Went to the Texas Grill, Wests, Mayfield NSW last night for the first, and last, time.
Staff were pleasant and attentive, so no complaints there. The menu wasn’t all that comprehensive for a steakhouse, making choices difficult for some of our group (13). The 10oz rib eye was said to be medium, but came out with no colour in it and would be classified anywhere else as medium/well. The three people who ordered the chicken waited so long for their meal that by the time they got the meal, everyone else had finished eating.
All in all not a great night, and, in my opinion, overpriced. Steak $36, half rack $35.

My wife and I stayed at the Little National Hotel Canberra. Appalling room design and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.
Access to the bed was from one side only, not from the end other side of the bed.great for singles and perhaps young couples.
No phone connection to reception, a very small screen for accessing information however at 2% charge not workable.
No heating in the bathroom in Canberra in winter unacceptable.
Meals not available at all so you go to an affiliate property opposite, when full your have to fend fo yourself.

I have found TripAdviser to be one of the best tools for my travel needs however I am going to give them a 3 star as trying to edit, delete ore change a review is like getting hens teeth pulled. TripAdviser needs to make their editing process much easier and put the control into the users hands and stop being such control freaks. They could learn a lot from this product reviews website.

First of all I am enthusiastic contributor to TripAdvisor, and have been for many years, and I don't go anywhere without reading their reviews especially for accommodation.
Never before have I used TripAdvisor actually to BOOK accommodation through them... until recently. We recently booked a villa in Bali through them a couple of months in advance of our proposed travel. Having done this we then booked our flights, etc..
Some 2 weeks before departure we received notification from TripAdvisor which said 'Your booking has been cancelled' and...
