Used to be worth the cost
I never used to mind paying the high cost of Tupperware knowing that I could claim on the lifetime warranty when it broke (which is very common!) I will not ever buy it again now that you are expected to process the warranty claim online and are expected to pay ridiculous amounts in postage. There are many other products available now that are just as good a quality at a fraction of the cost.
Purchased at Tupperware.

The price doesn’t reflect the quality! Arctic Large Serving Centre Review
I was wanting a dip and serve tray for ages, after lots of searching I found the Tupperware Arctic Large Serving Centre & thought it was perfect & although it was expensive, I thought, my past Tupperware items were great quality, so the high amount will be reflective in the product!!! Upon receiving it, I was highly disappointed...it seems to be a really cheap plastic/material used, not like the previous ones made, as I’ve seen older ones like this, which are much better quality! The concept is great, but the dip lid was near impossible to get ...
Read moreon!! And the cover, barely holds...meaning if you transport it, good luck with the serving tray lid and the contents inside, actually staying in!!! I would have thought with the price tag, that it would have been great quality and made better!!! I just appears that the quality has gone down but the price is still high!! I don’t mind paying for great quality...but Tupperware...you charge exorbitant amounts, but your quality isn’t like it use to be!!!Purchased in April 2020 for $74.00.
Replacements
I was at a Tupperware party on August 18, where I took some items for replacement. I AM STILL WAITING.
The consultant is Annie Shearer from Albury, the last time I spoke to her she said it could take a couple of months. I believe there are still outstanding items from a party a couple of weeks before . It is now three months. I have containers in my pantry with plastic bags in them, and also two that need total replacement. How much longer?

Disappointed customer
Why did tupperware get rid if the round lettuce container. I was recently sold the fridge container to hold lettuce. You have to break it up to put in container & the ends go brown. I would be better going to Coles for the round one.The mystery pack was disappointing. I rcvd 4 drink bottles. I had already purchased 2 drink bottles at the same party, sharing 2 with somebody else as I didnt need the 4 that came in a pack. I now have 6 drink bottles. I also rcvd a small round container with juicer, grater etc. No instructions, whats the grater for, it doesnt grate onion.

Unhappy customer
When I bought my Tupperware if a problem it was returned to a dealer to be returned for a lifetime replacement. Now they change the rules, very disappointed in this new rule.
I live very close to Loganholme Tupperware is it possible to make a delivery to there with several pieces of my broken unuseable pieces of Tupperware.
Thanking you for your assistance.

Not what it used to be
Had some Modular Mate lids to be replaced. I was not impressed at having to pay for postage to send them to Tupperware. Also, in the past they used to have a lot of old stock suitable for replacement. Now my Modular Mates colour is unavailable and goodness knows what I would get instead. I have decided to source replacements from overseas where the range is better. Tupperware Australia were not helpful with their 'take it or leave it attitude' and the cost of the products is very high. It's sad to see a good company sunk so low.

Snails Pace Replacement
Being a fan of Tupperware for decades and having a pantry that looks like a Tupperware catalogue. For the 1st time after many years I finally decided to replace a number of the failing lids and claim on the lifetime warranty offered with Tupperware. Online, yep, made this easy or so I thought.
Only being able to add 1 line at a time for the same product too clunky and slow, I lost my claim list during this process as I don't believe I was able to save my list only to have to start again. Also some on my Lifetime Warranty items were no longer a...

So disappointed
I purchased the water bottle and container set at a friend's online party. After growing up with Tupperware I knew it was a good product, that lasts, so I was excited to get my order. However the containers don't close properly, the lids have changed shape despite only hand washing and 2 of the 4 bottles leak. I won a prize at the online party which I also never received. Am so dissapointed with the purchase and wish I had kept my money.

