Would give 0 stars if I could. Where do I begin. 18 months ago ordered and build a $3600 pc and right off the bat just terrible experience. When my pc was finally ready to collect I got home to find the os was corrupted or installed incorrectly. So thats proof they didn't do any testing before handing it over to me. I had missing screws in usb ports so couldn't plug anything into them. So I took it home and fixed the os myself. 12 months later psu failed took back for warranty and they took 7 days and came back with missing feet which they still haven't replaced. 4 months into the new psu (even upgraded power) same fault so I told them to do testing on the entire pc and they have just left me in the dark dropped pc off on 29th December 2020 and haven't gotten an email or update other than they created a warranty for my graphics card ( no phonecall to say out of stock or other options) I've tried calling umart 3 times and all 3 times I've been told by their call centre they wil l contact the technician and get back to me when they hear but never do. They all apologise for matter but nobody ever seems to do any actions to actually get any information about my pc. All I can do is guess that they don't want to replace my gpu and are pushing for the manufacturer to repair it. I would avoid umart like the plague it seems they just don't give a s**t.. Terrible customer service
After spending thousands with a company you would expect some respect. Seeing the customer before me leave angry wasn't a good start. I know I am no where near spending the most with them, but to have someone on the counter tell me they're too busy to process my order and I would have to wait an hour and a half because they had a long weekend is terrible. And to make it worse to be faced with a staff member with no social or problem solving skills at all just makes the situation feel so much worse. rocessed told it would take 5 DAYS to receive my money back. I was spoken to like my business meant nothing. The only reason I used umart is because it was local. Fantastic customer service
My teenage boys have been building their first PC's and have bought most of their parts from umart, firstly because it's local pick up, secondly because it's competitive prices but mostly because of the advice and support the staff in store give.
They are always happy to go the extra mile. They have helped with everything from suggesting parts to match budget and requirements, advising of non compatible parts and suggesting changes, bios updates when we thought all was not working and just generally being helpful and supportive in this tech journey!

Received a defective monitor - went to repairs for 6 weeks - came back broken - sent for another repair - won't refund
Bought a 500 dollar monitor. It was defective, persistent slight issues and so I returned in 5 months.
Was told it would take a few weeks for repair.
I got it back after six and it was worse.
I brought it back and the guy literally tested it and said "yep that's busted" - still refused a refund.
I was told "we wouldn't be in business if we gave out refunds".

Nothing but great
I have always bought my products from Umart for nearly 20 years now and not once have I had any issues with them. They have always provide such great services that I have never thought once to reconsider others.

Appalling service, lies and manipulation.
I am disgusted and appalled with the level of lies and manipulation by this so called Business. They sold me parts to build a computer but not all parts where there even after asking them a number of times if I had everything. I also asked a number of times if this gaming computer will do what I want and work well, they said yes but after purchasing they emailed Umart.com.au and said below and I quote.

ot, slow to load certain programs, and they will not be able to have a lot of tabs open on their browser/programs open on their PC before they notice a performance dip) Complete and utter lies to get you in and take your hard earned money. They have lied their way through this whole matter. They said I could even bring everything back even said, with as much of the original packaging, as I did. But lied about that because when I returned it all, they refused to refund me. Instead the young and inexperienced lads behind the desk had a hissy fit and told me to leave the store. Absolutely disgusting Business practice. I have now reported this matter to a Lawyer and also reported them to QCAT and the Department of fair trading. I will use every social media outlet to make sure other people don't get ripped off by them and ask if anyone else has had similar issues to get in touch with me. I will do everything I can to make sure that they pay for ripping me off. Update. 23/11 Umart.com.au are still continuing to lie. I never threatened the staff, be very careful how you also word this as all comments are forwarded to my Lawyer. The staff where very rude to me, would not help me in any way, refused to give me a refund even though I have an email from Umart.com.au stating they would refund me on return of all the products including the packaging. I have done this. The staff had no knowledge about this computer or the components, they where quite blunt with me and I did call to short larger one a dwarf and they threatened me with police and then told me to get out. Get your facts right and correct, these conversations where recorded by me and are very true and correct. You need to stop your lying, you need to stop ripping off your customer's and stop with this utterly disturbing so called customer service as this is not the way to conduct yourself.Similar opinion? excellent service
very easy online to navigate to the store which was closest to where i live.
The range was extensive but with the stores assistance and online assistance i was able to purchase what i needed to upgrade my desktop.
i am very satisfied with the hardware i purchased to run Flight simulator 2020 at its highest level.

When I am in Brisbane, Umart is my 'go to' shop for computers and related electronics. I have been shopping at Umart for 20 years because they have an excellent range of quality items at often unbeatable prices.

Great service.
Whilst picking up a new monitor I also spoke with a staff member regarding an upcoming pc upgrade for myself. I had my ideas but after speaking with said staff member, I am now in a more informed position and will be placing an order in the near future.

Great customer service
Umart is great. We like having a physical store incase something should go wrong. Online ordering easy. Good pricing. Decent products. Knowledgeable staff and good customer service. Good on their warranty too

Great service
Spoke to Andrew about my new pc build and was super knowledgeable and helpful and went the extra mile to help me out. I messed up my order and was steered in the right direction on my new build, and the guys clearly explained it all to me. Very happy with Umart and will be back again. Cheers

Loved Umart for years
Always a pleasure shopping here. The people are always very polite and helpful, ordering and pickup are fast and stress-free, and the stuff I buy is always high quality and exactly what I want. Couldn't recommend enough!

Buyer beware !
A family member purchased a computer casing from the Maroochydore store. Upon opening the box it was found that the casing was not as big as first thought. Umart would not exchange the casing because the box had been opened ! There are no moving parts and the case has not been used in any way. Of course they then quote consumer law etc etc. Absolutely pathetic customer service and a few customers lost as a result. Buyer beware as once they have you're money they don't care.

Local Computer shop with excellent prices
Umart almost always have the best prices and a great range of stock. The Chermside store may not carry everything, but if you are not in a rush and can wait 1-2 days, they bring the stock across from Milton. The new website and ordering is a breeze. Collection service is always prompt with minimal queuing. Have had no trouble with past warranty claims but you need to know what you are doing.

Multi items purchased for computer build
Website is easy to search and navigate. Prices are always excellent. Items were available for pickup quickly, a day or two after ordering - depending on stock. Location is very convenient for south-siders.

Approachable and Helpful Store Attendant
Recently, I have had my first experience with Umart Online shopping. It was easy to navigate, and did not take long to find what I was looking for. Pricing was also competitive. In addition, the attendant at the Maroochydore pick-up depot was very approachable and helpful. Finally, I will return for more shopping at Umart Online.
