My tank failed at the weekend and Alex from Ureco were able to book a new installation by Tuesday, which was amazing! The installation team were prompt, courteous and installed the new system without a hiccup. The old tank and rubbish was taken away as part of the service and the area left clean, great work guys!

Really helpful advice throughout the purchase process and then backed up by an efficient and friendly installation team. The installation team had to deal with a difficult two-story installation requiring a large crane. When one of the crane out-riggers was going to land on a plant, the guys carefully dug up the plant to be replaced when the crane was finished.
A pleasure to deal with
The quoting process and installation was quick and pain free. Their staff were all polite and helpful. The office/accounts guy made a mistake on the installation time and didnt seem to concerned about what i had previously arranged with the quotation team. Overall a great company to deal with

Do Not Pay Them A Cent Before You Check Their Works Thoroughly.
I used this company after reading the good reviews here so I think I should give my own review after dealing with them.
They are polite when they want your money and if there is no problem with their work. When there is problem, you will see how quickly their face changed.
They installed a solar hot water system on my house a couple of weeks ago. Immediately after the installation, I noticed one of roof tile is broken by them. As pouring rain was predicted that night so I quickly sealed the tile myself. I called and informed them. I sent them p...
Prompt and Efficient Service
I live in regional WA, and received a very favourable quote for supply and installation of a Midea heat pump hot water system. I had one of these installed at a previous address, and was very impressed with the electricity saving of the system. The installer arrived on time, had all the tools and equipment needed to install the HWS, and did a very neat and professional job. The old electric storage HWS was taken away and the job site left clean and tidy. I would recommend UrEco for anyone looking at installing an energy efficient HWS.
Best Deal in WA

Thank you so much for being able to fit and install the hot water system for our Mum, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with you and your team from start to finish, everyone was so professional, prompt and courteous throughout the whole process and the boys who did the install were super efficient with no fuss and no mess so many thanks to them also.
Rest assured I wont have any hesitation in the future calling you if I ever have need of any of your services.
Informative, Friendly and professional
On my initial enquiry I was provided with a detailed quote, with options and costs, giving me a comprehensive review of products that met my requirements.
Once my decision was made, the office staff were helpful with my final questions.
Installation was organised swiftly. I was impressed by the tradesmen on arrival, each one introducing themselves to me and told me what their role was.
The installation process ran smoothly and the area left tidy.

We bought a Reclaim Energy heat pump with an Apricus tank, from Ureco recently. The installers arrived on time and the installation process went very smoothly. They arranged the electrician which was convenient because they could all discuss the best location for the power source in relation to the position of the heat pump.
The operating manual is fairly straightforward in terms of selecting the times when we want the device to come on (during the day, to make maximum use of the solar power generated on our roof).
The heat pump works well....
UrEco Solar HWS
I recently purchased a roof-top UrEco solar HWS after our Solahart system literally rusted out just outside its 5-year warranty. The service from UrEco was light-years better than Solahart's - they attended within 2-hours of my phone call with a new replacement HWS, were efficient, tidy and effective with no need for call-backs to rectify problems. I have no hesitation in recommending UrEco for their high standard of service. The system has been working perfectly from day one.
Bosch 270litre Heat Pump
I bought my heat pump from Ureco in June 2017 and was very satisfied with the sales and installation by them. The unit has functioned well, mainly runs for free off my solar power, and saves me $100- $150 a month in gas bills. I would add a few words of caution to this glowing report. During two recent bouts of very hot weather, (40C+) when the unit was running in conjunction with a Legionnaires Cycle (65C so hotter than the normal cycle) it faulted. The faults were different each time (E10 and E04), but I understand both faults were related t...o heat censors. On the most recent visit the technician also replaced the heating element, which was badly affected by scale build-up, apparently due to hard water. My understanding was that tanks like this have a sacrificial anode to prevent these sort of problems, so I was surprised by how badly the element had been affected, as the unit is not yet 2 years old. Other negatives are a failure of the unit to alert (flashing light/sound) when it faulted, so I didn't discover the problems until the water ran cool. A fault message does flash on the menu display, but that is concealed behind a cover. This cover is also awkward to open/close, and the menu itself is not easy to use. If you buy the unit with the built in fan, be aware it can be noisy, though there is a menu option that reduces the noise levels. Having said all that, I would have no problems recommending Ureco, or the installation of a heat pump. The service technicians were great, though dealing with Bosch is awkward for West Australians with their service centre keeping Eastern Standard Time. I'm not sure I would go with a Bosch heat pump again or not, as faulting in hot temps is not an ideal feature for West Australians. Then again this could be a problem related to all heat pumps and I've only had 2 problems in nearly 2 years, apart from which the unit has performed exactly as I expected it to. The unit is sited on the South side of the house, so direct sun exposure is minimised. And just to put this in perspective - my solar power also conked out in the hot weather!!

Reasonable price and excellent service
UrEco was very helpful and professional. From the first phone call to the installation, it was a pleasant experience. Nice to deal with people who know their job and the product well. Contrast that to the SolaHart salesman who snorted and ridiculed us for not buying his product (which was almost $1000 more). He said "Well, I guess you can call me when it breaks!" I don't think so.
Questions & Answers
I'm looking at either a evo270 or a Steibel Eltron 302 heat pump and I'm not sure which is a better option. Does anyone have experience with or advice on either of these? Its for a family of 4 people.
Thanks in advance

Both will do a great job at saving you money. It really comes to your programming requirements, using a timer / how new your solar power inverter is if you have one. Best to call us on 6222 6676 and ask for me, Alex.
