Unreliable and Unprofessional
I inspected a house on a Wednesday; the agent told me the vendor wanted to sell before auction but we must sign by Friday (in 3 days). After discussing with my spouse, we decided to go ahead. On Thursday 8am as soon as Thinking Conveyancing Sydney was opened for business, I emailed and called Customer Concierge and asked if someone could review the contract by the end of day. I explicitly said if you are unable to do it, I will look for another firm. My concierge contact, with the initials C.C., replied at 10am said he was working on it and would get back to me. At 12:30pm, C.C. said my contract was allocated to a lawyer and would be reviewed by the end of day. At 4:40pm, I called C.C. to get an update and he reassured me that it would get done. He said would call me back with an update. At 5:50pm, I called the office again and found out C.C. and the lawyer already left for the day. Not only the review was not completed as promised, nobody even had the decency to let me know. I was stuck in a helpless situation at 6pm and was scheduled to sign the next day. I almost lost this house because of Think Conveyancing or risk to sign blindly without any legal advice. Pulling a house off the market before auction requires the buyer to sign an unconditional contract, can you imagine the risk?
While I was frantically looking for another firm at 7pm, I remember I received a very late reply from a conveyancer on a quote from a while back. I called her and told her about this total mess Think Conveyancing had left me...she agreed to stay behind to review the contract for me. I was so lucky to have found her and kept her number.
I would never ever work with Think Conveyancing Sydney again, absolutely unreliable and unprofessional!
Use at own risk, low price isnt worth it. I lost 100K because of their incompetance
I chose this company mainly due to their low rates but I quickly started regretting this choice.
The COS had obvious errors in it regarding dates. The solicitor never picked the errors. they sent me first letter with important dates that were weeks overdue. I tried complaining and the solicitor never responded. Property purchase is probably the biggest purchase anyone ever makes, dont use this company, they will make you loose money
I quickly chose Think Conveyancing to help me with the hope that I would have an easy and smooth process. HOWEVER, I must say that I feel really disappointed. I went through the contract review process over the phone with a lawyer (who is friendly and polite). I was told that I will receive the review/letter (after paying for $300) that I could use to make appropriate changes on the contract before making an offer. I made that payment and what I received was clearly a generic review/letter in which most of the content is not relevant to my case nor based on what I agreed over the phone. I quickly contacted the lawyer via phone (but no one picked up) and email. Only then I got a short email advising me to just tell the Realestate agent what I need to be on the contract. From this, I feel really disappointed about the service I received and how unprofessional it was. If it only a generic review I would get, it should not cost me $300. So disappointed!!!
DO NOT USE - No care and bad communication
Terrible Communication and multiple mistakes leading me to having no house for my family, animals or furniture for a weekend. I was told my house had settled so I handed over my keys. Only to find out later that my new house wasn't going to settle after the second attempt on a Friday afternoon leaving me and my family with no where to go. The best part was when I found out my house hadn't actually settled after the buyers had already moved in... All recorded on a call recorder.... And their offer for their major stuff up and massive cost caused to me.... $100.00... DO NOT USE.
Extremely helpful all the way to settlement
The team kept me well informed every step of the way with no problems. The settlement occurred on time and they advised me straight away.
They made it easy for me.
Sale of a Property
Excellent service provided by the representative at Think Conveyancing.
Sorted out a few hiccups we had with complete professionalism. Will definitely use them again for my next sale. Thanks Think Conveyancing.
I couldn't fault the service I received from start, to finish.
Everybody at Think Conveyancing exceeded my expectations, and were so friendly, professional, and efficient.
The costs were amazingly low, for the service received.
Sidnee helped us through the complicated process of a simultaneous settlement. There were moments where things weren't going smoothly, however Sidnee remained professional and continually kept me calm, assuring me that she was working for us, not the other side. Everything went through smoothly on the day, selling our previous property and settling on our new one - thanks Sidnee.
Beverley and Birger
First time ‘buying’ using this service.
We have used ThinkConveyancing 3 times in the past to sell properties. This time we bought. Very happy with the communication and proactive information. We would use again without hesitation. Each time we requested the same advisor, Lisa, and the standard process was intervened to grant our request immediately. We trust this organisation to work for us - no matter which side of the contract we sit.
Valentia provided us with a great experience which leaves me with no hesitation in recommending Valentia and thinkconveyancing in the sales or purchase of property.
Valentia was great and easy to deal with. Valentia kept us informed throughout the entire purchase process.
Wonderful Team highly recommend
The team at Think Conveyancing are terrific. From the start to finish they helped us navigate what at times was overwhelming and confusing especially with miss information from others involved. From the contract read through with Tessa, to Bernadette who saw us through to settlement it has been a good experience and I can highly recommend them, they are professional and keep you informed every step of the way. Its good to have a company who does what they say they will, especially at a time when you need it most.
bad bad bad company
very far from sit back and relax, the worst period of my life contacting them.
i tell you phone email in person they will not talk to you once you signed,
you don't know why they did that to me.
Overall a good experience
The fee was very competitive.
Jasmine was very efficient and professional.
A minor delay in transfering the purchaser’s deposit but it was dealt with satisfactorily in the end.
I would use them again.
Great service, very professional

Thank you very much Debby and thinkconveyancing.
Professional and easy to work with
Very professional, easy to get a hold of whenever I needed to. Phone calls were always immediately answered.
Made the process of selling my home as easy as it could be.
Michelle English was an absolute gem to work with. The initial experience of selling a house was daunting but Michelle guided me through it with utmost respect and professionalism. As a matter of fact the whole team at Think Conveyancing were fantastic
Thanks for always going extra mile
I would like to commend Mary Nguyen for her dedication, patience and professionalism. I have asked Mary to postpone settlement for few days because I could not guarantee that money would clear on time accepting extra cost of $850.00. When the monies arrived earlier than I expected, Mary escalated the matter carried and managed to carry out settlement on time. Her dedication and willingness to go extra mile saved me $850! Thanks for job well done, Mary I do feel indebted to you.
Good people made the process of buying the first house. As easy as going to woollies good people. And greater quality service. Highly recommended. Wish them nothing but the best.
After engaging Think Conveyancing, It is clear the reason why this company has so many negative reviews.
By my count, nearly 40% of the ProductReview.com feedback about Think Conveyancing are negative . Some may argue that’s a 40% chance you will also have a terrible experience which is woeful.
Just read the reviews, they will tell you everything you need to know.
My 4 main issues with Think Conveyancing – which seems to be consistent with other reviews:
1. Terrible communication.
2. Never respond to emails or calls.
3. Never follow through on promises.
4. A real reluctance to confirm technical questions in writing.
At its simplest, never have I felt so unsupported by a conveyancer like I did with Think Conveyancing.
When you literally have to beg your conveyancer to communicate with you about your settlement, there are fairly obvious problems.
I did provide my feedback post conveyancing, there was initial acknowledgement by a “customer happiness” team that the gaps were obvious, I was assured investigations would occur and an appropriate resolution would be found, but weeks later the silence was deafening.
I actually had to chase them for a response which is ironic, given the feedback was about their inability to communicate. I referred it to the CEO and heard nothing back.
I would not recommend this company and I would never consider using them again.
If you are reading this, no action has been taken.
