though we had the m...easurements and just wanted to order them. I was advised it would cost more becsuse it required them to come out to take the measurements and input the information into the system. I reiterated we had the measurements and just wanted to add it to our online order. Again I was advised this couldn't be done without sending someone out.. iI seems crazy that a company cant accept an order over email or in person without sending someone out and charging extra Because of the lack of service or flexibility I told the manager Ben that I would have to go elsewhere to get our whole house new blinds. At no point did Ben try and save us as customers even though it was a whole house we wanted to fit out. The Blinds Place clearly doesnt need individuals business if they can let a customer leave because they wouldnt manually add 2 blinds to an order consisting the only reason I couldn't order it online is because of low stock. The Blinds Place showed no flexibility or even anyone to think outside of the box. Ben was a lovely bbn person, probably great with blinds but just didn't go the extra mile for the customer.
