I did not bother waiting for these two quotes and chose Transcorp for 2 reasons. 1) A professional, detailed and transparent quote. 2) A number of follow ups from a courteous and personable Sales Rep/Relocation Specialist named Lilianne.
On the day of the pickup, I was called by one of the 2 men stating that they were early. I responded that I was not far away. When I arrived at the pickup site, I was warmly greeted by 2 men. From pick up to drop off, the 2 men were awesome. The collaboration, teamwork and banter between us, including the owner of the item I bought from, his son and myself, was electric. We problem solved the challenge of moving an awkward and heavy pair of structures. End to End of 1 hr. If only every experience was as good as this!
Transcorp Removals did a fantastic job from start to finish. They provided boxes to help me pack, carefully removed and stored my furniture and belongings so I could have my floorboards sanded and polished, and then returned everything in perfect condition. Don’t risk using this company – I booked this company 3 weeks before a scheduled move. I have a daughter with a disability and I had a compression fracture in my spine from a fall. arrived but times weren’t mentioned. I sent an email to point this out. Further email received, confirming times. Red flags already. On the scheduled day of the move…..they don’t turn up. No communication. I had to ring. Apparently truck broken down but driver hadn’t bothered to tell head office. No idea when replacement truck will arrive. No apologies, no compassion. Caused an enormous amount of stress. I cancelled all bookings and found another removalist who came within the hour, thank goodness. Would give zero stars if I could.

Transcorp Excels Again – This 2nd move by Transcorp, moving ⅔ of contents of our 5-bedroom home to our new home. The 3-man team worked really well, 1 person packing, 2 people moving. The guys worked tirelessly having only a couple of short breaks showing the highest level of care for our furniture and belongings; there was nothing damaged, broken or lost. Huge thanks.

Very disappointed! – When I booked Transcorp I was very specific in ensuring they were available to move us the first move of the day. I confirmed 24hrs before the move that they would arrive at 8am the following day. My husband received a text later in the morning confirming their arrival for 8am the following day. arrive until midday. We were furious and despite our desperate attempts to have it changed they would not budge. We do not like using tired removalists.
As we were only moving 4 houses away my husband and I moved every box, 2 x dining table, 2 x tv unit, tv’s, 2 x bookcases and 2 x coffee tables the morning before they arrived at 12:30pm. The removalists asked us whether we wanted them to walk our goods or truck them. We said “whatever is quicker”. The outsourced drivers then quizzed us on what we’ve paid for and it was my understanding that the minimum charge was 4hrs so I said “don’t take longer than 4hrs”.
With only 5 x beds, 5 x lounges, 5 x bedsides, a fridge and washing machine to move...3hrs and 45mins later they were done! THEY WERE SO SLOW!
The written invoice then confirmed their minimum charge is 2hrs but of course we were charged for the entire time they were there. We feel totally ripped off and somewhat conned by the removalists so they could get their 4hr fee.
The after sales service is TERRIBLE.

Safely moved heavy merbau timber items from storage to start the day.
Organised boxes and furniture placement at drop off to enable easy unpacking. Protected new timber floors at drop off. Eric and the boys then helped to reassemble bunk bed and basketball ring in 15mins rather than us taking 2 plus hours on these heavy/difficult items.

Exceptionally efficient, well priced and careful removalists – We had a very large move consisting of a two bd house and two 27 m2 storage units in Mordialloc coming together in a 2 storey house in Dingley Village. They were very careful with all our furniture and 100 boxes and even took everything to the desired locations in the house’s upper and lower levels. No breakages or damage to anything. We would highly recommend Transcorp to anybody who is moving house. Florence and JC in the office organised everything for us and sent the best team of men to carry out the move and made it a stress free experience from beginning to end.
