Prado 150 Shocker Bushes
re 120 and 150 Prado’s - the TJM replacement bushes don’t fit the rear TJM shockers. I have had NO success from TJM local (Victoria) OR TJM HQ and the Qld Brendale branch, just hopeless, NO customer service at all. This has been going on for over eight (8) weeks. I have sent numerous emails and phoned them no contact by them.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS Shoddiest work and They Take No Responsibilty
Do not trust any TJM dealer. They installed a bull bar so badly it has rubbed paint off our brand new car and the manager of Tjm Chipping Norton Bob was all promises saying he would fix it but it is a joke. Seven months we have waited. Extra holes drilled in The chassis end plate to be able To fit the bull bar so we have permanent damage to our vehicle and they won’t even fix the splash guard. So we called TJM head office and they have refused to do anything to help in anyway. If you want dodgy TJM are your dealer. AVOID at all costs. Unfortunately we didn’t get to choose our installer as it was a write off replacement vehicle as the other reviews make it obvious this is not a trustworthy business.
Tjm xgs suspension is absolute rubbish
China rubbish garbage waste of money suspension kit for a mq triton I will never buy a tjm products again im arb only from now on worst suspension I've ever owned don't believe the videos about the suspension or the hype its garbage and go with any other brand I had to replace the whole suspension kit because it was that rough on the road it blew out with 20000klms of road driving contact tjm and they did not want to even know me even though the suspension was in warranty all the products are cheap rip off arb spin offs I with never buy another tjm product well see how long my bull bar and every other tjm product on my 4x4 lasts I'm not holding my breath.
Booked my car in weeks ahead - made to wait.
I found TJM very competitive with price on accessories so I booked my car in to have $9000.00 worth of 4WD accessories fitted 2-3 weeks ahead of time. I was advised that all the work would be done in 1 day.
Upon drop-off the staff member expressed some concern about having my car ready at the end of the day. I reminded him that I when I booked the car in, weeks ago, there wasn't any problems and suggested that if the workshop has been over-booked then it was an operational issue that I could not assist him with. Great products good value.
Have had suspension and snorkel fitted. Both good value and no complaints about how they perform. Would buy from them again for sure. Had their stuff on previous 4x4’s too.
Spent thousands on getting my car fitted out with their products and the winch that has never been used is full of oil and water. No help from them. Disgusting
August 18th 2019 Update: Stay away from thieves
This company will give you advice then take your money and leave you for dead. Lost 1500 dollars for a faulty winch after I spent over12000 dollars on fittings and they won't get back to me. Disgraceful
Torqit Throttle control
I was struggling towing the boat thanks to Dave and the boys at TJM Carlton they recommended
the Torqit throttle control and installed it in 10 mins what a difference it has made in towing and saving

TJM Clovelly Park Good Quality Product and service
TJM Clovelly Park. Had a Alloy Bullbar fitted and Driving lights . Small hick up with the lights but fixed up with no problems . Good quality fitting and products looks good .
Tjm Hunter Valley
Over 6 months (4 visits) to complete a 3 day job.
I had fitted:
Bull bar - No problems so far.
2 inch lift - No problems so far.
Snorkel - Scratched my A pillar (about an inch and a half scratch). One of the steel screws rusted within a month. I live inland and haven’t been near the beach.
Rear bar - All step plates were loose. When I went to tighten them I found they had run the lead for the trailer UNDER the tow hitch for some reason. I had to reroute it myself. ...Canopy - Three of the six C-clamps were very loose. The others were tight. Two lift up windows on the canopy - They installed one and then a sliding one on the other side. Then tried to railroad me into accepting it. Roof racks for the canopy - 3 times they got me down there (an hour away) and 3 times they’d received the wrong rails. On the second try they drilled the holes before they realised. They forgot to return my calls and tried to tell me they had called. All problems were just dismissed with a “Oh yeah. That’s not right”. Do not go to tjm. Hunter valley.
Great service and Roo Bar
TJM St Marys Adelaide. Had a full Aluminium Roo Bar fitted to my Outback Subaru. Well fitted and great service. All staff and service personel were good. Thanks a lot guys.
Poor response and quality of product
I have recently purchased and had fitted a tjm outback bar. I purchased it through a local distributor. While using it offroad it took a minor impact, only enough to scratch the paint. It did no other damage. However, it has bent fully out of shape.
In my opinion the impact should not have done this and i am trying to have it looked at.
I have had no end of trouble trying to have a tjm store take a look into it. My local distributor has closed and no one seems to want to help or even look into this for me.

