Blocked from part payments option - platinum customer. WT?
I discovered a few weeks ago that I have been blocked from the part payment option. If I want to purchase from TVSN, I now have to pay in full. Let it be known that I have not missed one single payment!! Called customer care a couple of times . First time , the helpful customer care rep couldn’t understand why I had been blocked . She sent a query to the accounts department to rectify. Last night ( more than a week later), I was still blocked. Called CS and got a rather ‘well scripted robot ‘ on the line who could not have cared less if she h...ad tried. She sounded as if she was suffering from a superiority complex. Couldn’t give me an answer as to why accounts had blocked me from part payments and had zero interest in trying to find out the answer for me. I persisted. Got an email from [Name Removed] in the accounts department this morning stating that as I have current part payments on 10 orders, I can no longer use part payments until ALL orders have been paid and he stated this was according to TVSN’s schedule . What schedule ? I have had way more than 10 orders going at once and never have I been blocked from part payments because I have more than 10 orders . So where is this schedule? Why wasn’t I notified in writing of the changes to my account? Why are the presenters not advising the customers that they’re not allowed part payments If they are currently paying off 10 or more orders?? I would have purchased a lot more hesitantly if I had been advised of this. Usually, rude and arrogant staff are a clear sign that staff are very unhappy themselves. I have been in the service industry for 33 years and FYI, staff attitude towards customers is a very telling sign about how happy they are in their working environment. TVSN is definitely not what it used to be in both Customer Care and the decline in quality of workmanship of their jewellery. I don’t expect to be treated like filthy mud on the bottom of TVSN’s shoe after the thousands upon thousands of dollars I have spent with them.

On 25/11/20 my mother ordered, as a surprise for me, the 0.15ct Pink & White Diamond 9ct White Gold Swiss Set Heart Pendant 50sm necklace because of our family's long connection with Rio Tinto. It took Mum six months to pay it off and then she posted it to me, because as she says 'you don't send a gift before you pay for it'. My mother is a Blind Pensioner from a remote mining town in WA. I live in Victoria. As she listened to the lengthy advertisement on tv, it described the pink diamonds as rare and that the mine was closing soon, never to re...open. Mum received the necklace soon after paying the first instalment, apparently thereby commencing TVSN's 30 day return period. Mum sent it to me in its original packaging, with all of the paperwork (tax invoice/receipt and certificate of authenticity) so that I could insure it. I received the necklace from my mother not long after she'd paid the final instalment. She'd paid in total $1427.05 out of her pension over the six months. On opening Mum's gift, in it's complete original packaging, including the postpack bag and the invoice, I was horrified to see what mum had purchased and how much she'd paid for it. The necklace was obviously a very cheaply made piece of jewelry. A molded setting with an extremely fine chain. The 'pink' diamonds were barely distinguishable in colour from the 'white diamonds', they were so pale. I touched the chain and the pendant, while still in its packaging to examine the piece, pretty shocked by how flimsy and cheap it looked for the $1400 mum had paid for it. I hold Power of Attorney for mum and so rang TVSN immediately to complain. It was 21 May 2021 and I spoke to '[Name Removed]', who was very nice. I explained about the situation and that Mum, being a disabled Blind Pensioner, would never have ordered and paid off the piece had she been able to see it. [Name Removed] consulted a superior, came back to the phone and said that this sort of situation was common amongst their demographic of customer (!) and that even though the 30 days had lapsed, the usual allowable timeframe to return anything, to return the piece in its original packaging, their jewellers would examine it to make sure it hadn't been worn and then they would provide a full refund. [Name Removed] warned that it may take 30 days to process. I sent the necklace back and heard no more about the refund. I therefore rang TVSN again on 23/6/21 at 3.43pm and spoke to a '[Name Removed]'. I explained the situation so far and he looked up the order/invoice number. [Name Removed] said the according to their jewellers, the necklace had been worn, there were no tags, it was outside of the 30 days and therefore there would be no refund and that the necklace had been mailed back to mum on 11/6/21. I advised [Name Removed] that the necklace had not been worn and that the tags had not been removed! I questioned [Name Removed] further about the necklace, he advised that it was made in India. I also asked him how their jewellers examined items to see whether they'd been worn, he advised that he didn't know. I told him that I was disgusted that TVSN would exploit an elderly Blind Pensioner and would be taking the matter further. Approximately a week after this call, Mum rang me tell me about what had happened that day regarding the necklace. A friend of Mum's had found a plastic postpack in the middle of the street outside of her house, at nightime and it had been run over. The packaging was torn and had tears in it. When Mum was taken to the Post Office in town the next day and reported what had happened, they looked in their book and advised that TVSN had not instructed them to bring it back to the Post Office if Mum was not home. That has been Mum's standing instruction to TVSN, often repeated as she is a long term and regular customer. This is due to thieves in the area. Mum opening the package along with her carer who was there that day and noticed that the elastic holding the necklace had been cut. It appeared as if it had just been bundled back together and posted back to mum without care. Mum then rang TVSN several times and was met with uncaring and disinterested responses. She never received any return phone calls from a superior as requested. She then received a TVSN marketing email (read to her by her visiting home help carer) addressing her as 'Beloved Customer' which she found to be ironic given what has transpired! Mum says that what she hates is the lying and the disinterest by TVSN as soon as they have your money. She says that they only love you when you're buying.

