Online purchases are a pain
When purchasing online trade tools force you to check your own bank account to verify that the online transaction is you.
They justify this by saying they are trying to protect you but in reality they are pushing the responsibility for online security onto the customer.
This means you cannot do a same day transaction and are forced to wait until at least the following day in most cases.
Really bad service.
When i called head office to report this i did not hear back from them at all.

They did not provide the correct items as advertised or per my order.
Spent $1800 in a single order after chatting to their sales team about the products, kits etc. Everything was okay until the order arrived, I noticed that they sent two incorrect 56V batteries from two of the kits ordered. I promptly contacted their sales and customer service team with photos and requested for a return and replacement of the incorrect batteries. They acknowledge that they made a mistake and sent me order model batteries but at the same time tried to tell me that they are the same as the newer ones (which they are obviously not ...e.g completely missing a gauge feature). After days of liaising with their team in attempt to effect return of the incorrect items for replacement, I'm being told that they expect me to take a full day off work to stay home to personally handover the return parcel to their courier as their couriers don't work in any time frames. I haven't been able to use 2 out of the 3 batteries I ordered and paid for because of their mistake and am yet to get a clear answer as to if they are still even intending to pick up the incorrect batteries and send me the correct ones. It is honestly proving to be both frustrating and extremely disappointing dealing with these guys. It is growingly doubtful that I will see the correct items anytime soon, if at all.
When is a warranty not a warranty
I purchased a Renegade Industrial Pedestal Fan from Trade Tools.
The Fan parts:
It has a Motor, Fan Blade, front & rear protective Grills, a Base, Power cord and Switch.
Here is the list of the parts that the warranty card excludes & does not cover:
Plastic movable or removable parts, Motor, Fan Blade, Grills, Base, Power cord & Switch.
Now this means that the entire fan is excluded. It also states that it not covered for commercial use.
The only thing that isn't excluded from the warranty is the cardboard carton that it came in.
I have had warranty issues with this company before and its like getting blood out of a stone to get a refund or replacement even if the tool has not been used. ...Example: A couple of years ago I purchased a Touch-up spray gun from them and it was broken in the box, and they did not want to replace it even though it was quite obvious that it had not been used. From my experiences, well, lets just say that one way or another returning faulty products to a Trade Tools store inevitably always turns into an argument with staff. Also, I don't know why they call themselves "Trade Tools" because 99% of their Tools are only warrantied for domestic home use and specifically state that their warranties do not cover their tools if they are used commercially.