TJM Hunter Valley have the knowledge, friendly advice and all Products you need from a Tent Peg to a full New Vehicle Build, nothing is a problem, only solutions when dealing in the upper end of Parts and Products to deliver what is, in my opinion, the best one stop shop. Actually taking the time to listen to your input of what you want to achieve, type of driving you do and what to expect out of the finished product. No Stone was left unturned, every aspect of the Build was explained, kept up to date with emails of photos or would pick up the ...phone and speak to me should anything out of the ordinary arise. The end result, one hell of an all round go anywhere Touring Weapon. The day I picked it up, it was centre of attention and took pride and place outside the Premises. The Director ran me through every detail of what I had before me, and expectations were blown away the moment I saw, drove and took the 79 Series on it’s first 4wd run. Couldn’t have been happier than a dog with two tails and worth every cent put into the Build. As I said at the beginning, from a Tent peg to a full blown 4wd Beast, the Team at TJM Hunter Valley go that bit extra to make any dealings, however small or large, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Manager is full of himself and workmanship of installers is disgusting.
Went to Fyshwick A.C.T. branch to organize a bull bar and canopy for my new vehicle 2 weeks before I picked it up so I could have them installed the same day of pick up, " not a problem" I was told. Took the vehicle there straight after pick up to be told "sorry, items are not here", 6 weeks later and excuse after excuse, finally get told the bull bar is there but they don't seem to be able to find the canopy ( it's a canopy not a matchbox ). Finally, they find it, BUT, when they install both items too much is cut out of one side of the guard ...to fit the bull bar and the other side is crooked. and bull bar is leaning backwards. The canopy is supposed to have two opening side windows, but no, one is a slider ( with no way to lock it ) and the canopy is 25mm too long for the ute tub, and the idiots installed it, I couldn't believe it AND the bolts they attached the canopy to the tub with, out of the 4 - 2 of them were rusted, must not have been able to find the bolts either. After repeated discussions with the owner about the shoddy work and his I don't care attitude I have never been back. Months later I travelled to Goulburn to organize another opening window for the canopy and my doing all the searching to find the maker of the canopy ( because no info at all was entered on my invoice regarding the canopy or the bull bar ). I was told it would be ordered and I'd be contacted when it arrived. It has been approximately 12 months since my order and still no phone call. I saw a remark on a forum where someone loosely said that TJM was in trouble financially, it is the franchisees who run the businesses and think they know everything and that once they get the customers money they don't have to care that are pulling TJM down not TJM themselves.
Top quality work
Have had a lot of work done by TJM at Nerang in Qld and it is top quality with attention to detail. These guys really take pride in their work and are very helpful.
Dodgy Installers TJM Hunter Valley
Took New Runva winch to be installed, winch failed after 2 uses, both earth's weren't connected properly, fried control box earth, isolator switch & voided my warranty, did not replace isolator.
Very happy with the service
Visited TJM Clovelly Park in Adelaide to get some accessories fitted to my Ford Ranger, staff behind counter were very helpful with the process, knew a lot about the products so I end up getting a bull bar, side steps, rails and a dual battery setup. Work was A+ and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at accessories for your 4wd. Read some of the reviews below and most seem to be bad for other places in Aus definitely not the case at Clovelly Park

Professional, considerate and switched on staff
I went into this store to get an opinion on some work I had gotten done elsewhere which had gone wrong.
They assessed the problem and quickly figured out how to correct the racks and canopy all while keeping costs to an absolute minimum.
The staff were professional, happy to spend time explaining as well as showing me how equipment is supposed to look when set up safely.
TERRIBLE WORKMANSHIP. Nerang TJM.
Bought an Aeroklas Canopy off these guys and 150kg Roof rack to be fitted.At first they were $400 dollars dearer than the Ford dealer to fit so they agree to match price. When I went to pick up Ranger the canopy was out of whack and not fitted or sealed correctly.Bolts on rack were loose.They had also cut out way too much from the tubliner to fit Roof racks, But to top it off they had drilled a hole in the wrong spot on the top of canopy and just put a white plug in it.Did not mention this of course. I refused to accept this and demanded another canopy. Waited 2 weeks for new one to be fitted. Manager is now sacked. Terrible workmanship. Would not go back.
Disintegration of both lights in TJM alloy bullbar after being on rough roads.
In 2013 purchased TJM alloy bullbar for Prado 150. Had to replace bullbar in 2016 due to altercation with kangaroo. This was fitted by smash repair company through insurance company. Went on road trip in 2018 through top end Savannah Way, Kakadu, Bungle Bungle etc. When we drove out of the Bungle Bungle walked around the front of the Prado and the drivers side bullbar light was hanging out just be held by the electric wires, the securing bolts had broken away from the body of the light. Took the light out and filled the hole with a sheet of pla...stic. The other light had broken away from the plastic body and was rattling around inside. Both lights had basically disintegrated on rough roads. I thought bullbars were fitted to take these sort of roads. When I returned to Sydney I contacted TJM to discuss how I was to go about claiming warranty as the bullbar had a 3 year warranty period from 2016 and was only two years old. I was then informed that the warranty had expired as it was based on the original bullbar purchased in 2013, I could not believe my ears so I explained that the original bullbar was destroyed in 2016 and this is a totally new bullbar which was fitted in 2016 by the insurance company. This person then informed me that warranty only applied to parts purchased by me and even if I could produce a purchase receipt from the insurance company it would not be valid. I gave up after another two attempts and went to insurance company who inspected the vehicle and agreed to replace the lights, which they did. I again contacted TJM and spoke to another sales person who informed me that most of the lights in other bullbars had been upgraded due to similar faults, the one for the Prado had not yet been upgraded at this stage. I said I wanted to talk to the Quality Manager but he suggested that I send and email to him and he would forward it on to him/her. I did this and one month later have not received any feedback from them at all. I am very disappointing with TJM and when ever I given the chance I tell my story and strongly encourage everyone never to purchase TJM equipment. All you need to do is read all the negative reviews to see how inferior there products are and what sort of response is given from TJM. Graham (Not Anita)
