Tick the Box Tour of China
We just completed a ten day TripADeal tour of China and wouldn’t rate it highly for a memorable trip to China. If you just want to tick off bucket list items such as seeing The Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors, then you will probably think this tour is a bargain. But if you want to spend quality time experiencing the wonders of China, you may be disappointed.
The “hard sell” visits to various factories (jade, silk, tea) are allocated far more time than any of the genuine sight seeing items, say 2 hours in a factory compared with 30 mi...Read more
nutes in a Museum containing world class artefacts. Because of these selling opportunities, the itinerary is jam packed so you can be out of the hotel by 8am and not return until 9 or 11pm at night, squeezing a snack in between. I imagined delicious dinners of Chinese food but in fact ate more junk food (Maccas etc) than I’d ever consume in my normal life. Eating a meal at regular times just didn’t seem to be a priority, hence sometimes you were running on empty or grabbing a fast food snack whenever the opportunity presented itself. Being on a tour is always going to be regimented, but be prepared for a large tour group (average 38 people), and 23 other TripADeal buses as well as others, all turning up to every stop, making for daily long periods of queuing, processing and booking into the various places of interest. There is a lot of standing around, each and every day. Towards the end of the trip it resembled an endurance test rather than a holiday. On the plus side, the Tour Guides were personable and informative .Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

No frills travelling
I guess you get what you pay for but my first trip to Croatia with Tripadeal will be my last. The hotels were good but we always ended up with the less favourable rooms e.g. no view or very small. Apart from several two hour city tours we had no travel guide and were often confused about the itinerary. I was amazed when there was no information given regarding a 3 hour bushwalking trek. Most people were over 60 years old and there were no strategies in place should anyone have become ill or had an injury. The bus driver told us not to ask questions of him as he was a driver and not a guide
In my opinion this company needs to consider their duty of care to their customers as I can foresee a critical incident if their practises don't improve

Very poor coach tour experience
Nth American & Caribbean trip 2019. Everything was good until the coach tour. Much to complain about but price gouging on sights & poorly arranged accommodation resulting in hours of sightseeing lost.

Good trip to china
Went on the 12 day trip, just returned. Our hotels were excellent but be warned. 1st day to forbidden city etc. Bkft at 7.30 but lunch not till 3pm. Most of our tour were wilting thro lack of food. You leave hotel at 8am and do not return till 6 or 7pm. Long days. If you don't take optional tours then you are just left where bus parked. Otherwise tour is worth the money.

Hoodwinked On Airline
The original iNDIA offer was air travel by Qantas, Emirates, Singapore or Southern China. Surprise surprise - we got tickets on Southern China - the worst airline in the world. I feel hoodwinked into this airline because if you advertised Southern China nobody in their right minds would book with you. Seat did not go back, screen did not work, could not get a Gin &Tonic, two wines on offer red and white which tasted like battery acid, and was undrinkable. Food terrible. Hosties rude and abrupt, service terrible, long and tortuous transit in Gu...Read more
anzhou - had to go through x rays etc etc all over again. Internal flights on Indigo had 15kgms baggage limit not advertised by you - tickets supplied on arrival in India - whereas international flights allowance was 20 kgnms. Ended up having to pay A$88 overweight fee twice. One Indigo flight was delayed 6 hours (airline renamed Indi no go)which meant we arrived at into the Oberoi Dehli at 10pm - too late to enjoy the hotel as we had to check out at 8:30 the next morning.Similar opinion? Be Aware
We have just returned from a 12 day two for one Tripadeal to China. I am not one to write reviews but feel compelled to for this one.
$3000 for two people for a 10 day trip to China (the other two days were flying days) is very cheap when it includes Qantas return flights and all accommodation.
The fine print in terms and conditions states that Tripadeal is not responsible for any seating allocations. We were not booked to sit together on the flight over or any of the train journeys. There is no way you can change this. They simply book a block...Read more

China trip
Just returned from 12 day China trip. Great value for money even with all the extra trips on top that are meant to be optional but are not really. Hotel standards were pretty good even if a little far out. Guess thats how they keep it so cheap. Really felt the guides gave you the essence of China in everywhere we went. They were well organised and very willing to help. Maybe a little training on dealing with sick travellers would not go astray though. We had a sick family from the start and they made everyone sick on the bus . Some terribly so they had to miss days . Maybe have some masks on hand and compulsory hand sanitiser in and off the bus would minimise everyones holiday being wrecked.

Sri Lanka Maldives trip
Just returned from a Tripadeal Sri Lanka and Maldives 14 day trip from Adelaide.
The Visa cost about $100 more than stated and because of the group booking we were unable to select seats, even paying extra, on the two 10 hour legs. Other than this the booking process was good.
Problems began on arrival in Sri Lanka. There were 40 in our group, not the "maximum of 20" advertised.
We arrived in Sri Lanka at 10 PM. There were 6 people who had booked upgraded accommodation. They were dropped off first, a long way from our hotel, then we had to retu...Read more

How did everyone get such good response from Trip A Deal? I've emailed numerous times and get no where, just the usual response we will get back to you closer to the time you're due to travel, guess what!!!, I've heard nothing and our trip was the beginning of November, no offer, no nothing and every time I email, the same response we will get back to you as soon as we can. Covid has been around since February, we are now in November, Ive been emailing on and off over that whole time so don't understand these positive reviews.
