Great Product. I use it daily

I have timber laminate flooring, carpet and tiles. This vacuum has a lot of different attachments which I absolutely love. The carpet & flooring vacuum head cleans really well. To clean the filters all you do is use the attachment and it vacuums the dust off at a flick of a button and wash it once a month. The light on the vacuum is great to see the extra dirt.
The only thing I would change is for it to have a bigger dirt catcher. I have a big house so I need to empty it twice to clean the whole house. Show details

Tineco not that fab

Have only had it 2 months and am disappointed how quickly the battery runs out. Need to run on low power to use it for a long time but suction not great on low setting. We have a reasonable sized home and I have to wait for both batteries to recharge if I want to do a decent vac ie. the entire home 320sqm. Wanted to get a 3rd battery but they are so expensive. It is ok for quick clean up. Yes it is easy to use. I do not enjoy having to constantly empty the dust chamber. It fills up pretty quickly with dog fur and dust. We have tiles, carpet and timber. Works ok on all of them. Am used to corded vacs , I think it is going to take a bit longer to get used to it. Show details

Worst vacuum I've ever bought

Use on floor boards, carpet, and tiles. Doesn't clean (basic) any surface except at full power. Full power drains the battery very quickly, but that doesn't bother me as much as the full power over-heating the motor forcing it to shut down until it cools. I now sweep the non carpet floors first to save the power (and over-heating) for the carpet. I didn't expect the power or cleaning of a conventional corded vacuum, but this isn't even adequate for between 'proper cleans', and is abismal for the price tag. I'd expect this performance from an $80 vacuum from Big W. Show details

Doesn't have any useful suction

Since I bought mine 8 months ago I have had it repaired and replaced and it just can not clean. I really regret choosing this brand. They look very slick and stylish but when it comes to their primary job, ie vacuuming it needs to be followed around with a broom. It is really poorly designed. Very unhappy. Show details

Good for everyday

I can use same carpet head from tiles to carpet to rug and i have quiet a few living surface over 200sqm to clean. Its not good for big debris but overall surface and carpet head sit very flat not much noise. Battery time runs out after 15 min per battery not 100 min as stated as its not exact minute by minute configuration but better than my dyson v6 bad reviews point out that it breaks down several months along mine is only week old so will have to see if true Show details

Good on Max power. Non existent customer service

Got rid of carpet and replaced with hard vinyl planks. I have dogs so hair everywhere. Not much of an ask to clean those with a vacuum... Wrong. This vacuum tries to be smart with an auto mode which after a few seconds increases power if it detects more stuff to vacuum. The problem is that on the reduced suction of auto mode, the dog hair gets trapped on the felt around the bit that rolls on the floor. From there, it just sweeps the dirt around because it can't get past the felt trimmings. Put it on full power it works great. But if you let go of the trigger for a minute, it reverts straight back to the stupid auto mode. Show details

Disappointed

I brought the vacuum about 8 months ago, it broke down around 4 months ago and they replaced the motor. Now another 4 months later it has lost all suction and needs to be sent off again for repairs. Considering this cost just over $1000 I would have expected better, I went into buy a Dyson and the salesman talked me into the Tineco. Wish I stuck to the Dyson Show details

QUITE HAPPY SO FAR!

Purchased October 2021
I am very happy with the performance of the vacuum to date however the only issue I have is one of the heads is extremely difficult to remove from the cover whilst the other head is so simple.
I need to use a screwdriver to open the casing up which is extremely inconvenient.
I am going to attend the shop to see if this can be rectified. Show details

Unsure about the tube which I have scratched after 2 uses

So excited about the features of the s12 my husband surprised me with….I have used the vacuum twice on timber flooring and it is okay. Yet to use all the wonderful attachments..the long tube has easily scratched from just two uses. My first reaction is that the powder coating on the outside is not protective as the only things that could have scratched this are my rings or nails. Customer service said to take it back to a store for inspection….however I am positive that I am not the first person to comment about this….Looking forward to using my new vacuum and hope it lasts…and is worth the investment. Show details

Good features but breaks down

Overall the Pure One S12 Platinum has great features like an always on trigger, swappable batteries, lots of attachments, dust indicator, but it broke down within 3 months of use, took about 3 weeks to repair, got it back have been using it for 5 months and the same issue is back. Will be attempting to get my money back, at worst a different vacuum. Show details

