Be careful when dealing with this company
I bought a 2005 Delica from Unibee 2 years ago and have been happy with the vehicle. However due to covid i didn't do much travelling. After about 18 months the brand new roof rack supplied and installed by Unibee started to creek so naturally i thought it just needed a general tighten up. To my alarm and disgust when i went to tighten up the brackets i found they had bodged up the fitting by drilling new holes. In most cases the holes were half moons or at best held on by 1mm of metal which had snapped.
This meant the roof rack could have flo...wn off the car any time resulting in injury or death. I have emailed Unibee 3 times and asked for a response....non has been forth coming. If purchasing from them be very vigilant and do not trust the owner as i think he is dodgy. I has an extension welded onto each bracket (as should have been done in the first instance by Unibee) at a cost of $250). I would have thought it decent of them to offer half at least by as i say no response recieved. Be wary dealing with them.
Purchased in for $20,000.
