Happy Healthy Plants
I went to Jungle Collectives plant sale last Saturday it was great, had so many healthy and rare plants that you normally don't find in nurseries and I found it was value for money. So much to choose from sometimes you go back to where you started and theirs a plant there that wasn't there before they bring out fresh plants hourly I bought 3 plants they're still in good condition also I found off street parking very good as well, I bought along my furbaby it's pet friendly. I will definitely buy more plants from Jungle Collective and go to their next plant sale in Sydney they won me over! Check their web page when their next sale is because it's worth going. I paid $369.99+$5.95 handling fee for a Yellow thai monstera, and there is last stock left. After I order, i asked for a pic before they deliver. I really want to know what exactly I bought as it is not cheap and also i have to wait one month to receive. I was told they are busy with packing to ensure the plant in excellent condition, so no pic will be provided. I am so shock when i receive this little poor thing, that full of dust, and damage stem and leaf, with lots of ants in the soil. https://www.thejunglecollective.com.au/product/yellow-monstera-thai-constellation-180mm/ <= this is quite different from the pic showing online. Scam company
Scam scam scam! beware and avoid if you’re reading this review Show detailsHi Zachy, Sorry to hear you've had an issue with your order. I have had a quick look in our emails but I can't see an email from you. Do you mind please reaching out with any photos to info@thejunglecollective.com.au. We are here to help. Thank you!
Overpriced and slow delivery
I’ve bought from the Jungle Collective pop up store as well as online and have been disappointed both times. The Monsterra Thai Constellation, which I paid $170 for was so tiny and unhealthy. It was $100 at Flower Power for a bigger plant.
I’ve since opted for home run businesses (Facebook market place) and have bought incredibly healthy rare plants for 1/4 of the price.
I’ll never ever purchase from the Jungle Collective again. Show details

Plants turn up in a shocking state. No care taken at all. Emailed and no response. I spent many hundreds and most things are ruined. Merry Christmas to me. Buyer beware. Very expensive plant delivered in a terrible condition and no customer service!
I ordered a 100mm Monstera Thai Constellation and it was delivered in a very poor condition. It only had two leaves and it looked like the main stalk had been it off.The smaller leaf in the photo died two days later. The plant is really struggling on the single leaf that it has.
I emailed the address provided on the website on the day of delivery (9th November). Still no word.
I paid $179.99 for this plant. That is a lot of money for something in a very poor condition. I have also included a photo of the example they use on the website of ... Read more
the plant I purchased. I have also included a screenshot of that item on my invoice as I note that a lot of responses from the company state that they do not have a record of the person as a verified buyer. I am thoroughly disappointed at the service I have received after paying $179.99 for a premium plant.I have just been contacted by The Jungle Collective and they have offered a replacement plant or store credit.... I am glad that responded to my second email promptly. I chose the store credit as I have no hesitation in giving them another chance since there are so many good reviews on this website. Not worth it for alocasia lovers!
As exotic and fancy as they appear to be, I’m disappointed with my order for a few reasons:- Delivery time 1: for finicky and expensive plants such as alocasias, 2+ days in suboptimal conditions is simply not good enough, sorry! They will lose precious leaves, suffer from leaf damage etc. Other nurseries that ship from Perth-Sydney (like FloraMagnifica) take less than 2 days and are also able to provide a very accurate delivery time so you can plan your day around the delivery. If tiny family-owned businesses can do it, The Jungle Collective ... Read more
should be able to as well. - Delivery time 2: I had to wait 2 weeks for the plants to be delivered. This information was available before I purchased, so if you don’t want to make the same mistake as me and want your plants sooner, check the amazing nursery Enliven, which is where they get their plants from (I’ve had an amazing experience with them). - Product quality: it’s quite frankly devastating waiting for 2+ weeks to then have delivered droopy plants with foliage damage. From experience, these alocasias have not been in good conditions in the past week or two. The soil is bone dry, which is a huge no-no for alocasias, as they need moist soil - otherwise their leaves go yellow and the plant drops, which both my alocasias have! More evidence of suboptimal growing conditions is the new growth is unhealthy - healthy, growing alocasias produce leaves as big or bigger as the previous leaf, but when it’s conditions are not good (not enough light, moisture, watering, warm temperature…), the new leaves are smaller and less lively than the previous, which is what’s happened here. There’s no excuse for this - I’ve had very pleasant experiences with small nurseries before delivering from all over Australia, and they take great care to ensure the plant arrives in great conditions, without any leaf damage, with moist soil and good growth! I will absolutely not purchase any plants from their online shop, and I do not recommend you do. It’s probably best to see their stock in person to at least know what you’re purchasing, and you get it on the spot! Presumably they will also have the “prettier” “nicer” specimens there! It's been years and they haven't changed
I purchased from this company 4 years ago when they started selling online due to covid. It was terrible then and nothing has changed since.Packing is done from a dark warehouse were plants sit unwatered for weeks while they are packed by (very lovely but) underpaid staff. 200+ orders packed a day which means if you're packed first you get the good plants (thus 5 star reviews) and if you're packed last you get the worst. If you brought enough plants then the cardboard box fits them well but only buy one or two and they'll just fall over and g... Read moreet damaged in transit. Too many and they will get squished on top of each other to fit into one box to save money. Plants get left at doors/ front entrances so if you're not home when they arrive they'll be left in the sun - since they've been in the dark for almost a month this means they get sun damaged very easily. They still continue to steal other plant businesses photos and put them online, so you are not getting what they look like in the photos. The customer service continues to be run by a lady in Thailand for cheap labour thus they never reply quickly or at all. There are only 3 or 4 customer service team for all of Australia. By offering you online credit over a refund they basically get more money out of you by getting you to come back to spend more. Just ask for a straight refund. If you don't get a reply go to your bank and have the transaction cancelled. That what I did. Even after years they still continue to delete bad comments from their social pages, the owners don't like conflict. And have said it's "automated" but this isn't a feature that exists. They are actively deleting comments to hide negative reviews from new customers. Most people are first time purchases and have no idea what they are getting into. There are plenty of good online plant business to go to - AVOID JUNGLE COLLECTIVE AT ALL COSTS. They are not a scam, but they are the closet thing to it.

ease do reach out to us directly at info@thejunglecollective.com.au and we’d be happy to help resolve any issues. I do feel like this review is from a job applicant that wasn’t successful and I am sorry if this is the case and you were disappointed. However it’s important to note that these comments are factually incorrect and hurtful. - We are a small family run business. - Our staff are paid award wages - We don’t hire staff in Thailand. - We always QC our stock when packing orders. - We use a hero image for our products which tags their Instagram and the second image is an image of the plant. If you have any further concerns we are happy to talk to you to discuss your concerns directly and we can be reached at info@thejunglecollective.com.au.Lack of response

I ordered 5 plants. They arrived in a massive box delivered by the Australia Post parcel guy. I could hear the plants moving in the box when delivered. One of the plants had its foliage damaged and broken off. The pots appear to have been taped to the bottom of the box, which didn’t survive the transport or stop them from being tossed inside the box. I’ve ordered plants from other online stores that arrived with much better packaging and arrived without damage. The delivery charges are excessive for being tossed in a box and sent by Auspost.
