Wish I had read the reviews before using this disgraceful company!
Used this company last week for an end of lease clean. Was booked for Tuesday - full clean, carpets and pest spray. The cleaner arrived on the Tuesday and was at the property for approximately 4 hours. Our property manager was not impressed with the clean of the house and the carpets weren’t touched at all. ings need to be contracted out. Not sure that this term fits with Airtasker. The cleaner showed me the advertisement from Airtasker and to be honest that’s why the jobs are not passed. They aren’t professionals. They also like to cease communication for a while which means how are you going to get the property report and re clean completed when they won’t respond to emails! Red flags include: No phone number for contact Paying upfront Airtasker Ultra clean did finally refund the carpet clean and we found a local reputable cleaner to come and reckless their abismal cleaning services which we paid for again. Absolutely terrible!
Booked a end of lease clean, carpet clean and pest spray.
Carpet and pest spray DID NOT happen! (I did get a refund on carpets but won’t refund pest)
Clean was terrible, booked in for the Tuesday. Had a no show. Contacted them stating no one showed up. They then booked it for the Wednesday. Again another no show!

Don't do it to yourself
Booked an end of bond clean in for a certain date, sent multiple emails to try and get a specific time that they would arrive as I had an inspection the same day. They not reply to emails sent days prior then got a text an hour before they were scheduled to arrive - they never showed up. I emailed asking where the cleaner was and was told they had arrived an hour ago.
Honestly the worst experience and hope no one else ever has to deal with it. They did not show up at all and refused to give me my deposit back.

Absolute joke of a company. Terrible job.
I wish I read these reviews before booking with this company. SO many regrets.
We scheduled with this company for an end of lease clean last Thursday. My partner rocked up to the property to make sure someone had turned up, and they had not. It was around midday. I emailed them and asked what time they would be arriving, and said 2:15pm, so I didn’t bother going back and checking.

cleaned, the simplest tasks such as dusting and tops of the cupboards was not done. Even the skirting boards, light switches and windowsills were not done. I was horrified to show what had been done to the real estate but had no time to go over the place myself, so had to hand in the keys in a terrible state, and requested my property manager to send through the outgoing report ASAP. As I expected, a couple of days later many, many cleaning requests were highlighted during the outgoing report. The property manager had requested another set of cleaners to come to the property and do another clean because it was at an unsatisfactory standard, which wasn’t surprising. I sent through this report straight away to ultra clean as they said they would do a re-clean free of charge. However they could not sort out a time suitable for us, and I told them they had to come before a specific day. They ignored that completely and after a delayed response, said they could come two days after, which of course, was too late. Because of their unsatisfactory clean I asked for a full refund, which of course they are not willing to do. They kept saying “there is nothing we can do.” Communication with Ultra Clean is horrible too - only via email. I am definitely taking this up with Fair Trading NSW and will update on the matter. Please, do not make the same mistake that I did. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Over $500 wasted, and now will have to pay for the second cleaner to fix up Ultra Clean’s mistakes. Do not use this company in Darwin NT
Paid for a bond clean and pest control. Bathroom wasn't touched, none of the sinks cleaned, none of the walls cleaned and an item was missing after the clean was done. Do not recommend. Will not use again. Lost my whole bond after already being out of pocket paying these people for a terrible job. Do not use this company. They won't respond to you or your real estate.

Unprofessional, Pathetic, Worst Ever - Steer Clear
The worst experience of "professional cleaners" i have EVER encountered.
Had to pay upfront, after numerous emails, cleaners actually turned up 3 days after book in date. We left the house cleaner than they did. Cleaners gym pants were left on the stove, had 2 toddlers sitting eating Bananas and chocolate on the floor while cleaning. ALL window were left with smear marks you couldnt even see out the windows. No contact number to ring and complain, only point of contact was email, to which staff were extremely rude, big and tough over a keyboard. Pathetic service all round. Had to pay another cleaner to clean up THEIR mess.........
Took them to Dept of Fair Trading and they wont even respond to them.......
STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Worst service - stay away
Should have read the reviews. They have no phone number to contact. Fag butts left in the toilet, no carpet clean, no pest treatment, no clean to skirting boards, no tips of low cupboards, drawers not cleaned, garage not brushed, cigarette butts in the toilet, rubbish bags left on the floor, light switches caked in dust... All Ultraclean completed was: oven clean and outside of the dishwasher. DO NOT USE. Currently completing a complaint with Fair Trading. Surprisingly I am not the first .

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY
This company not only didn’t provide all the services we booked and paid for but their customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. The first team of cleaners that were booked didn’t show up. The second team they got in from airtasker last minute. We paid for carpets to be steam cleaned and when we provided evidence that they were not steam cleaned, they argued with us and refused to fix the issue or even refund us for a service they didn’t provide. Never showed up.
Contacted ultra clean two weeks prior to needing a clean. Everything organised and paid up front.
Was told the day Prior/on the day they will be coming in the afternoon. It wasn't until 1600 that I emailed Ultra Clean to be told they were coming in the evening. Would have been nice to have been told this. No window was provided.