Unfair treatment by tvsn
I had been told by my friends to sign up online for tvsn that they was a good online shopping site so signed up online made a purchase then rang up tvsn to find out why my first payment did not come out only to be told I need to supply a lease agreement rates utility bill which I don't have as I live with my grandmother no one else I have spoken has had to provide any of these doccumts just to purchase on the site I tried to purchase a Dyson vacuum cleaner on installments don't feel I should have to provide all these doccumts just to purchase a...n item no one else I know had to very rude customer service to don't think I will bother with tvsn if that's the attitude I get just trying to purchase online was going to purchase there 75inch tv on installments but all the doccumts they require which I don't have not worth it
Terrible Customer Service - Lack of communication - with UPDATE
I recently went to purchase several items from the TVSN website, only to discover, when I pressed the 'CHECKOUT' button, that my account was "unable to checkout". I have only ever purchased a few items from TVSN years ago and paid for the items in full on my credit card at the time, and had the items delivered without issue, so I'm not sure why my account was unable to checkout. Anyway I went to the TVSN website "Help Centre & FAQ", but it shed no light on what was preventing me from checking out.
I decided to ring TVSN "customer service" to ...ask what the problem was. Their response was that my account was put on hold and that they would get someone from the Accounts Department to contact me within approximately 2 business days about the issue... It never happened - no email or call back. (By the way, at no stage had I received any notification that my TVSN account was put on hold in the first place). Several days after I hadn't heard back from TVSN, I phoned their "customer service" phone number again to say that I hadn't heard from the Accounts Department or Customer Service Department about the problem. This time I was asked to provide TVSN the following documents: 1. Utility bill - proof of address 2. NSW drivers licence; and 3. Passport
Postage is way too expensive
Firstly I would like to say that when TVSN is on sale, the reduced prices are great on most items. Here comes the BUT....how can postage be so expensive??? On some items, customers are paying more for postage then the actual cost of the item???
I am a Platinum For Life customer, but baulk at paying outrageous postage costs, even at the slightly reduced rate.

