Good and fast, just watch the charging!
We did all the moving of the small stuff from our five bedroom house and asked the company to move the long and heavy items, which did not fit into our van. The company charges travel time from a given depot, Kelmscott and a short distance away in our case, to your site, then to the delivery site and back to the depot, but the driver will be tempted to charge from wherever they initially came from. More follows:
1 The list of charges is quite extensive and detailed, which is good as that leaves little doubt what you may be up for, but after yo...u make the booking a second cost item is emailed, namely any item over 100kg will be charged out at $100 each. This is a favourite trick in business called “low ingoing” or less diplomatically “bait and switch”! 2 Once the job is finished ask for an itemised list of charges, like hours worked, hours for transport and how many items over 100kg. Do not just blindly accept what figure is shown to you on the mobile phone. According to the contract you are supposed to be charged for depot to pick-up place, then to delivery site and from delivery site back to depot. Just make sure those times are reasonable, as you do not care where the truck had been before it turns up at your place, it may have come from the other end of the city, so dispute any attempt at overcharging. Do not take the driver’s word for it and dispute any unreasonable charging. 3 Make sure the truck has a tail lift as advertised when you make the booking. Do not accept a ramp instead. 4 Like most other removalists, this company has no insurance and the only included insurance is furniture damage after a vehicle accident but you can pay extra for damage insurance. 5 Have cash ready for payment in small notes just in case of disputes, not only do you save yourselves the 1.5% card fee, if there is any attempt at overcharging you just pay that much, while with a card you just hand over whatever is demanded, which is not very wise! Credit must be given to "The Moving Man" as with some other companies they give you a very tempting low total and do not give you an hourly rate plus their computer program, e.g., only gives you limited choices for the size of a dinner table up to six people, so what happens if you have a large eight seater? That leads to disputes later as the driver is correct in demanding more for removal, but as you had to give them your credit card number during the booking process with a call centre, you have to accept what they like to charge unless you back charge later with the credit card company. Anthony ("The Beast") and Ellison were working very fast in the heat and arrived on time.
Anthony and Elliot did a great job moving my contents.
They had 3 flight of stairs to negotiate. Lots of cartons full of teacher resources.
At the delivery end they even placed boxes on shelves for me.
Thank you Guys for your friendly and efficient service.
Great Job Anthony & Byron
Anthony & Byron did a great job in February when they moved the contents of our 4 bedroom home into storage.
They completed another great job when contents were moved from storage into our new home recently.
Boys were friendly, helpful and on time.

Mostly very good.........
The move (3 bedroom house distance about 10km) itself was fine, but the truck was late arriving and the movers told me it might not be big enough to take everything in one load because of some mix up at the depot (also the reason they were late). Fortunately, they were able to get everything in - just! But it wasn't good for my stress levels.
However, the cost ($717) of 2 people helping with the packing for 3 hours the day before was nearly the same as the 2 moving men working really hard for over 4 hours, which seemed expensive and unfair.
A no hassles move
Great job by Anthony and Paudie, no issues and they turned spot on-time and everything was loaded and unloaded without any damage to anything at all, highly recommend the Moving Man and Anthony and Paudie.
We moved from a 2 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom townhouse. James and Scotty were professional, friendly and very hard working. They were half an hour late, and the move took longer than expected (in part due to the challenged with the tight, 2-storey townhouse and challenges with fitting the large truck into the narrow complex driveway), but they remained good-natured and patient, and were focused on ensuring we were happy with the placement of furniture. I would highly recommend the Moving Man.
Occasional chips and knocks on walls and doors
They were nice and mostly did a good job but they took occasional chips out of doors and walls. For the high price I expected flawless execution.
Give The Moving Man A Try
We moved a 3 b/room house from INNALOO to INNALOO using The Moving Man (two blokes and a truck).
The guys were polite, efficient and moved our stuff in 4.5hrs - Recommended.

I have moved into a two story apartment and am looking for furniture movers who can lift large items (sofas, mattresses) up over 1st floor balcony, as the stair well is to small and twisted to get these items up to the main living area.
Hi Briony, we are fully booked at present, however, we can suggest a company called Micro Moves who may be able to help you. 0411 485 532. Wishing you well in these uncertain times.
