Hopeless service- books and refunds can take months

would not recommend at all, books can take months to arrive, some never arrive at all and refunds can take months or never at all..

The co-op is absolutely hopeless! Ordered Microsoft office for my Mac. One week later no email to say shipped and no package. Sent an email to say that they will check on it and that it will be on it’s was soon. Turns out it was never in stock. 3 weeks later, we are still waiting for the refund, after numerous phone calls and emails, we are still trying to get our refund back. Quite happy to take your money but not so happy to give the money back even tho the product was not in stock! Would not recommend to anyone!

Do not ever buy from this place

The Co-op is 100% hopeless and I do not recommend buying your uni books with them. I put in an order received one book 3 weeks later one book 5 weeks later and one never came at all, when enquired I was told even though it was listed as in stock they did not have it and did not know how long it would be until they could get it. I was offered a refund to which I agreed, it was from this point forward that they ignored my emails and refused to pay the refund until over 2 months later and a lot more emails and calls. The customer service was just horrendous, this whole thing left me without the books I needed form my course and was a giant waste of time. Utterly hopeless I am amazed that they are still somehow able to operate.

Half way through the semester and haven' received 1 out of the 3 books I ordered. Not to mention the other 2 text books arrived more than 3 weeks after I had ordered them.

Go Elsewhere

Ordered my two textbooks on the 2nd of January.
One arrived within the week - the other was sent to the wrong state. Spent 9 weeks contacting them with no effort from Co-op to keep me updated. Had to lodge several enquiries to find out what was happening. At the 9 week mark which was 4 weeks into my semester I gave up and asked for a refund.
It's now 3 weeks later and I still have no refund and no one is calling me or emailing me to give me updates.
When I spoke to customer service they have flat out lied to me by promising emails and callbacks that never happen.

You can find the textbooks elsewhere, don't bother with these guys.

Worse than Big Pharma

They rarely have what you actually need e.g. uni supplies like palm cards or the textbook required for your subject. When they do stock the textbook it is grossly overpriced. Lines are enormous whenever you need to go their (at the beginning of the semester). I am also incredibly morally opposed to the idea of having to pay to be a member of a loyalty program.

Its just the worst.

Ordered a university text, wit the coop stating it was in stock... two weeks later I still had not received it. I was told that someone would get back to me with an ETA - they didn't. I waited another week before asking for the order to be cancelled, and I sourced the book elsewhere as I needed it for my course. I never received a reply, and now 5 weeks later they shipped the text... and now i cannot contact them to return it for a refund..... I did not receive a tax invoice from them either - which makes it hard when you want to take it further. Furious is an understatement!!

poor service

After a month of my textbook not arriving, i received one text book and not the other. 0 responses from multiple emails sent. very poor communication on Co Ops behalf. I had assessment due that i needed these textbooks for. I will not be buying from Co Op again and i will not be recommending this site to anyone else.

Online order and collect in store was excellent

So for my university books this year I have decided to once again try to order online . I ordered online and selected click and collect. I was worried that the processing time would be over the one day as I have had a horrible experience with shipping (they didn't inform me the book was out of stock the minute I bought it and still charged me -- only returned the funds unwillingly when I asked for it). But the click and collect was great and saved time.

BAD Service and no response from Co-Op.

Placed an order for a text book on 22nd Feb, got online in chat room and held on for 2.5 hr;s, gave up. eventually got hold of a real person to talk to on toll free number with no expression of concern, apology or rectification of delayed delivery or non communication. Sent 2 e-mails requesting feedback on order status, no reply. Got commitment for urgent shipment from consultant. Order still shows pending on account and subject started 2 weeks ago. Not able to refer to text book because I still do not have one. Will not use this company again.

This textbook is easy to read and is a must for academic writing units. I will be using this text as a reference book while working on assessments. Definitely stays on my bookshelf!

Disappointing

I received an email 7 days after ordering saying that my order has been processed. I found no mention of this processing time when ordering and definitely would have bought through another company if I had know.

I finally got my membership no. attached to my online account and after 2 hours on a phone cue could not complete my order online. The crazy thing was they had the book I wanted in store but it was part of a "bundle" and would not sell it singularly. When I rang them to order it singularly they said they would have to order it from the publisher and would take 2- 3 weeks! They didn't seem to know what was on my (very popular) nursing curriculum. I don't know what there business plan is but it seems that management is on an extended junket in the Bahamas. 2 million members @ $25 a pop and they cannot get ordering user friendly! Jaw dropping

Obviously this was not a good experience but I wrote this review thinking it would make me feel better ... & I’m sure you can see that. ( trashing someone’s business online is not something I ever want to do again)
