Extremely Poor Communication and Services
I've been looking for a cleaning service and found Tidy Me online which had good ratings so I decided to give it a go. However, I found out this is completely the opposite.
Booked a cleaning service on Saturday at 7:30am, got an SMS half an hour before the scheduled time saying no crew available and asking if I could have the service rescheduled. I replied yes but no response given. Can you imagine people have to wake up early on weekends and got got cancelled at the very last minute?
Hours later after no response, I went to their support po...rtal and chatted with an agent. She told me that the service could be rescheduled to 3pm and I accepted. Same story, no show and not even a SMS notification time time. Keeping promises, being punctual and keeping customers updated are the most basic business skills but none of these had been demonstrated by Tidy Me in this case.
For the first scheduled clean the crew member didn't turn up. When he has called he said we didn't have the correct telephone number. Second time around I was told there was no cleaner available on the day. Hesitant, I agreed to have one more try and again I was told, on the day, that there was no cleaner available and due to a shortage of cleaners services could not be provided in my area. I've never had a clean but the administrative side of this company appears to be poorly organised.

The cleaners do a good job, but the platform is terrible
I have had a terrible experience with TidyMe to date. The first booking was an easy and wonderful experience. The second booking the cleaner broke my vacuum cleaner, afterwhich she messaged me to accuse me of lying. Ive had a cleaner who literally put a clean fitted sheet over the one already on the bed when changing the linen, and now this week, the cleaner did not turn up. i have also had my first booking charged twice and it took over a week to resolve. To be honest, the whole value proposition of getting a house cleaner is to let someone yo...u trust into your home in order to take some of the pressure life throws at us (and trust me i am thankful I can afford this luxury). But if arranging bookings, replacing broken equipment and having to keep an eye on all the payments all require more work, not less, then youve got to question if TidyMe are capable of actually delivering on this value proposition. I unfortunatly signed up to the 6 month commitment for a cheaper rate - so to avoid the $200 penatly I will be continuing with them until that commitment is honored, but i will most definitly be looking for another provider after that.
Incompetent and fraudulent.
Back in March, I requested a cleaner with supplies to visit my home and they came without supplies, so were sent away.
I have been attempting to resolve this with this company since then.
Despite having a written record that no charges will be made, I’ve had money fraudulently taken from my account.
There is no phone number and they refuse to call from their end which makes it impossible to get a speedy resolution. Email communication is poor.
Please don’t waste your money.
In the past twelve months with Tidy Me I have had missed cleans, poor quality cleans and my cleaning time changed without notification. Terrible communication and disappointing service. I have now changed providers to have more quality and consistency in my clean and will no longer have to communicate via a computer if I have any concerns or questions . I feel over the time I have provided the company with the opportunity to improve but can never be guaranteed to be provided with cleaning at the organised time and the cleaning is always of var...ying quality as a different person does the job each week. As a full time working mother of two young boys who is also eight months pregnant, I need a cleaning company who can be relied on. Tidy Me has consistently proven to be unreliable and as such I would not recommend them.
You can book but they never turn up
Don't bother with this company. They don't turn up and just give excuses. The first cleaner was 45 minutes late by which time I had had to leave to get to work. They then rescheduled 3 more times but still no cleaner. Have decided to try another company. In the meantime my weekends are spent cleaning - a cleaner is meant to give me my weekends back - and now I've wasted more time just trying to find someone.

Unfortunately our recent experience with TidyMe in Victoria has been extremely disappointing. Several TidyMe members have cancelled on the day or turned up late, the customer service to reschedule has been non-responsive and the quality of the (eventual) cleaning has been poor. Having raised all these concerns with a so-called TidyMe supervisor, I am still waiting for our booking from yesterday that was then rescheduled to today, but yet another no show! Highly unimpressed.
Be careful. They charge you $200 if they are not right for you.
