Save yourself the time & effort. Don't use Ublinds
This really has been a comedy of errors, but I'm not laughing.
We ordered a full house of blinds for our brand new house in November 2020.
It's December 2021 and we still haven't received our full order.
It took 5 months for the first lot of blinds to arrive.
Turns out the salesman/quoter didn't measure the window frames properly. This meant the installer had to butcher the frames to make them fit (see picutre).
Don’t be fooled by the salesman
The salesman is prompt and informative. That’s where my positive review finishes. I will never use UBlinds again because of:
1. Delays in original installation 2. Further delay occasioned by new outdoor blind ordered because original blind doesn’t fit 3. Indoor roller blinds don’t roll up straight after a few weeks 4. Re-adjustment doesn’t correct blind rolling up straight and damage occurs to blind 5. Warranty to repair and readjust again not honoured when damage to blind occurs from blind not rolling up straight. Granted this was when we had...
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
After submitting my deposit which company was quiet happy to take my money then all went downhill I had seven cancellations of doing the final measurement which I had at times taken leave from work also was asked to photograph doors so they could see what way they opened I was hesitant to continue with company I left a message that I was wanting to cancel as did not feel comfortable with service no one got back to me so I called again to be advised that they had put my order in and it was to late to cancel but everything would be fine. The shut...ters arrived with the installer 11 weeks later not 6 he installed them AND ALL windows and doors had been measured incorrectly they had a gap all the way around the installer called the office to confirm and to see what could be done I must say the installer was amazing the only truly honest and helpful person in company that I have found. After 4 wks of me not the office calling to get this rectified someone finally came out to check them just to tell us what already new so have now wasted all this time still no call of apology from company so with still no time frame on or how this was going to be rectified and AGAIN my self having to make calls which are now starting to be very stressed finally I received a text message not even the effort of a personal phone call to let me know that the frames will be replaced but no date just sometime next year. There has been no offer of compensation for the stress this has caused and the amt of time taken off work with the 7 cancelled measures and the install they had done. FAIR TRADING here we come.
Disappointing admin service
Very dissatisfied with after sales service . Adim calls were very rude and totally ill informed with my general blinds problems
Disappointed in the service. Sunny Coast . Miraculously when we chased up our blinds, both times where told,.... arrhh they just arrived ... LOL Mucked up times for delivery .I would never book a delivery time that neither of us were home. but apparently I did. I queried it and was met with aggression and complete lack of customer service or understanding Sales and fitters were good, Service terrible. I will never recommend them
Longevity of steel product
Ublind by the sea! Suspect the quality of the steel might be suspect. Blind out of warranty but installer was informed

Untrustworthy operator and unsafe installation - BEWARE!
Purchased two outdoor motorized blinds with a 50% deposit. Delivery and installation ran very late but this was not a concern.
When installation took place there was multiple issues:
1. One of the blinds was not functional
2. Flashing to outside was not complete
3. Cover fell off during operation, could have killed a child if under it - EXTREMELY DANGEROUS...
The next liquidation
Contacted this company in November 2020.. took my deposit did not get my blinds until late January of this year. they have forever been broken and not installed properly.. from the management to the owners to the installers including the state manager are all disgusting to deal with.
Misleading and quiet Diseptive.
We now are heading to court as they are refussing to attend for the 7th time in less than seven months
A disgusting culture that shortly can't last. Your company, your people and you are all predictable.
Don’t waste your time
We ordered the screens for one of our building projects on 15 April. We were given the lead time 6 to 8 weeks. We phoned them 4 weeks later in mid May to ascertain an eta. There was no order. They had lost it. 12 weeks later and we still have no screens. The job is complete all bar the screens and we are being charged penalty rates for non completion. UBlinds refuse to reimburse us for their stuff up. Why should we be out of pocket? I dread to think of what we will end up with. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere
Bought new blinds before selling my house. The new owners told me the blinds weren't working. Ublinds told me that the warranty was void because I no longer owned the house. Ridiculous

Be afraid people and stay clear of U-Blinds. If you want quality, value for money, good customer service and a stress free experience DO NOT call U-Blinds.
After placing our order (178993) on 26 March 21, We are still awaiting the installation of our Shutters. They have been paid for in full for some months now (over $5k) and have even been partially installed on the 21 May but we have 3 shutters still in boxes left untouched in our garage , 1 Still Undelivered and 7 with fitting incomplete.
Not to mention that those partially installed do not...
Still waiting after 4 months
Awfulness doesn’t describe this experience we have had. Still waiting for blinds, was told made locally but made in China. Security screens are the worst I’ve ever seen. Service is terrible. Avoid at all cost

This is the worst company experience and I would never use or recommend this company to anyone.
We received an extremely poor quality product and service from this company. I haven't seen incompetence at this level for a very long time. The director of the company was incredibly rude and arrogant to deal with which makes sense given how poorly these guys have managed things with us. Simply disgraceful.
Months of delays and cancelled appointments. They organised times to be on site and missed them leaving other 3rd party companies...disappointed on multiple occasions. They have wasted days of our time and caused significant stress and still haven't installed the system correctly with the motor now on the wrong side despite being advised by the electrician. Embarrassing. Should never have recommended an awning in such a dangerous and windy location just to get the work only to then tell us it's not a suitable location after installing it.
Absolutely Terrible Experience
Can't recommend enough that you stay clear of this company. All you need to do is review their google reviews. It says it all.
Extremely poor service
In 15 years of doing home renovations I have never come across a more incompetent company & contractors, at no single stage in dealing with these people was there any level of professionalism or service provided. We now have all our blinds finally fitted after 3 attempts & I am currently going back & patching all the drill holes left behind by the installer-no wonder they require full payment prior to installation!
Only wish I had read the reviews first before dealing with this company-if I could given them a negative 5 stars I would!

Shutters ordered & 50% deposit paid on March 18, 2020 for our apartment on Chevron Island. Rep Kerry Knight said Shutters were in stock but in containers & expected installation in 6-8 weeks. 4 weeks already gone bye & we have been unable to contact anyone to get an update. Please respond
