Another Greedy Company Driven by Profit
It is a sad world where respected household names such as Tupperware have resorted to profit over service. It is obvious that you now wish to discourage customers who may wish to make a warranty claim, therefore reducing your costs and increasing your revenue.
Unfortunately there is a new generation of “business” people who are driven by profit alone. They care nothing for long term customers who along with their parents gladly paid a premium for a perceived premium product and the warranty associated with it.
Tupperware, it is obvious th...at you do not want to continue the personal service offered by your representatives, which will result in less contact with existing long term loyal customers. Any person with an inkling of business acumen will tell you that it is much harder to find a new customer than it is to keep an existing customer. Perhaps Tupperware, you need to learn this lesson first hand? In summary, Tupperware had an enviable point of difference that many people considered worthwhile paying the extra for, sadly this point of difference has now been eliminated.
I have been using and buying Tupperware for thirty years and often had items replaced without any fuss or bother. I have never been told not to put lids in the dishwasher. So apart from not being able to claim for that reason I couldn't find the mold number for the item I want replaced. I intended to purchase a large quantity of pantry storage to match what I have now but I won't be. I can find the similiar products in the supermarket. Years ago I remember giving my consultant a container that needed replacing and even though it was not available anymore I was given a substitute item that the consultant delivered to my door. That is service! Tupperware you have made a poor decision in changing your warranty system.
Delivery fee will cost Tupperware the loss of regular clients
Yes, I too have decided that I will no longer purchase Tupperware due to the new warranty process. I have a couple of cracked lids, but I guess they will be going in the bin now. I have begun replacing my pantry storage modular mates with the half price deals available at my local supermarket. I think this is the beginning of the end for Tupperware. It was only the promise of the lifetime warranty that has kept me as a purchaser for the past 40 years, paying very high prices.
Tupperware is rubbish
After all the expense of posting containers back because lids wouldn't stay on, Tupperware sent me new replacements but I had to pay postage - again! After a few months lids don't stay on new containers. In my opinion and from experience Tupperware is expensive rubbish and I'll never buy another piece of it. Storage containers from supermarket are 1/4 price and last much longer. Wish I hadn't bothered with the so-called lifetime warranty.
No more lifetime warranty it seems.....
Have always loved tupperware in the past, have bought A LOT of it. (I'm sure lots of us have spent thousands on the stuff...modular mates pantry anyone??) I have always justified the ridiculous cost with the "lifetime warranty".... Went to a party this afternoon, which was lovely, consultant was great. She explained damaged items cant be returned to a consultant anymore. It must be done online. That's fine. Spent $125 -easliy done on tupperware. Went home and began the process. Email back straight away- Out of nine damaged items I had ...to return, four were rejected outright, and the other five "required further investigation". I have to return these items to Tupperware- at my expense , and if they reject my claim, this is the best part....they keep the items and recycle them!!! I feel so sorry for their lovely consultants. This is so unfair to them. Save your money people! Tupperware has officially become a con!
Shocking customer service
Scariest customer service I've come across. Rude and unhelpful. Takes forever and lots of follow ups to get any response. Think I have purchased my last piece too.
Making a replacement claim for older Tupperware microwave jug and lid.
New system - I have to pay for replacement postage.
This contravenes, in my opinion the previous written life time warranty guarantee given at time of purchase, where no mention of any costs to me, should a replacement be required, was stated. Not only will I not pay anything towards 'free replacement' to which I am am entitled as implied at time of purchase,
I will be taking this up with Consumer Affairs.
I will also be spending the $150 destined for Tupperware, on ...
Not Fair Tupperware - you should pay the postage fees
have been a Tupperware queen for about 30 years, saved up all my replacements for next Tupperware party, I went along - to be told by the demonstrator its all on line now - go to the website and lodge on line...... I had 15 items to return, all were approved by Tupperware. they requested me to post back to them - to which I did, cost me $12.00 to post, all items approved were same replaced in weight and measurements, then I had to pay another $26.40 to have them posted back to me - I'm out of pocket nearly $40.00 to get my items back - very un...fair - I even asked for them to be put in my order from the party I went to - no we can't do that, already paid another $3.00 processing fee to put in an order at a party - lodged complaint with ACCC and they advise they are recording conduct of this company, and I can apply for payment under protest.... they have had numerous complaints regarding this. May need to get on to social media and push back on this one to TUPPERWARE - very UNFAIR for consumer to pay the postage BOTH WAYS...............................
Tupperware-Not even 1 star!!
I loved Tupperware for their products and was happy to pay more for their "lifetime warranty" and "Free" replacement of products that are worn, torn or damaged. Last month I claimed 11 items one of them was a lunchbox, and after one month I received the items and the lunchbox is only the base without the lid when there was no option to choose one without the other; the photo of the product showed the complete container (box and lid). In addition, I spent $26.00 plus GST delivery fees...so much for their Free Replacement Policy!!! This is Tupper...ware's way of stopping customers claim damaged items and dihonouring the LIfetime Warranty Term. I will not buy Tupperware products again because it is cheaper to throw away damaged items and buy other good brands from stores that would cost less without the delivery fee.
Product is great. Person selling it ..terrible.
My daughter hosted a party in October. Tupperware rep. Was untidy, unapologetically late showed product in corner when open space provided. No contact details on sales slip and no delivery date given. Although our payments were taken immediately from bank, our products were not delivered until after several calls, texts and messages later, my daughter went and picked up the order herself and delivered to people over six weeks later, driving from Drouin to Colac Vic. 4 hour return trip or we may still be waiting and the order was a large order in...deed. So the Tupperware person already had her money from sales but couldn't be bothered delivering. Thanks Immogen Barby for your bad Tupperware experience, will think twice next time, and glad I never booked a party with her.
Tupperware's warranty costs $8 minimum in shipping
For years Tupperware have espoused they guarantee a FREE replacement for any damaged, broken or worn Tupperware. Now the only way to get a 'free' replacement is to pay a minimum of $8 for shipping a replacement to you. That's a very convenient way to stop consumers from claiming their 'guaranteed replacement'. Very stingy Tupperware, very stingy!
Free replacement items under lifetime guarantee now much harder to get and old contracts not being h
Beware when buying Tupperware - their old promise of just giving your cracked and broken Tupperware to a representative to have it replaced at no cost at all, as was the case for any bought before March this year, is no longer being honoured.
They want to charge you for the postage for the replacement pieces - totally at odds with the terms and Conditions that we all bought under prior to March this year.
Tuppeware failure. Zero stars
Zero star rating for service, honesty and integrity.
Like so many people we have a cupboard full of Tupperware, When it fails to seal or it breaks or whatever the problem, one expects the "lifetime warranty" to be honoured.
The service department in Western Australia has been closed. It seems that the service has also been closed.
Coming up to three months we have been waiting for one lid to be replaced.

Finally the clincher. "Th...
I love some, I hate some
Some Tupperware I love, Fridgesmarts - great, slice/cake containers, freezer wares, modular mates, sandwich keepers, all fantastic, but then there is the issue of BPA in their clearmates, rock n serves, microwave jug etc and it puts a bad taste in my mouth. I also have had a problem of the drink bottle lids popping when driving up a mountain and in warm weather which has lead to leaks. Another practicality issue is that they make fantastic sandwich keepers but not a lunch box that will take the sandwich keeper and a piece of fruit etc, they on...ly make the cooler bag types which are messy and don't protect the fruit. Most items seal great, modular mates are fantastic, Fridgesmarts save me money BPA in products, faulty drink bottle lids and lacking practicality in some items
