Delivery Policy is Ridiculous
To save my son taking time off work for delivery I drove in from the country to be onsite so Kitchen could be delivered. I was there by myself and shocked to then have kitchen dropped in the driveway. Delivery people informed me the company does not allow them to place kitchen components in the house. I personally believe this to be disgusting customer service. I guess I was lucky it was not raining on the day as the quality of this product would have blown up like a box of wet Wheat Bix. Not the freight companies fault. They can only follow Policy. Be warned. You too could be left with a whole kitchen just put out on the drive.
Great, until they take your payment
We completely overhauled our kitchen. We visited the Lonsdale showroom on 3 separate occasions plus numerous phone calls and emails to make sure we were happy with the final design, our salesperson was very impressive! After we paid the account and took delivery, we noticed there were no handles, push to open hardware and the kick boards were the wrong colour. Our salesperson didn't want to know, even blaming us for not ordering correctly. Suddenly they couldn't call or email us back and were completely stand offish when we would go to the show...room to pick up the correct items (after forking out more money of course!) While I can't fault their product, we absolutely love everything about it, I can certainly fault their after sales attitudes...very poor!
Happy with the product but the customer service was poor
Had to go to Lonsdale twice as I was not given the correct screws. The Carpenter I hired had to improvise the installation. When I complained at Lonsdale I was treated as though I was an inconvenience it was the "i don't care attitude" I found very upsetting. The bathroom cabinet is great, the customer service by the woman at Lonsdale very poor. I dealt with 4 people 3 were fantastic.
Falling apart from the second we recieved it.
First off we had wrong cupboards made so that was hard for the installer to put the kitchen in, the end strip of the counter was missing, it had marks on it and one door was damaged. After a month of having it put in, the doors are peeling away, one of the rails broke and the draw wouldn't push in. I emailed rang etc and had really poor response, I had to go through 3 people before someone did something then I still had on going issues that now no one will return my emails. Thank god my installer go pro kitchens is a miracle worker and fixed everything for me. There is no way in hell I would want anyone to risk Thier money on these kitchens.
Payed for kitchen and bench top! They got told they couldn’t do it got it re quoted with stone and agreed then told they made a mistake as was gonna be more!! When finally did arrive missing kickboard hardware and handles.
End up buying own hardware as they take a week to get back to you. Horrible service will never recommend.
Cannot believe how totally incompetent this company is. Ordered a kitchen for my mother. They got measurements for overhead and under bench cabinets wrong. Took another week to make these up and when they were delivered they were wrong AGAIN. We had to pay the installer double for his time, the plumber additional costs for coming and having to leave and return. U-Install IT were totall unsympathetic to the fact that an 82 year old pensioner was without a kitchen for over 2 weeks and also had to pay additional costs due to their stuff up. ...Basically they said too bad we're allowed to make errors under our T&Cs and if you have to pay extra it's your problem. DO NOT TRUST them to do a good job or compensate you if they mess up. They simply DON'T CARE
Thankyou U Install it Kilburn. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable you would bring our vision to fruition. Service was next to none. When we had any question they were answered quickly. The kitchen went together seamlessly. People said to me that We would be waiting weeks for our stone benches. No they told us within 2 weeks of us letting them know We were ready. And they were. We had a small problem with soft close showing through our glass windows a phone call and This was fixed promptly. We are so happy with our kitchen. Thankyou. We have a few more projects to do and we will definitely be using you again.

U Install it - but you're on your own!
Did a design with the In Install it consultant to change a kitchen layout in an existing island bench. After paying and waiting the required 3 weeks I collected the items I ordered. Once I had gutted the existing kitchen I then went about installing the new cupboard doors and drawer unit only to find that the brackets to fit the drawer facia's to the drawer units were missing. Not only that but none of the holes for the brackets had been drilled! Checked their website and there were no data sheets or instructions for that particular (touch to o...pen) drawer unit. After a call to them they ordered the brackets and I had to wait 3 to 4 days for them to come in. I also discussed getting some sort of tech data on the drawer unit as there was no installation / assembly instructions provided. Their response was "we don't have any for that unit". I then asked why the holes hadn't been drilled and if I could take the facia's back to get drilled. The response was "I doubt it but I'll check" to which I still haven't had a response!! On top of that in the new three drawer unit that were all supposed to be "touch to open" two of the three are. The other is a soft close??? I'll live with it. They are too hard to deal with.

My very own kitchen nightmare
Attended the showroom with my partner and paid the deposit on a fairly simple kitchen layout based around an island bench with no wall cabinets. On the second visit I reviewed the layout with the consultant and was disturbed to learn there were changes, most notable of which was the complete removal of a row of cupboards on one side of the island bench to create a breakfast bar.
Perhaps this is because U-Install It don’t use any PC’s to visualize the kitchen, they draw on graph paper. This is so they can “pass the savings on to the custome...