To be fair, the initial contact between us I had discussed I would be at the apartment to meet the cleaners, but their T&C's state that cleaners will contact you an hour prior if this is the case, and I received nothing. Unfortunately for a service that has cleaners operating 24/7, the contact hours for Ultra Clean are not, and so after 1800 all communication ceased, and my apartment remains uncleaned. I know it remains uncleaned because I still have the keys to the apartment and was not contacted by anyone. The excuse being their cleaners were running late due to a dirty house prior to mine, however this should not affect other customers this severely. Did a bad job and refused refund...
The person who did the clean was rude and did a shocking job. And after contacting Ultra Clean for a refund they refused. They are very complicated to deal with. Cleaners are not experienced and they brought their kid. Don't waste your money - don't waste your time. STAY AWAY. You will not get a refund. Am currently speaking with the ACCC.

Dodgy operators
I paid for a Bond clean and Pest spray up front. The cleaners that did the job tried (husband and wife) but were not professionals and it was more of a general clean, I stayed back and spent two hours cleaning what they missed. I enquired about the pest spray and they told me it had been done. I advised that was impossible as the house was locked when I wasn’t there and nobody came when I was. They are charging for a service that is only provided after the fact if the real estate agent complains, but as they provide a receipt saying it is done most agents wouldn’t realise it wasn’t completed. A complete scam. I also found out from the cleaners that they were owed money and were only getting paid a fraction of what I paid the company for all their hard work. Poor communication and suspect business practices - do not use!
We booked a bond clean for our apartment in Darwin through Ultra Clean. The day before the clean I asked when the cleaners would arrive but [name removed] would not provide a time. On the day of the clean, [name removed] asked me by email when our rental inspection would occur the following day. I attempted to contact him by phone, googled Ultra Clean and was horrified to discover the reviews on this page.

ws, I scrambled to attempt to arrange other cleaners, clean the property myself and push back the vacation inspection. At 6pm I received a call from a contracted cleaner who said they would attend the property between midnight and 4am. I returned to the property this morning to find a husband and wife cleaning. They told me they had been there since 4:45am and left at 10am. To their credit (NOT to Ultra Clean), the property was cleaned to a very high standard. I suspect the reason Ultra Clean requires you to pay 100% upfront and has a confusing set of terms and conditions in favour of themselves (NB Ultra Clean, you can't contract your way out of Australian consumer law standards!) is because they contract out to individual cleaners all over the country, many of whom are likely working second or third jobs judging by the times of day/night the cleans are done. Based on the reviews here, the standard of service must often be poor, but they don't care about that once they have taken your money. I would never use Ultra Clean again due to the stress and frustration of the last 24 hours. Anyone seeking a bond cleaning service should look for a local provider (our mistake!), and your property manager/real estate agent may be able to recommend some in your area.Similar opinion? Terrible business
We run our law firm from home during covid and were moving house. We paid ultra clean $760 for a bond clean to occur on 04/08/20. Early on the 05/08/20 we received an email stating the job was too big and needed to finish being completed that day. We were concerned by the email because we had used general cleaners throughout our tenancy and it should have been a fairly easy job.

Ultimately one of their cleaners arrived at 11.10am on the 5th and stayed for 2.4 hours. The cleaning job was inline with a general clean, not a bond clean and the real estate has now had us pay their preferred cleaner to rectify the situation. We are a legal firm who specialises in litigation. Having read their responses to reviews on here we couldn’t be bothered arguing further with Ultra Clean and listening to their dishonest retorts. We will sue them for a refund and instigate action via fair trading to have their practices investigated. If Ultra Clean exists in the near future, our advice is do not use them.Similar opinion? Poor cleaning
This service does not even deserve a one star.
The cleaning was absolutely poor, spot marking had not been done on any of the walls, all aircon filters were dirty, cob webs in the corners of the ceiling. All it looked like they did was vacuum and mop! I had to get a second cleaner in to actually clean the property to get my bond back. Will never use again.

Fraudulent Do Not Use
I hired Ultra Clean to bond clean my property. I paid upfront, as full payment was required before they would do the clean. I bank transferred them $476. They were booked to clean of a Monday. them, advising they didn’t clean my property 2 days ago - yet have taken my money and told them to call me asap. They replied stating it had been cleaned, and when I replied furious that it hadn’t - they asked for photos as proof. I sent them photos of the dirty house, to which they replied stating it was ‘too dirty for the money’ and that the particular crew sent Monday didn’t want to do it - but they’d lined up another crew who would. The house was not bad, 3 bedrooms were unoccupied and the carpets had been cleaned already. There was some dust, and dirt - to be expected for a bond clean not just a general house clean. Anyway, I said no - I want a refund. She said she’d refund me later that day because she wasn’t in the office. 7pm - no refund, so i emailed them - no reply. Now its 9pm - no refund, so i emailed them - no reply. 7am next morning - no refund, so i emailed them - no reply. 11am now - i email, they finally reply saying it was done the night before by osko - but it wasn’t in my bank and they couldn’t give me a receipt. 11:50am I threaten legal action and 10 mins later I finally get my refund. Do not use them - they are based in melbourne and hire contractors to clean - they took my money, but did not clean my house and then lied about it and I had to ferociously chase up a refund - do not use.3 comments

The property had some dust, minimal marks on walls, the carpets were already carpet cleaned and ceiling fans already done. You took my money - did not provide a service as promised and didn’t even contact me to tell me you weren’t cleaning my house, I found out 2 days later on inspection and then it took me a lot of emails and hassling you for a refund. You are liars - in an email you told me my property was cleaned, it wasn’t.
