Never Again!! Deceitful and Time wasting
This is an updated review on my recent experience. I had to bring the car in as the heater was not working. I was told it was not covered under warranty and I would have to pay for a new heater core to get it fixed (but I would be looked after). A month goes by - no phone call no follow up - I took the morning off work for nothing. I take the car to my own mechanic because it’s winter and I need it fixed so my elderly mother won’t struggle with the cold. Here’s the clincher - my mechanic informed me the heater was DELIBERATELY BYPASSED whi...ch means the dealer KNEW and didn’t fix it before selling. If this hadn’t been urgent I would have ripped Lahood Motors a new one through fair trading. Never again. Oh and saying to me that you’re surprised the body of the car is in such good condition (me being female) is way out of line. Keep your sexist comments to yourself.
garry is a great TALKER BUT A LOUSY DOER
Had dealt with them over the years when run by his father and sent a number of people there no problems at all. So trusted them when helping out a friend who was in desperate situation. Garry was all caring and keen to help and "don't worry we will cover the lady." The engine warning light came on and they said no drama we will sort. The next day all the warning lights come on, Garry is all caring all concerned and all full of hot air. They stalled the lady for several weeks - would not return calls and the mechanic told us that he had been tol...d by Garry to do the minimum repair and then get rid of us. It ended up costing $1,200 to repair the vehicle for propblems that were there before they sold it. would never recommend them again and hope garry gets what he trully deserves - karma come do your stuff.
Don’t be tempted - disappointing experience
My daughter bought her first car here about 6 weeks ago and despite the initial good appearance of the car, we keep finding more and more faults. Who sells an unsafe car to a learner? She saved for years for this car! We took it back and they fixed our first serious problem, that is why I have given them 2 stars. However, after fixing it, they gave it back to her with two flat tyres! We have since also had to change two light globes, and have also found the tailgate latch is faulty. The steering is still not right, so we need to get it fixed by our own mechanic as the company told us there was no problem. This car should never have been sold in such poor condition.

Did any of you people who wrote a negative review take legal action? I have had a quite disappointing experience with them myself today, and am contemplating to do something. I'd be grateful for your answers.
If you feel you are treated unfairly, you can lodge a complaint various ways. Many formalities can be completed without involving a lawyer. Depending on the state where you are located begin with MTA, Consumer Affairs. If you wont do it, you will not know it! Lots of help available on google. Good luck!
