This is the best you can do? – I wanted to give you some feedback on a recent experience buying from the Midvale store. I rang to confirm that you have this specific item in stock (including confirming the price): https://www.toolmart.com.au/bordo-7456-1846.html?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiP_rpc-igwMVRegWBR0tkgV6EAQYASABEgJuqvD_BwE I was told that you definitely had one in stock and the following morning I drove to your store.

However, it turned out that Toolmart Midvale didn’t actually have the item in stock (the man I originally spoke to had put aside the wrong one) which was a bit of a pain. However, rather than shop elsewhere (because I needed the saw blade for a job that weekend), I was assured that the item would be available by 4pm the same day. Not as convenient as actually having the item I asked about in the first place however it seemed like an ok solution.

At 4pm I received a phone call from the store informing me the item had been lost and they were unsure when it would arrive at the store, certainly not in the next few days when I needed it. I explained that I had already wasted a day without the item that I could have bought elsewhere. The toolmart staff member wasn't interested in trying to find a solution which was pretty disappointing. I emailed the store that evening explaining the situation and my frustration. I never received a reply.

Over the years I have bought a number of tools from Toolmart as I like to support small business if I can. Price is not always the deciding factor. However, if you don't offer great customer service, Ill take my business to the larger tool shops instead. In this case, I bought a better quality saw blade for about the same price from TKD - the customer services was actually really good, the staff were friendly and they had much more stock to choose from.

Sorry Toolmart - I wont be back.
