Good service but too slow
Punctual at the start of the day but boy the two men were so slow. I was leaving a 2 bed apartment and moving 5 kms, took the whole day from 0730-1630. Literally the guys would bring one lamp in at a time.
Cost me a lot more than I was anticipating and could see the men on their phones etc. Bit disappointing overall.
Not bad, but could be better.
Team of Michel, Gabriel and Junior arrived at exactly the time they texted me. Truck sent was too small, possibly misunderstanding. However I had to repeatedly emphasize taking the large items, because I couldn't afford for two loads. Travelling only 80 km/h on a 100km/h motorway .... I was right behind the whole way. On more than 1 occasion I asked myself whether I had been sold a pup choosing to pay extra for 3 men. Often 1 was on the phone, or taking downtime.
Not the service I was expecting
I have used TMAAT on two other occasions and found their service impeccable unfortunately on this occasion I didn’t receive the service I was used to. Whilst [Names Removed] were polite they were very slow and seemed inexperienced. Having not a full house to move the move took most of the day which of course became quite costly to me in the long run. Sorry TMAAT you didn’t get it right this time. :(

Try and do without
Stressful move from 2bed to studio.
During phone booking I was told they would be able to dispose of some items at a tip 10 minutes away, which turned out not to be true. This was key to my booking because I didn’t want to sign a blank cheque.
Driver failed to give the half hour notice I’d been promised on the phone and just said “I’m outside your block.” I was 20 minutes away.
They sent an invoice after the job was done, then later “updated” it with spurious charges. The 10 minute tip trip turned into a different tip supposedly 45 minutes away...
Read the fine print
Read reviews of this company and they were mainly favourable - some glowing. My two guys were pleasant, slow, and were learning English with varying degrees of comprehension - couldn't figure out how to angle things down stairs - took one box each at a time rather than use a trolley so the move took forever. I left after them to go to the new address and they arrived 45 minutes after me despite telling them the fastest way to go. One box at a time came in again - no stairs this time - it was like watching grass grow. Then I get slugged a $10...0 call out fee on top of the hourly rates for going to and from the depot. This wasn't mentioned in any of my verbal conversations nor was it mentioned that the insurance cover is extra. My television stand should have been removed and transported separately but it wasn't and now it's broken. Their website gives you the impression insurance is included - but no. Oh and if you do get insurance, be aware that you have to get in touch 72 hours after you move or it's void. So empty all the crappy boxes they give you as part of their moving package - that's a joke too. 2 rolls of tape and 20 very used boxes for $110. Buy them at Officeworks for a third of the price. They haven't come to collect boxes despite agreeing to a time and date. Not again Two Men - you're too slow and you charge way too much for the level of competence of your staff.