Been A Long Time Customer
As stated I have been a long time (over 20 yrs ) customer of TVSN and have purchased quite a lot from them. I have noticed a decline in customer care and quality over the years. One of my latest orders was not delivered to me. I received notification that the parcel was coming and because I knew we would be home I authorised for Auspost to leave without signature. I saw the van pull up across the road and thought it was odd, but waited for the driver to ring the bell or call out. Nothing. Then the van was gone. I thought maybe it wasn’t my de...livery. Then 1 min later I get a message from Auspost telling me my parcel had been delivered. Not to me it wasn’t! My husband and I both checked everywhere outside and even in the neighbours yard where I saw the van pull up, she wasn’t home, but we found nothing. So I rang Auspost immediately. They said they would look into it, but for me to contact TVSN and tell them, as it really needed to come from them to start an investigation. I did ring TVSN only to be told that because I had authorised it to be delivered without signing it was now MY problem alone, they waived all their customer service rights! Good on you TVSN. I had to follow up with a few phone calls to Auspost, the parcel never was found, but Auspost refunded the cost. I feel this was a case of BOTH companies passing the buck!! I’m quite disappointed in TVSN.
Very slow to refund, and postage is not as stated on the website
Firstly let me start by saying how long it takes to receive a refund. To start off with I used to express post my returns thinking I would receive a refund within a week - but no even if you do express post then they still wait until the postage box bins are full before they even pick them up - this can take a few weeks depending on how many returns they receive. Once they do receive the return, it then takes another 7-21 days to refund! Ive had instances where I returned the next day but then was charged my next installment as it took TVSN ...so long to refund. My next gripe - Postage - according to the website, Im a Platinum for Life Member, yes spend quote alot with this organisation and as per their online guidelines PLM members pay $4.25 per item if ordering more than 2 items. Well I purchased 2 bracelets yesterday, looked at my checkout it read $4.25 each line item but then as I checked out and opted for the 2 instalments rather than paying in full, I then paid $7.90 per item. Where is this written on the website - no where, its misleading. The fact that I paid $16 for 2 lightweight bracelets weighing no more than 500g and will be posted together anyway, I honestly cannot fathom. Im seriously considering my future with this site, they state so many things about products that are not true and when I receive the item, I then need to pay return postage. If they were upfront and honest in the first place, I probably wouldnt have purchased and therefore no need to pay all this return postage and excessive postage because ive ordered more than 2 items but chose the payment option instead of paying in full. Very deceiving and website needs to be updated urgently as it is MISLEADING!
I absolutely love watching Lee Bradley on TVSN with the Charlie Bears! I also love all the ladies though, I love having it on in the background when I’m home alone. I’m 35 years old and totally hooked on TVSN!

i bought the Bissell proheat 2x revolution from tvsn , while i thought i was getting a bargain found out later could have purchased product local for same price, delivery was excellent though and ease of the whole deal was good , product performs better than i ever expected , very pleased would definitely use tvsn again , but would check local prices first

Sick of paying for items they do not have in stock, now still waiting for items to be despatched that were paid for 17/3/21, still cannot get a straight answer, customer service really need to read emails and the information they give instead of skimming over them and giving inaccurate reply
Returns on clothing
I returned an item of clothing. There is no chance when purchasing clothing online to know if the size will fit or look. I have since return this and have been informed by customer service they will not refund return postage for change of mind purchase.

Ordered Aussie Wool Comfort Bedding set but had change of mind and cancelled. Got confirmation that order was cancelled from TVSN. Surprised that item was delivered and left at my door. Contacted TVSN to inform them, got told as it was a couriered item (even tho' delivered by Aus Post) a courier company would be in touch to arrange for pick up. Nothing for over 3 weeks so contacted TVSN again, I then received email from Aussie Wool Comfort direct who send me a return label, I returned the item direct to them the next day and informed the co...mpany. Got return received emailed who told me TVSN were informed. I am still getting part payments taken from my account, I called TVSN and got a woman who was not interested and all she could say "when we get the return we will refund", even tho' I had explained all of the above. I got so frustrated and did raise my voice as I was getting no-where. I have been emailing TVSN almost daily and have asked for a manager to contact me, I have got NO response whatsoever, I am a Platinum for life customer and have spent thousands with this company....no more, I am returning all recent items and cancelling my account. I am extremely upset, angry and appalled by TVSN and their lack of support and customer service.

I am a platinum member and have been shopping with TVSN for approximately seven years. I can honestly say I have had nothing but amazing customer service, fabulous products (especially love the clothing and jewelry) at what I think are great prices.
I have had to return items, due to wrong sizing or I just didn't like the item on myself....I just called customer service, let them know I'm returning the item....no problem!
