Great carport

Installation seemed to take forever due to supply issues. Very happy with the carport(pergola). Staff were very helpful and obliging. No issues with permits or approvals. Highly recommend TotalSpan Ballarat. Show details

Had to lap short roof sheets provided!!

Crap from the start and got worse from there. Was provided 2 different roofing sheet lengths which have to be lapped leaving water to sit between and leak through the join. Definitely do not buy from here! 4 times the price of a Stratco carport! Buyer beware. Terrible customer service - good luck getting them on the phone Show details

Seamed good up until the problems started

Damaged, missing, customer service appalling!

We received half our shed a month late. Had to wait 48 hours for them to find(!) the other half and deliver that.
Multiple items missing including roofing sheets and damage to doors and roller doors.
The customer service was appalling and now a month later we are still chasing up replacements with no date or confirmation of replacement. Have lodged a complaint with the ACCC as a result.
Do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere!!

Very poor workmanship

Kieran the builder and his helper from Totalspan Sheds Jimboomba are completely incompetent, never turn up. The shed took 32 days to complete. Gutters and trim badly installed, holes drilled in slab in the wrong place, wall sheets cut too short etc. The roller door installation is completely botched and the door works terrible. Kieran and his boss Mark from Totalspan Nerang are unscrupulous and blatantly deny that there are problems and refuse to fix them causing us lots of stress.

Had to lodge a complaint with the QBCC. Waiting for an outcome. Show details

Future nightmares!

Don’t do it. Seems ok and does the job, BUT then in the future when you want more light and some simple views, by replacing some cladding with clear polycarbonate sheets… we are told by them that you CANT DO IT. (Btw they are friendly enough) however, Total span sheds make their own profile cladding, you are locked to them and they don’t make clear! Milky yellow is the only polycarbonate option. There are many sheds out there, whatever you buy, make sure they use standard profile Colorbond and polycarbonate sheets so all options in any direction is available to you for all your future needs. Of note, they don’t use standard colorbond colours either. After market add-ons look patchy. Frustrating! Show details

We ordered a double garage from Totalspan Ipswich earlier this year, we were advised up-front that there would be delays due to rain, COVID and other considerations.
Our shed was completed recently and despite a few small hiccups it has turned out great. Paul, David and the team did their best to keep us up to date with progress. Totalspan wasn't the cheapest around but we felt comfortable making the decision to do with them. Show details

Absolute joke if a company

No one can help you other than stating there’s delays. There has been delays since covid which is 2 years in now. The customer service is disgusting and not being open originally about delay times before signing a contract is just to secure another sale. Crap of a company. Show details

Don’t buy a total span barn

There was an advertisement for 15% off kit set barns yay I thought and signed a contract for total span to build me a barn. I had 2 variations I added paper to the walls and I needed a minor slab upgrade and the cost for these was huge another 6k for paper and 1 extra reinforcing rod in the slab. I wanted to get a small ranch slider but decided not to as that was going to cost $5500. Due to covid the barn was delayed 8 months. Totalspan would say we are building your barn in February then it changed to April then it changed to may. Finally ... Read morethe barn arrives and the slab is poured the barn is half built and I get an invoice with extra costs of $3200 added and I’m like um what’s this extra cost for ??? They won’t tell me just give me a general answer of everything has gone up I said im not happy with that then I got an email that said we are stopping all work on your job because you are arguing your bill then didn’t hear from anyone for 2 weeks. I sent multiple emails and got no response and when I phoned they would lie and say the boss was on leave. So I call the head of Totalspan and explain my situation and he also ignores me. So now for almost 3 weeks I have a half finished barn and nobody willing to talk to me and the stupidest thing is that they advertised a discount and then say oh just kidding at the end and add on extra cost absolutely crazy. So you might think when you sign a contract with them it’s a great price but any variations will be very expensive and they can add extra cost to the price you signed on because they have clauses in the contract. Anyway I would say don’t do it other people have told me similar stories and any company who stop work and then cut all communications is not worth getting involved with.

So many issues delays/wrong parts....

-first two contacts either left or where let go so was always dealing with someone new.
- fabrication is ment to take 4 - 7 weeks mine took 14 with no apology.
- Took the day off for delivery on the Tuesday and it never arrived. Call them and they just said they changed it to Thursday with out letting me know.
- Thursday day off again. No delivery.
- Delivered to wrong address. It say in an email delivery people will call an hour before delivery.

dress. Delivery was missing all fixings. Screws, nuts, bolts poprivits. - Was told they must be there. A week later they where found at the Depo. - It's 11 months later and I am still sorting out wrong parts. - Contact person was terrible and would just ignore my emails and calls. I asked to be considered for a partial refund and was just told an email had been sent to management 4 weeks later I called and requested to talk to a manager that knew nothing about it. Don’t touch these sheds

Pathetic. Shed comes with insufficient parts, and sizes of parts don’t match, but when you call them they explain that you’ll have to pay again for parts they never included. The shed was much more expensive than the alternative, no shed builders want to touch this over complicated shed. Show details

Mine came on a truck as 5 different packages, but they were all flat packed, so it should be something you can do. You would have to arrange a truck to bring it to you.
