Let me start by saying I don't get anything for posting this review, it's just something I want to do since there are so many negative reviews online.
You probably want to know if this website is a scam. The answer is no, I don't think so.
I've ordered from here once, and I'm about to do it again.
My first purchase was a pair or wireless earbuds.
They arrived a week later than expected and the Postal service (Australia post) did not give me the correct details to pick it up. Luckily I went to the post office on the day I thought it was mean...
Be aware for the 3% International Transaction Fee
Just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from them. When I checked on the credit card statement, there's 3% an International transaction fee.
4 days later they told me that the item was unavailable (which they should have updated on their web in the first place) and they agree for a full refund. I had to call the bank to cancel the international transaction fee as well.
Delivery Practices unacceptable
I initially bought 2x samsung phones which were the wrong ones and quickly emailed there support team to cancel the order as it had not been processed yet, This order was cancelled and the monies were refunded back into my account in 3-5 business days ( normal practise).
I then ordered the 2x correct samsung s9+ phones and after the 3 days of seeing my order status as "processing" i sent them an email as to why.. I was advised that these were out of stock ATM and they would be receiving new stock in 3-5 days. They offered me a refund if i didn...t want to wait. The stock arrived and then my order was dispatched for delivery. I had paid for full "insurance and signature required" for delivery Got home from work and he phones were just left at the front of my house and anybody could have taken these items from my doorstep. This is not "Signature Required" delivery because no one signed for these and were just placed at my door, I would suggest telling your "Courier" partners about proper delivery methods and signatures required and if no one is home to sign for these, then place a note in the letterbox advising where they can be picked up from What if these were taken by someone and here i was now asking for replacements or the delivery of these goods have not been delivered, This is totally unacceptable practise!

Good stick vacuum but English plugs not appropriate for Australian labelled website
I found the website based on the item. I knew all the detail of what I wanted and had compared prices. The website had .au at the end of it, so I got a product with an English plug in it to charge the battery. I found another connector and it works, however I was unable to register the product in Australia for warranty. With all of that, the product does work and will probably die in 2 years, just after warranty runs out.
Efficient Purchase and delivery process
Purchasing was simple and user friendly, together with the prompt delivery of the purchased product. It arrived damage free and 100% as per description. The only thing in dealing with Toby Deals that was frustrating was the communication process and time availability of the communication reply. It would be fantastic to have a phone number to call in addition to the email enquiry. Also your delivery organisation is not represented in Australia , which left me nervous as I did not know who will be acting in their place. only found this out via a blog, that TNT Deliver for DPE. U need to let your customers know this detail!

I bought a Nikon camera and need this by end of December. I've sent email to them but no one response, I'm thinking to buy it from other store but I have put a dispute in Paypal, how do I escalate my dispute to get money back? The status in my dispute is waiting for seller's response, and the status of my order is "Paypal Reversed", what does this mean?
I ordered a phone on 3rd of December and paid $25 extra for the express delivery which supposed to be delivered in 5 days but until now nothing ,sent 4 emails but no reply not even estimated time or anything at all ,the order number is TAUW380167782, any suggestion or help will be appreciated .

It's on its way. Calm down. 9 days is nothing. These guys need at least two weeks to ship anything, despite the times quoted on their website. I ordered the same Xiaomi smartphone on the 24th of November, and it only just arrived today. Although initially it ships via a courier called DPEX, it'll be transferred to Toll once it enters Australia. You can then continue tracking it via the Toll website using the same tracking code Tobydeals provide shortly after dispatch (not your order number).
Thank you very much, they finally replied to me via email, saying that it's out of stock and they are sourcing it... Hopefully I'll get it eventually, thank you!