Not happy by any means

The man from godfreys demonstrated and the vacuum looked amazing. However once home and I have now used it for 2 months, I am highly disappointed. The suction is not up to scratch and I’m using the highest suction which means the battery although there are 2 runs out quick. The dust container is small.
I have definitely given it a good run and not taken this review lightly. I’m just very disappointed in buying a vacuum that is supposed to be premium and in my own view a cheap version could do the same!
Im open to suggestions from the company, but right now I’m extremely unhappy and not able to recommend. Show details

“I just cant get no, no satis-suction”

I brought this vacuum after it was demonstrated to me at the Godfreys store and it seemed to have good suction on demonstration, however once I got it home this disappeared quickly. The main issue is the dust barrel is too small and as the dust builds up it renders the vacuum powerless. You have to constantly empty the barrel. The cleaning of the filter is also an issue as you have to use the filter cleaner that is again attached to the vacuum and use up vital battery time. I just now clean it with a brush and manually blow out the dust instead of dragging lots of parts around when I vacuum. Really a painful vacuum and I miss my Nilfisk king which had great suction and I just had to change over a very large dust bag every now and again. Show details

Amazing vacuum

Being a cleaner I use vacuums daily & I was sick of getting my commercial one out of my car when I wanted to vacuum my home. I had a Dyson like so many & wasn't happy so got a Tineco S12 & by far the best stick vacuum I've ever used. 2 batteries, a lot 8f accessories & no holding down a button. Love the lights at the front which show all the dirt & the touchscreen is very responsive. Very happy with it. Show details

A good companion

It gathers up what other vacuums leave behind. The two heads give complete control of the whole house.
The two batteries mean I can take my time, with no worries about having to watch the clock. Show details

Once were warriors

Happy at first but after 18 months it overheats and shuts down half way through first battery. No way have I ever got 100 mins of running time. Disappointed. Will go back to plug in vacuum cleaner next time.

Great for timber floors and carpet combo

I was looking for a stick that could vacuum both timber floors and carpeted bedrooms and this is the one. I had never heard of this brand but I am so happy with it. It’s much lighter than it’s main competitor the Dyson and very easy to use. Definitely worth buying.

Truly converted. Step aside Dyson!

Cannot believe how smart this vacuum is. Adjusts suction depending on the level of dust/debris it needs to pick up. Well designed with a whole host of additional accessories all included, great battery life and looks great too. I’ve been a Dyson fan for a very long time but have converted! Show details

Tineco - Take the Punt

I have been a Dyson fan all my life but in all honesty the Tineco s12 kills it. Comes with absolutely everything you need. I was hesitant at first but the woman at Godfreys steered me to this over the design and I'm glad she did!

The suction on it is amazing, its easy to clean, self cleaning and having the two batteries is fantastic.

highly recommendH Show details

Not the best!!

Vinyl floor with cats and dogs. Definately doesn't do what I expected / was told it would.
Have to vacuum in installments as battery X2 won't do whole average 3 bedroom house.
Gets extremely hot during use. Show details

Very Powerful and So quiet!!

The suction on this vacuum cleaner is phenomenal! I have thick carpets , high pile and it picks up more dust than I thought I had in it . Wow ! So very quiet too :) the Dyson I had sounded like a jackhammer in comparison. Double batteries are a blessing too . Very happy how it works on my tiles and a real easy vacuum to use . Show details

Better than Dyson! 100 TIMES! If only I knew about this vacuum before I bought Dyson V11. Would have saved me from all the hassle I went through because the battery on Dyson was crap! Show details

Using for everything, car, floors, carpets. Easy to use, no need cable, 1x extra spare charger-battery. Definitely worth it. Would highly recommend to everyone. Perform very well on hard surface and soft as well, lots of extra different sticks. Adjustable speed, light when you vacuum. Just perfect vacuum ! Show details

I've never looked forward to vacuuming

I have a large 203m2 living space house; on auto, I can clean the whole house all 4 bedrooms have carpet as does the theatre the rest is tiles. there are 3 adults 2 kids and a inside large dog. I've owned a dyson and this machine is hands down more intelligent easy to move light and has better accessories AND 2 batteries

this was the best accidental buy (I went to buy a crosswave) I've ever done I now vacuum 2x a day with small clean ups in between just so I can use this machine. worth every penny (Godfreys even gave me a 10 year free service plan for $99 - I was paying $49 for my other cleaner (shark) to be serviced there every year). Show details

Excellent for big home

It does a really thorough clean of both our floorboards and carpet. We have a very large area to clean so the 2 batteries are so good. We just love this machine and recommend to anyone wanting to go cordless! Show details
