Lying driver and damaged plants, terrible service and plants
Terrible service and plants, the plants I received were all damaged in transit, the driver lied about this, the plants never looked like the photo's, the woman who self title's herself as a 'happiness hero' must be the most pretentious in the business, she has a list of cut and paste answers to deal with the many problems she deals with, if you wonder why they do not accept paypal it is because paypal have buyer protection, avoid them. The Jungle Collective - not worth purchasing from
Postage + delivery: My delivery arrived promptly after being posted. The order was more or less what I had ordered. However, the box was very small (31cm x 23cm x11cm), pots were squished despite there being no damage to the box (suggesting the damage had already occurred), plants were taped down inside the box but had no protection whatsoever around their leaves, meaning I found loose leaves in the box. I've collated the website's stock photos (white background) with what I received for each plant.Epipremnum pinnatum variegata (variegated dr... Read more
agon tail plant) (70mm) - some good variegation on two of the four leaves this plant has. In no way is this anywhere close to the site's listing for the plant. All leaves are half the size again of the photo on the website. This plant looks like a strong breeze would knock it down for good. There are at least two completely dead and disintegrating leaves lying on top of the soil, one new leaf coming through is snapped and the other point that might be a new leaf is withered and brown. 2/5 stars Alocasia cuprea (100mm) - plant came with 5 leaves, all of which are still very immature. Not comparable to the suggested maturity of the plant on the website - none of the leaves are anywhere near the stock photo size. None actually measure 100mm standing. Two smaller leaves are going green with mildew - not surprising since there was nothing in the box to wick away moisture, it was all plastic wrap. 2.5/5 stars Cryptanthus desert star (loose in bag) - accurate to the listing. No photo included as I'm okay with this one. 5/5 stars Marimo ball (3-4cm) - misshapen, and left loose in the box in a ziplock bag with a little bit of water. Pleased the condition is not worse. Along the longest side it does measure 4cm, so that is accurate. No photo included as I'm okay with this one. 4/5 stars Philodendron subhastatum (70mm) - not comparable at all to the stock photo. Out of my order, this one was second worst. It has 4 leaves, because there was no packing done to protect the leaves and one ended up stuck to loose sticky tape and completely removed from the plant. The plant is much less advanced than the stock photo suggests, even though it fits the 70mm description. Backs of leaves are barely coloured, it is so young. Leaves are bent and already damaged. Nowhere near worth the price for the size of the plant I received. 1/5 stars Hoya carnosa purple pride (125mm) - I received an email from the company before my order was shipped saying that the original plant had arrived to them in poor condition, and that they would instead replace it with 2x hoya carnosa purple pride (70mm). Instead, I opened the box to find 1x hoya carnosa, and I couldn't even begin to guess the size for this - the pot is large, but the plant consists of 4 leaves, which is so many less than any stock photo for any size on the website includes (there are at least 8 leaves in the pot of the 70mm stock photo; the listing for the 125mm plant has been taken down so I can't compare photos anymore, but other hoya listings for 70mm include a vine or twice as many leaves). The pot is bent. Maybe I was supposed to email back, even though the email stated that if I did not email back it would be taken to mean that I was okay with receiving 2x 70mm plants. I didn't even receive the substitution. 1/5 stars, because at least I received a hoya. Overall: poorly packed plants, all much less advanced than the website leads you to believe, impossible to tell the size as both the pots and the plants are all far smaller than all product photos lead you to believe. The hoya carnosa purple pride (125mm) was identified as being in poor condition before it was shipped to me, but the company apparently forgot to send me the 2x hoya carnosa purple pride (70mm) it nominated to send, and the one plant I received matches none of the product or size listings. Not worth purchasing from again. The 2 stars on this review are from the prompt delivery and the fact that 2/6 items matched what I purchased.Happy Healthy Plants
I went to Jungle Collectives plant sale last Saturday it was great, had so many healthy and rare plants that you normally don't find in nurseries and I found it was value for money. So much to choose from sometimes you go back to where you started and theirs a plant there that wasn't there before they bring out fresh plants hourly I bought 3 plants they're still in good condition also I found off street parking very good as well, I bought along my furbaby it's pet friendly. I will definitely buy more plants from Jungle Collective and go to their next plant sale in Sydney they won me over! Check their web page when their next sale is because it's worth going. Show detailsMisleading company, do not trust, very unhealthy and damaged plants
Absolute worst experience. Do not trust their pretty website with instagram pics and indication of what you will receive. Do not trust their “buyers confidence” with offering refund, it’s a scam.Their plants are diseased and delivered dying and damaged including severe sun damage.
Their rapid deterioration shows these plants are not looked after before they get to you.

