Works beautifully, sophisticated, but simple to set up, rugged and portable. Looks great. All accessories are good quality, though the standard foot pedal could use a design upgrade.
It has nifty brass click-connections for argon supply, meaning it can be disconnected and moved in seconds. This should be a selling point but wasn't advertised for some reason.

Have been welding for over 50 years now as a backyarder only. In saying that I have managed some big projects in steel and DC MIG alloy.
Never used TIG, as being an old dog I felt as though it was too hard to learn new tricks. Bloody hell, was I wrong.
This welder makes my previous DC MIG alloy projects look like crap.
Was a bit overwhelmed at the start with the setting line up but that was soon overcome by downloading the ultimate welding guide.
Only bought the welder 2 days ago but have it just about mastered
Only negative I have is the size of the lettering on the settings. I supposed being half blind doesn't help. (Old timer syndrome I guess).
Anyway, totally love it

Heard great thing about this welder and watched countless reviews and demonstrations, for many years struggling with a Mig where the Razor should have been used, the learning curve begins.

Being a Welder naturally makes me a harsh critic...so far I am very impressed with the high quality and presentation of this product by the manufacturer. Ease of control and arc stability is better than I expected.
I would highly recommend this product !!!!

Had MMA and MIG welders already, wanted an HF start TIG for thin metals plus aluminium. Easy to set up after downloading Unimig's welding manual that includes setup tables for different welds and metals.

Great Machine. Makes welding Alloy a breeze.
This is my first time welding alum. After the usual trial and errors I have master the machine and starting to produce nice quality welds. There are only 2 things that irritate me. The size of the front display; just to small and they should also include different settings to go with the machine for different materials just like I have on my Mig welder on the inside of the side cover, which I find extremely useful. Other than that, Yes I'm happy with the machine.

Thanks for the feedback, Ivan. In terms of a settings guide, we do have recommended TIG settings available in our Ultimate Welding Guide, Pages 34-39: https://unimig.com.au/the-ultimate-welding-guide/
Thanks for that I have already ordered one of those booklets.

Brought this for thin wall alloy pipe repairs on air conditioner systems. Was welding up pipes like a pro within an hour of setting it up. Haven't used a TIG for 15 years. Great tutorial videos off unimig youtube channel too. Great Australian company producing awsome products. Thanks.

I'm a fitter that purchased my welder since I've been working alongside sheeties and boilermakers for a few months now. With a few minutes to get my head around the new gun and gas collet setup, I was on my way. Everything Unimig just feels like quality. Next purchase, MIG welder.
