Towbar was badly fitted, rattled and had the electrical connection tech screwed to the bumper bar. There was excessive play in the towbar tounge. Following trailer jumping off of tow bar and damaging car Allins refitted the tow bar more securely but refused to take any responsibility for damage to car.

Not a good experience at all!
I ordered a MTX venom towbar through eBay on 22/02/2019. A week later I got a message with an invoice attached saying I would be contacted further when there is an update and/or a tracking number.
I got an email on 4/03/2019 saying is on its way.
It eventually arrived on 19/03/2019 nearly a month after I ordered it.
Their website states dispatch in 1 – 5 days depending on stock levels.
When it arrived the packaging was damaged and one side of the towbar was protruding with paint rubbed off.

All was good until I tried to contact them, then it all turned to bad. Apparently they moved premises which I can understand is a problem. Even so you need to answer the phone more than once in two weeks. That is just crazy and shows a total lack of respect for costumers.

Way too expensive for parts only. It will cost you approx $200 more than getting it supplied and fitted elsewhere. Towbars Australia trick you into thinking its easy to fit. Most tow bars are too difficult to fit by the general public and requires a professional. If you buy from Tow bars Australia it will cost you a lot more once you get a professional to fit it for you. Its way cheaper to get a quote in Sydney from a Tow bar Company to supply and fit completely. The tow bars are very expensive once you add the fitting fee.

Purchased towabar. Arrived quickly. Went to fit and spacers are the wrong size and there us a huge gap between towbar and chassis of van. Not sure if they sent the right one but have tried calling their "24/7" support line all day....emailed them....left messages amd no reply back. If this gets sorted then will update this review. Until then I feel pretty upset.