So if your plant is mostly dead, you might get 50% back. Not what any normal customer would think a refund is. Out of the 11 plants I received, 7 have completely died within 2 weeks. The rest need most of their leaves cut off. Regarding the damage and how the plants are delivered, their advice is to cut the leaves off and they will conduct training with their drivers. If you order from them, don’t expect a healthy plant or expect to get your money back. They are the worst company and should be ashamed of themselves on what they put on their website and how they treat their customers. All while signing off their emails from the Happiness Hero. You’re definitely not my hero
Not recommend. Avoid if you have an option
I paid $369.99+$5.95 handling fee for a Yellow thai monstera, and there is last stock left. After I order, i asked for a pic before they deliver. I really want to know what exactly I bought as it is not cheap and also i have to wait one month to receive. I was told they are busy with packing to ensure the plant in excellent condition, so no pic will be provided. I am so shock when i receive this little poor thing, that full of dust, and damage stem and leaf, with lots of ants in the soil. https://www.thejunglecollective.com.au/product/yellow-monstera-thai-constellation-180mm/ <= this is quite different from the pic showing online. Three of seven plants dying/broken, the rest battered
I ordered from Jungle Collective prior to Christmas and this week received my plants. Two chain of hearts were lying flat, so the soil fell out, revealing how small the root ball was for each plant. An alocasia and a Monstera adansonii arrived battered. Neither had much of a root ball. A raphidophora in the same shipment will be OK as it had good roots, but its leaves were battered so it won't look good for a year or so. I bought from here hoping to get established plants but I got pups and for the price and cost of handling would have been better off going to a chain store. The company did refund me for the alocasia and the monstera and provided a partial refund on the raphidophora, after a bit of to and fro. Not worth it
If you place your order before the 7th of the month it’ll take about 2 weeks to arrive. If you miss the cut of time the plants can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. This is due to the fact that they only mail 1 time per month. Pretty annoying. No other company I deal with in Australia operates like this.I have placed 2 orders and on both occasions the plants arrived in an open box. They are packaged really badly. Most shops go above and beyond to keep the plants alive. These guys literally put them in an open box and send them. Look at my photos ... Read more
which I took on arrival. They were also left in direct sun. There were SO many shaded spots to chose from, so their couriers clearly don’t give a hoot either. On both orders the plants arrived in bad condition. I’m giving the Jungle Collective 2 stars as they have good customer service. My last order was for $150 which I needed to cancel. They weren’t happy about it so after multiple emails I said just keep the plants and consider them a Christmas present but they gave a $100 voucher for another order down the track. I of course cashed that in for 4 almost dead plants. *** Update - They have offered me a $17 refund (50% off 1 of the 4 plants) and stated “I can keep the plant” This made me laugh. I love plants and regularly save them from Bunnings. Giving any of these plants back to this company would be a death sentence, none of them are going back. The photos are of that order. I live in Sydney so wouldn’t recommend this company. I think these guys are in Brisbane? Not sure but make sure you live very close to them. Sydney is way too far for their shonky packaging and even worse couriers. Will not order again.Hi Dave, Thank you for getting back to us and sharing your feedback. The plants I received weren't varigated
The plants that first arrived weren't very good quality but the Jungle collective after my review gave me a call and said that they would replace them. The new plants have arrived and have much better variegation and are in much better condition. I did write my first review without giving the jungle collective a change to fix my purchase. ou. I have also tried to give you a courtesy call this morning as well to discuss your order further.Overpriced and slow delivery
I’ve bought from the Jungle Collective pop up store as well as online and have been disappointed both times. The Monsterra Thai Constellation, which I paid $170 for was so tiny and unhealthy. It was $100 at Flower Power for a bigger plant.
I’ve since opted for home run businesses (Facebook market place) and have bought incredibly healthy rare plants for 1/4 of the price.
I’ll never ever purchase from the Jungle Collective again. Show details

Buyer beware. Very expensive plant delivered in a terrible condition and no customer service!
I ordered a 100mm Monstera Thai Constellation and it was delivered in a very poor condition. It only had two leaves and it looked like the main stalk had been it off.The smaller leaf in the photo died two days later. The plant is really struggling on the single leaf that it has.
I emailed the address provided on the website on the day of delivery (9th November). Still no word.

I am glad that responded to my second email promptly. I chose the store credit as I have no hesitation in giving them another chance since there are so many good reviews on this website.Wonderful customer service!
I ordered three plants. When my order arrived two of them were great but one of the plants was in a bad condition. I complained, providing photo evidence of the plant and I was pleasantly surprised when my complaint was dealt with in a very swift and professional manner. It is so refreshing to interact with a company that still believes in customer satisfaction. I will be a loyal customer now and look forward to all the beautiful plants I have in my future!
