Just buy an after market ome and when u can replace the cheap batteries they put in there ....they are not samsung or phillips ... just knock offs ! Rest is good !

Hey mate .. I'm guessing the the cheap batteries have collapsed ..there not Phillips or samsung but a cheap knock off ... does the lights on batt itself still light up ...gauge on handle bars is not a true read ... if lights on batt ...then might be the charger ... but be careful what charger u use in place ...they have to match ie rate of charge..or u will find out the hard way ...if they dont ..so be careful ...! Cullen are not good with help ...!
Did you let it go completely flat if you did you need to jump it off another I had it happen to me charger won't recognise the battery if it is to flat

Depends who you ordered it thru ..! Ebay sellers are a bit dodge and don't honour any guarantee and there delivery companies are not fast or reliable... cullen well they don't answer questions for some time ... like the bike but sellers are dodge !

I just received a cullen version 4 2000W 52V ebike. It was very fast for 15mins then became sluggish dropping from top speed of 65kmhr to barely making 45kmhr. The motor makes a strange noise on starting and going uphill. No response from cullen. Is this mechanical or are the sw900 settings wrong?..I notice there is no 52V battery option in P03...only 36,48,60,72. Also what setting should P11 be on? Thankyou

I am sorry to tell you your ebike is 48V and 750W. I got the ver3 which is supposed to be 1kW but is actually 750W. It is also supposed to have auto brake shut off (motor stop when brakes applied). There is no such feature. Cullen are an unscrupulous bunch of crooks. They actually only sell one model that they market as a 1kW or 2kW model. The truth is they sell the same bike for two different profit margins. Read the reviews very carefully. Of the good reviews very few, if any, are people who have owned the bike for more than a week or two and the rest are clearly Cullen themselves. Easy enough to pick which is which when you are aware they do this. Your settings should only be 48V and 750W. My controller for my 1000W Cullen ebike can't be set to 1000W. Yours will likely have the same problem, ie the motor is 750W and nothing more. As for your speed problem, be sure you have the battery pack turned 'on' when charging. This engages the circuits that ensure the cells are all receiving an equal charge. If that circuit is not engaged the charge can be non uniform so some cells may be undercharged and others overcharged and damaged. The end result is what you described, the full charge performance dies away quickly. That is also a sign of a crappy battery pack so don't rule that out either. ;) Welcome to the nightmare of Cullen ebike ownership and maintenance. Anybody else thinking to buy one of these bilkes be warned, you will be dealing with a company perfectly happy to rip you off and once they have your cash and post the bike to you, there is no warranty on any of it. They might sell you spares, but that is it. And there is no 2kW Cullen. They are all 750W, so get the cheapest one but better go elsewhere, somewhere, anywhere, everywhere (else) is more reputable than Cullen.

Hi Ibordered and purchased the 1000 w Cullen version 3 blue and bbkack ebike from pedl in Sydney on31 st Dec 2022 $1449 in total plus $99 express delivery to Perth plus $15 transit insurance . Well...... Some express delivery.... We didn't receive the bike until late February !!! Theysent the orange Cullen version 3 but we were kind of just happy Wed finally got the bike ....... .we got the bike out together and every was great. Except the the breaks never worked as they came with absolutely no juice in them.. so we had to put it in 99 bikes to have brakes bled.... About three weeks old it was when it started cutting out power when riding just intermittently. Soon got a front puncture and out it into bikefirce which he out a prickle proof tyre on And happy days as the bike hadnt cut out for a while . Month after this we got a back puncture .... Seemed acceptable back to bujefirce for a prickle proof tyre... Bikeforce took two weeks to change the back puncture and when we finally got it back we took it for our first ride made it 20 meters down the road when all of a sudden the back wheel jammed up and and the tyre consequently fell out of the frame and made me take a fall off the bike and busted all the disk break derailer and ECT so I hobbled the bike home and pretty sore and angry I rang bikeforce Woodvale and had a go at him about the nuts on the back tyre only being hand tighten and he swore he tightened the nuts himself but then said to bring the bike back so he can redeem himself and fix everything that broke so reluctantly we took the bike back and he said he would personally deliver the bike back fixed the next day we'll the next day came and we got a call from him tell us how lucky we where that he bodged the job as he just came out of the control box and has found two wires in there pressing together and melting and would have caused a fire if left. That was last week he keeps asking us where we got the bike from so he can ask permission to start the warranty work on it, he sent us the pics of the wires he said would start fire if left now we have rung pedl who have said no that's what we do to make the bike go faster otherwise it would only go 25kms also pedl said to fill out the warranty form and wait to hear back from them if we can put up some photos and if anyone knows anything about the wiring could they pls let us know if this is normal or not as I'm just a girl an have absolutely no idea what I'm looking at here and would appreciate anyones help coz it looks like we going to get screwed over and if I can send photos on here can someone who knows about wiring pls contact me by email k.grafham90@gmail.com or by phone on 0411934013 I am in Perth western Australia it just seems to be one thing after another with this bike and being just a girl who knows nothing about bikes and I use the bike to get around everywhere and are now having to spend money on ubers every day and it's costing a small fortune so if anyone could help it would be muchly appreciate thanks guys xxxx