Replacement/warranty
I was surprised to learn that Tupperware don't provide replacement for all products. I had 2 items that were damaged after a few years use - just through use and they aren't being replaced. I only have a couple of Tupperware items but disappointed that they don't have longer warranty periods

6502 Ultra Pro Large Rect Cover Cosmos Charcoal
We purchased this item with the oven dish, we were advised that this oven set was high quality and totally oven proof. We had used the combination of the dish & lid together in the oven for roasting on several occasions with no issue. We used the lid for roasting vegetables in the oven at 200c and smelt a burning smell coming from the oven. When we opened the oven black smoke enveloped the kitchen. The lid 'welded’ itself to the bottom of the oven and the vegetables were scorched by the molten Tupperware. We made a claim to Tupperware regarding...
Read more this issue and they have dismissed it. Apart from the fact that the expensive ULTRA PRO lid is completely deformed our oven's interior has been damaged by the molten Tupperware. The item was not as stated and the warranty service is poor.MK1Perth, WA

Must be a breach of consumer law?!
My review is similar to others where I've been using Tupperware for many years, and spent a good few thousand dollars over those years. Unfortunately it seems the more recent products are of a lower standard and gone are the days of it lasting for years. My last 3 purchases have needed to be returned through the consultant and my most recent purchase, the same. Now with the change of process where you have to send the faulty products at your own cost and with the inconvenience of going to the post office which is far from ideal, why is it sudde...
Read morenly ok for customers to pay postage fees? It seems from a profit perspective on their returns, Tupperware will do well out of this change, as I don't have the time to get to a PO during their opening hours to stand in queues. Nor do I think it's fair the customer pays for this in their own time and dollars. Feedback from others also indicates they are rejecting replacing the items. Unfortunately it seems they will lose out on future business as I certainly won't be buying any more from them. I don't understand why they think this change is reasonable and as far as I'm concerned they have sold their product to me with a 'false' warranty which surely is breaching consumer law? Well done Tupperware, you just lost a long standing and once faithful customer.SelineMelbourne

Tupperware Beware
I bought Tupperware for years because even though their products break, they always promoted their life time warranty. In the past I have given my broken items (mainly the lunchbox lids) to a demonstrator and they were always replaced. Mind you, I had to either wait for someone to have a Tupperware party or try and find a representative myself, which I never did. Also I had a demonstrator tell me once that people often feel guilty when they try and claim the warranty at a party, so they end up buying more products at a party to compensate!! A...
Read morenyway in 2015, (I waited for the next party), a lunchbox lid and base (which was 2 years old) broke and the demonstrator said I had to make the claim online. When I went online, the website said I had to return the items at my own cost for Tupperware to assess and then they would decide on my claim, but I should note that if it did not meet their warranty standards, they would not return my items! I was appalled by this! They were going to take my items and there is a chance they wouldn't honour the warranty AND not return the broken items??! I rang customer service and they said because I only had 3 items they would honour the warranty without the need to send the broken items to them. She said that the website says this to ensure that people don't dishonestly claim products. Tupperware, wouldn't it be easier to give the faulty item to a demonstrator to ensure there is no dishonesty and also avoid the $8 delivery fee?? Anyway, I paid the $8 and received the products about 4 weeks later. I would certainly not buy Tupperware again and am hoping that the replacements I received don't break as it would not be worth spending another $8. It is far better to buy the cheap ones that the kids will love and buy them new ones when they eventually break.MarianneSydney, NSW

They DO break and Tupperware ignore emails so replacement policy is useless
I have several pieces of Tupperware and most of them are okay. However, two pieces from the same set I bought approximately 3 years old cracked. They were not treated roughly, were not dropped, were rarely used in the freezer or microwave (rated suitable for both). I suspect they were from a faulty batch.
I wrote several times to Australian Tupperware asking them to stand by their promise to replace broken Tupperware but they didn't bother to respond.
Had Tupperware bothered to acknowledge me this review could have been different.
Quite solid
Expensive, does break, Tupperware do not respond to emails and fail to make good on their claim of replacements

I love some, I hate some
Some Tupperware I love, Fridgesmarts - great, slice/cake containers, freezer wares, modular mates, sandwich keepers, all fantastic, but then there is the issue of BPA in their clearmates, rock n serves, microwave jug etc and it puts a bad taste in my mouth. I also have had a problem of the drink bottle lids popping when driving up a mountain and in warm weather which has lead to leaks. Another practicality issue is that they make fantastic sandwich keepers but not a lunch box that will take the sandwich keeper and a piece of fruit etc, they on...

I never use anything but water in my water bottle. It pops because heat expands both the water and the air in the bottle.
Read morevels (the amount of BPA contamination to food) is within regulatory guidelines, however, some countries have banned BPA altogether finding that there was no such thing as safe levels.
