Bali full day traditional tour
We booked this tour from Sydney purely on reviews, we were picked up at our hotel as arranged on time the amazing Ketut guided us through and also took great photos highly recommended
Prepare yourself for some of the most stunning scenery you'll ever see.
Magestic Scandinavia in August 2019.....
We had a group of 38 which I feel was a bit too many. Although, it was a fantastic group of people and I came away with some great new friends.
There were some very long travelling days and towards the end it was evident people were getting restless & frustrated by this. We spent a night at a ski resort in Gol which had amenities that everyone was looking forward to using & a chance to finally relax but we got in way too late to enjoy them.
We had forced rotation for the bus seats which was a bit we...ird. I've never experienced anything like that before, where you're told what seat to sit in but I've never travelled in such a big group either so maybe this is common. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was very eager to share his knowledge these countries with us.
Excellent tour guides and bus driver
Very happy trying to please everyone going out of there way to help
Accommodation most of it was good a couple second rate
Very rushed trip but saw a lot in 9 days
Extremely hot in August
Overall would love to do another trip a deal
Balkans and Beyond - September/October 2017
Flights: Left from Melbourne with Emirates good flights with minimal stopovers.
Accommodation: Hotels were changed when we received our final documentation about 3 weeks before we left so looking up previously advised hotels was a waste of time. Bucharest Marriott was 5 star and well located. Brasov Hotel Belvedere was a poor hotel choice lucky if 2.5 stars; it was out of town with lots of steep stairs to carry your luggage, would not recommend. Vienna Hotel Regina 3.5 star centrally located next to the Votive Church. We were given an atti...c room with views across the city. Prague Hotel Mucha 3.5 stars a quirky family-run hotel within walking distance of the old town. Cruise: Amadeus Royal about 3.5-star ship. We had a cabin on Haydn Deck expecting a panoramic window BUT got a small window which you could not see out of level with the water!! Cabins were small but comfortable. Recommend paying extra and getting a cabin with a balcony. Public areas were fine. Staff members were wonderful and lots of other friendly travellers!! Dining: Included meals on the cruise were excellent with wine (plenty of it) at lunch and dinner. Catered really well to allergies and the staff were fantastic. Hotel breakfasts were good with plenty of choices. Only disappointment was the farewell dinner in Prague terrible food and no cultural show as advertised. Touring: Great range of excursions included with ample free time at the beginning of the trip. Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Prague were too rushed and we only got a glimpse of what was on offer. Unfortunately, our cruise was delayed on the Danube (not TAD fault) so we ended up going to some extra villages BUT missed out on time in Prague.
Vietnam & Cambodia.. fantastic !
Absolutely fabulous trip ! Restful days in scenically beautiful Halong Bay, tasty coffee, 50c beers, cheap tailors and lanterns in Hoi An, markets in Ho Chi Minh city and the heart-wrenching, but fascinating, history of Cambodia.
Add to that the incredible Angkor Wat and Pub Street in Siem Reap .. what a perfect holiday !
Loved every minute. Well organised, good value trip.
Thank you TripADeal
Peru and Galapagos Islands tour 21 days
This trip delivered more than we expected. Some additional inclusions were given that were not in the itinerary which was most welcome ie a tour of the Charles Darwin research centre on Santa Cruz and a couple of lunches on the Galapagos Island leg. We were very happy with the location of accommodation as it was always central to shops / restaurants and general sites of interest. All the flights and transfers went smoothly on this trip and there were many international and internal flights, however a couple of the connecting transfers were 'tig...ht'. The tour leaders were well informed and very helpful and passionate about helping us have an amazing experience. We knew there were optional tours (not included) which we did and enjoyed, perhaps a recommendation in the itinerary would be to give an estimate of the cost of these extras so people knew what to budget for. Occasionally we felt a little pressured into tipping drivers, guides etc however we have experienced this in all parts of the world with many tour companies so in the end, it's really up to individuals to make a personal decision on whether one considers the services deserve tipping. It's entirely individual. This was our first trip with trip a deal and would use them again.
