Terrible Communication and Sad, Unhealthy Plants
Be wary of this company! I had a very stressful time dealing with them. You're better off going to your local Bunnings - they'll be cheaper and healthier.
I made a purchase a few weeks ago. I had a notification a few days after that my delivery was coming but it never arrived despite them claiming it was delivered through the link they sent me.
I attempted to message them through their social media accounts but was left on read. I tried sending them an email but didn't get a response for a few days. I finally got an email response when I sta...rted posting my situation on their Facebook ads (which they kept deleting). The claimed that they had to "reschedule my redelivery" which was never made in the first place and that I will get notified on the day if via email. I didn't get one but my plants finally got delivered. The plants were really healthy looking - my peace lilly leaves were coated with dust, my Tacca leaves had sun burnt leaves and my Ficus was bruised all over their leaves.
Well, the 'big plant sale' in Adelaide had only two camp-tables worth of plants (and this was halfway through their first day). The plants were over-priced, most of which I could find at the nursery down the road for $5 (or more) less and healthier. The range was very small. Customer service was lack-luster; there was no enthusiasm or kindness on their part. The music was very loud. We drove to the other side of town for this. I can see why they don't have the 'review' option on their Facebook or google as I think it would be very bad for business.
very poor quality and worst customer services
very poor quality and worst customer services. they are cheaters. I live near Schofields and their customer service insisting me to drive to Alexandria to return the plants. It's not possible to drive as there is lockdown here.
The Perth collective was false advertising at best.
What a poor "collection" the Perth collective offered. Looked like someone's garage with a very small and unhealthy plant collection. Wasnt greeted when we arrived, 2 staff members spent the time we were there on their phones, shame they didn't use that time wiser and water some of the not so healthy plants. Im sorry for such a poor review, but we both agreed it was such a waste of the 1hour round trip. Do not reccomend.
Sparse & Expensive
The reality was nothing like the picture on their page. It was a small warehouse with about a 1/4 of the plants shown in the picture. I was looking for a particular plant and noticed that it was 15% more expensive at the Jungle Collective than I had seen elsewhere.
Great range and reasonable prices
The Jungle Collective sales have a large range of healthy well grown plants at reasonable prices. The ticket booking system ensures the space isn’t too crowded which makes browsing easy.
Huge variety of plants
I love the environment and the bunch of plant that they got it ❤️. Nice dynamic of being short color for discount
Botany plants lately?
Great selection of indoor plants with a variety of common to rare, easy to look after or some wanting attention. Loved it!
Worth the distance
I was very pleased with my first visit to a Jungle Collective pop-up sale. The range of rare plants was great, the plants themselves were very health and happy, and the atmosphere of excitement was palpable. Customer service was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Would love if there was more stock available, but was pleased to see that they replenished before I had arrived (which was a couple of hours after opening).
Amazing selection of plants
Selection of plants was impressive, but I personally would prefer more. Customer service was amazing, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in giving advice. However, the pricing can be better given that there are other plant stores like Bunnings surrounding the area, who sells plants really cheap and sells rare plants as well.
Great collection of plant finds!
Such a collection of rare & beautiful indoor plants at the Brisbane location! It could have had a bit more of a jungle vibe going including addition of colour to the warehouse, but a great place to wander through for some new indoor friends. Would come back to the next one!
Such good vibes!
Amazing set up, with a wide variety of plants and a funky jungle chilled vibe. Definitely recommend. Covid safe shopping plan extremely well thought out and executed.
The plants I bought at Brisbane pop up had black fungus but will hopefully be okay. Pretty good selection of plants, some pretty well priced others pretty standardly priced. Even if you don't buy anything it's definitely just nice going and being surrounded by plants! But definitely hard to leave without buying something, yet to experience doing so.
Great plant warehouse!!
Great place to buy plants from a wish list, or just great plants. Great range of sizes to buy from. Good prices. Great friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
Capitalising on plant trends at the expense of quality and service.
I bought plants from JC for over a year. The last plants I received were full off insects and almost killed my entire collection. I would say upwards of 20% of the stock I received was barely rooted cuttings shoved in a massive pot. Absolutely hit and miss, sometimes I'd spend over $100 and find that half the plants were a stem shoved in soil. I got a few really good quality finds through JC, but far less than the failures.
And causing a 6 month ant infestation in my house, to which no one ever got back to me about, is pretty bad. I don't know...how much it's cost me so far. I have never had any response when I've attempted to contact them about delivery or pest issues. Final straw was when they were incredibly rude to me when I asked about the origin of their rare plants.
