Toshiba Gigabeat S Series

Good – regarding the capacity and performance, I give it high marks. it has the eye-catching finishing, that's why I bought it. So comfortable to use. No troubles except the battery life. very simple to handle, high performance, cute design. Most important point is it is very user friendly. small thing about battery life.
OK – I purchased a gigabeat because I wanted something with radio, which ipods didn't offer. I liked the 30gb storage space, and that I could use it to play movies as well as music. While I loved it when I purchased it, since I started to have problems with battery life and syncing, I no longer have much use for it. When I upgrade I will probably get an ipod instead. Gigabeats are used in conjunction with windows media player. Syncing is very simple, they are very easy to use. If you need repairs you have to post it to sydney at your own cost. Mine was switching off, pausing, skipping, etc, without any buttons being pressed. When I sent it off to be fixed it came back in the same condition. I had to send it back again at my own cost. While they fixed the problem the second time, ever since it has had very poor battery life, and runs slower. Worked with Vista when I first tried, but now doesn't.
Excellent – love the look and capacity of the thing, but above all I love how easy it is to use as a player but also when I sync it with my computer, just like a thumb drive if you want or sync with media player and get your windows media where ever you want to take it. battery does lack a little luck to get 7-8 hrs out of it, if you don't fiddle start going though the menus alot and sometimes down to 4-5 hrs. could have somthing to do with couloring up the big screen on it all the time(which is really nice too). Overall though this is minor when compared with everything else Awesome capacity battery life could be better
