Poor Customer Service
Furniture looks great but dealing with [Name Removed] at Urgan Rhythm is a process that requires much patience. Like what we bought - will not shop there again due to difficult people to deal with.
High quality and service
I had a very good experience in the Richmond store and am very satisfied with the customer service. The sales assistant was very helpful and gave advice when choosing the material and colors for the new couch. The quality of the product is very good and even though we chose among the cheapest fabrics, it looks very chic and modern. I am more than satisfied with the product, however I have to remove one star because of bad experience with the delivery services. The delivery scheduled without notifying me. I only found out the late afternoon that my product will be delivered next day morning.
Excellent service and products!
We were impressed by the lay out of the store in Richmond and how easy it was to view all furnishings etc. We saw what we wanted immediately and with the valued opinion and assistance of Rachelle ended up with a sofa, chairs and cushions. She was excellent in recommending the design and materials involved and we are now living with them. They are well built, upholstered and comfortable. We have returned and bought other items already.
Different customer experiences
What a great experience at the Nunawading store on Friday. The consultant was helpful but not intrusive and was very patient, showing us many potential options. We have requested a quote and we are keen to place an order. There was a buffet that we wished to see which was not on the floor at Nunawading so we drove to Richmond yesterday. The first consultant we saw was very pleasant and then left us to have a good look around which was great.
However, one of the pieces we would like to order is an extending dining table. We wanted to "test" ope...ning it and closing it again to make sure we could both manage it easily (we had been shown how to do this at Nunawading two days prior) and I have had similar extending tables in the past. Sadly, another consultant came over and made us feel like naughty children for touching the furniture without the consultant present! She kept an eye on us for the rest of our time in the store (which was cut short as I felt so uncomfortable). We are both professionals in our 60s; I'm a qualified interior designer. We really didn't appreciate her rather condescending tone. We are considering spending several thousand dollars with Urban Rhythm and we need to be really sure of our decision. We wanted to be given plenty of time to discuss the options together, on our own, and to ask questions of the consultant(s) when we were ready. Needless to say, should we decide proceed, we shall be ordering from Nunawading.
