My elderly mother needed something like this but did not need monitoring so Uniden phone and pendant was ideal. It works well and should be noted that its method of detecting a real person rather than an answering message is because the respondent has to hit the # key to validate a real response.
simple to setup and use
packaging is misleading. You need to buy the version with the pendant inside - not the version that offers pendant as optional extra. Took me 3 trips to get it right because the box belies what is inside.