Exceptional value flr money
Just returned from 12day china with warriors tour basic tour price 999 was exceptional for all that was included optional tours seemed overpriced compared to doing them yourself hotels were great for the price out a little fro. Main areas but taxi is very cheap and in all honesty days are so fully packed and exhausting with a lot of walking that all we wanted to do was have dinner and crawl into bed ready to start the next day well organised most guides were fabulous best was lilly her warmth and humour was infectious highly recommend
11 day Warriors of China
I have returned from the 11 Days Warriors of China tours which was extremely good value. The flights on China Eastern were very good. The ground content was very well organised, saw a lot in a very short period of time and guides were excellent. During the tour we visited the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. We were told this was a government owned outlet and everything sold in the shop was authentic and good quality. We were advise if one purchased from street vendors the products were inferior. We purchased a set of small statues...which cost AUD200.00 from the museum. I was assured that the clay figures had been fired and would be packed securely. The goods were not packed in our presence. When opening the box on our return home some of the figures were broken. I feel that the figures may have been broken when placed in the box. Also the clay figures had not been fired. This is of a great concern as Biosecurity laws in australia do not allow unfired clay to be bought into Australia. I would strongly suggest that one does not purchase anything from the government stores as they are far more expensive than what can be purchased on the streets and I do not believe the products are of better value.
CHINA June 2019.
This trip was absolutely amazing couldn’t have done it better. It was extremely well organised. Excursions were amazing with plenty of time. Air travel was better than expected and the hotels were good. Well exceeded what I was expecting. Would definitely do another Trip A Desl. Our tour guides (especially Bill) made our trip. Wonderful!
15 day china with Xi'an upgrade
Our first stop was Hainan Island for 3 days - first problem was arriving at 6am in morning and not being able to get into our room until after midday. It was hot and humid and we were all asked to wait in a conference room with only some water to drink. The hotel was lovely but too far from anywhere we had to eat at hotel or get a taxi into the city centre. From the island it was then non stop - arriving at hotels late at night and leaving early morning with little chance of relaxing. After breakfast you were lucky to get anything to eat un...til late afternoon and depending what time you arrived at hotel no tea. Most of our tour guides were great apart from one who tried to make us feel guilty about not going on a tour - kept telling us he would get the sack if we didn't partake in tour. Hainan airlines changed our flight home so we had an extra flight to Xi'an where were supposed to go to their transit desk and get transferred to hotel. Fortunately for us there was a young english speaking chinese guy who ended up translating for us or we would have been spending the night at the airport. We finally arrived at hotel around 1.30am. Then told we had to pay for breakfast but not told when the breakfast finished. Many of us missed out on breakfast as they were cleaning up at 9am and what was left was very unappetising. This stopover added an extra 4 hrs onto our flight home. We would have enjoyed trip more if there had been a couple of free days added, instead of the 3 days at the start of the trip.

Be aware if buying Apple IPhone we should have been told by trip a deal or their China guides unable to sign into apple
Trip was fantastic couldn’t knock it, would holiday again with trip a deal. Not happy being told that iPhone I purchased would be ok in Australia only to find couldn’t access apple account so iPhone is useless to me even though I paid $600 not happy.
not told how much walking. I had a walking stick but had to hire wheelchair couple times. Should be told that the forbidden city and Tiananmen Square is a 7 kilometor walk. Vicki MacMurray
Wonderful trip to China
We have just returned from a 12day 2for1deal in China. We enjoyed our time, and would recommend it. It is a very good way of seeing all the different attractions that you need to do the optional tours are definitely worth it now these do cost but really none are that expensive just make sure you take the money for them in RMB because we were told we could take it in Australian money but they do add the exchange rate for each one and that adds up just be prepared. Make sure you always get some fruit or something to eat while you're on excursion...s because they don't go to the shop but we took our own coffee flasks and coffee and and each day we always had food and drinks from. Supermarket stops we took great advantage of. We walked plenty but loved everyday. Plenty of water supplied each day. Recommend this love fast train opportunity to relax. You can also choose to take something from the breakfast table and eat that for lunch. Just give some thought and it will be a good time.
TripADeal 2 for 1 China
Just returned from 12 day tripadeal China tour. Can I just say, so much more then expected. 2 out of 3 guides were excellent. The 3rd I would say was a newbie starting out. Still, ok. Paying the price we paid room expectations were low. However they would be a 4 star. A few little things but not worth mentioning. The tours at times felt like a sell fest, but, didn't have ti buy and the sales pitches were informative not only about the products, also the local area and history...and funny. Food inexpensive and guides suggested different rest...aurants. So loads of choice. The group we were touring withwere all strangers. We ended up having so much fun, everyone was helpful, friendly and very comfortable to hang with. Beautiful country and cities. Extra tours available on free days. Definitely recommend. The hardest part of the whole trip...arranging the visa. 2.5 hour wait to lodge paperwork then back 7 days later to pick up passport.
Trip a deal China
Very well organised, the guide was fantastic. We will be using them again next year. Fantastic time
No unexpected fees
Never wanted to cancel our booking. Was very excited about the trip
You get what you pay for
2 for 1 China 9 day tour
Yes there is the visa cost, the additional $150 tax and the $12 per person per day guide fee, but still makes it an affordable trip. With the above in mind we had LOW expectations but have returned from a great trip.
Hotels were good but as other reviews state they can be in isolated locations. Itinerary so full there really wasn't time for this to be a problem.
Treat the constant visits to state run: silk factory, jade factory, tea shop, Chinese medicine facility etc as amusement !! As long as you say NO to sales pit...

1760-8 Day 2 for 1 Japan Itinerary Extension
This is a wonderful way to see the highlights of Japan.
Not having dealt with TripADeal before, we were unsure of how comfortable and secure we would be.
All fears were removed when we met our fantastic guide Cindy Furukawa whom made us feel part of her family. Cindy explained every part of the tour in detail from the accommodation of that night to sights and history of each place the tour visited.
Japan' beautiful people are respectful, patient and courteous. The country we saw was clean, splendid scenery, amazing historic buildings mixed with...
Beware of all the walking
10 days taste of Taiwan. I am actually still on the trip. The only free evening so I thought I would give a review.
Firstly all hotels have been excellent. Unlike China many Taiwanese speak English. They are the kindest and most helpful people I have come across in all my travels. This is one country that welcomes you with a smile. Perhaps being a new destination for westerners they haven't had a chance to get sick of tourists.
Now this trip. If you don't mind walking and there is allot especially up steps this trip is for you. It's a beautifu...
Enjoyed the trip.
Not long ago returned from a 10 day trip to china. We had a great trip with an excellent group. Who understood value for money. Hotels mostly great. A bit far out of main areas but that's to be expect when u pay a low price for a trip. Only downside was the Zoo. It was a disgrace. If u love animals don't go to it. We had two very good guides who went out of their way to please. Thank u Tripadeal. Would use them again.
Great trip but beware
Great trip. Interesting country. Comfortable hotels with western toilets and good breakfasts.
Lots of additional fees after booking as day trips were all but obligatory and were extra. These day trips were interesting and of a broad range. Most did include being taken to places where we were given talks about the advantages of buying a variety of goods eg silks, pearls, green tea, herbal medicines, jade, Terra-cotta Warriors.
The guides varied in ability. Celery in Saigon was amazingly good and of the highest standard.
Jo jo in Beijing ...

Want to know if anyone on Tripadeal 50day world trip (Was to depart Sept 2020) have had a favourable return of funds?
How did everyone get such good response from Trip A Deal? I've emailed numerous times and get no where, just the usual response we will get back to you closer to the time you're due to travel, guess what!!!, I've heard nothing and our trip was the beginning of November, no offer, no nothing and every time I email, the same response we will get back to you as soon as we can. Covid has been around since February, we are now in November, Ive been emailing on and off over that whole time so don't understand these positive reviews.
