This is gonna be good.
My Vegepod arrived today. Very fast delivery. Great courier service, no damage to any packaging.
Items immaculately packaged. Put it together myself, which is time consuming. Youtube assembly videos big help, funny too.I bought the large pod with stand. All items beautifully made, no parts missing, no alignment hassles. Looking forward to harvesting. Also bought 2 bags of Perlite.
Purchased in March 2022 for $776.
Just ordered my third
This has to be the best way to grow food. Nothing can stop you if you have a Vegepod. Literally kilograms of delicious fresh food. I just stand and graze in the garden. Low water consumption is an extra bonus. I’ll be saving for my fourth.
Purchased in January 2022 at Vegepods.
great to hear thanks helen

Very dissapointing
This is my third growing season with the large vegepod, and I am getting close to taking it down to the tip. Plastic parts in the lid grow brittle with sunlight, and had to be replaced. The winter cover also tore and I ended up throwing it away.
First year productivity was OK. Afterwards I was careful to follow instructions and restore soil etc., but I have seen big declines in productivity since. I suspect the the pod is optimized for dry, hot weather and simply does not cope worse in a moist temperate environment - or at least is a step dow...
Read moren from the simpler, cheaper, and robust alternatives. Worst of all, the plants in the pod seem more bug prone than those in the rest of my garden - I'm now resorting to sprays and the like which I'd rather avoid. I wish I saved my money for a solid raised bed with cover.Purchased in August 2019.
Hello and thanks for your review to enable us to respond and indeed educate all.
As you noted productivity was high in first year and then declined, then something is clearly going on and we'd love to...
Frame connectors poor quality
I have owned the Vegepod for approximately 3.5 years. Whilst the overall design is good the vegecover frame connectors are made of poor quality material and is NOT durable. They started cracking into the 2nd year of use and is now most connectors are no longer usuable requiring replacement. I had it in a partially shaded area. I would have expected better quality given it's price.
Purchased in June 2018.
Hi Paul, After 4 years some of the older models have been known to crack and they are easily replaced. We have increased the UV stabiliser and thickness of those parts too. Please contact info@vegepod.com.au
thanks

Vegepods are seriously the best
I've never been able to grow lettace, EVER. In July 2021 I planted seeds - Australian yellow leaf lettace, spinach - this is September 3rd 2021. We have gotten SO much from this small vegepod - and its crisp, fresh. I recommend cutting the lettace 1 cm from the cob/end and you get so much from it. I cut and it grows. I have now got the winter cover on and its thriving even more then before. I LOVE them so much.
Purchased in July 2021.
Problematic
On principle the vege pod looks great. Upon receiving the boxes. Put the frame together found the watering hose missing and the tubes were sent within days great! I say only to find the netting did not fit. Requested replacement which was received but attempts to stretch the cover as advertised in the video was hopeless as it’s application required the strength of superman to fit it in the frame. At this stage there is a gape on two sides.
Not sure how other people get it together.

Great customer service and great product
The Vegepod is everything that its suppliers claim, and my tomato plants love it. Nice quality product, and exceptional customer service. I had a small issue that was quickly resolved beyond my expectations - and that is a rarity these days. Keep it up Vegepod!

Veggie growing for the enthusiastic beginner
Ordered the large veggie pod cover and stand. Ordering was efficient, delivery was prompt and timed. Put the pod together today, please note our DIY skills are not the best. Pod was easy to assemble, all the parts are well made, fitted / connected well and were robust. Instructions were clear. Can’t wait to begin my veggie growing experience. Would recommend this product.

What Excellent Service
We have had our large Vegipod for about three years and love it. We had a minor problem that we discussed last week with the WA representative at the Perth Garden Show. The problem was remedied immediately and cheerfully. What great service - a pity other companies don't follow their example. We have now bought the small Vegipod for our herbs.
Purchased at Perth Garden Festival.
No Service or Communication
Vegepod is a great concept and product, however if there is no support from them. Its only when you do something wrong is when they communicate and never reply to any emails or phone calls. Their service surely does not stack up to the "50,000+ happy customers". I hope that if anyone is going to purchase one that they don't need any support because there is none to get!!!!
Sorry to hear this. It is extremely unusual.
Please email with reference to this review and our team shall escalate.

Faulty stand
Buyer beware! I purchased this after quite a bit of research. I thought I was buying a good product. When putting the stand together x2 of the bolts were faulty and needed retapping. One of the screws was also faulty. One of the cross bars was scratched and sticky. Customer service was average. I sent an email and had no reply so I phoned 2 days later when frustrated as some holes didn’t align (I had already sent the bolts off to be retapped) and the only solution offered was for me to pull it all apart and then they would replace it. I decline...
Read mored because it just meant more of a delay in planting out the seedlings I had and I had already invested in getting it fixed. They really need to sort out their quality control and customer service. Just look at the previous reply’s on here and that’s what you should expectPurchased in December 2020 for $609.
Hello Anonymous,
Sorry to hear of frustration with a couple of faulty parts. Certainly not the usual and we should have replaced post haste. Did you get sorted in the end? How has it been since?
thank
A great concept that delivers great veg.
I've had my pod for about four years now. It's a large pod with cover and on a stand. I highly recommend the stand!!!
If you put the mix of manure and potting mix, as described, you will not be disappointed with the results.
It took four years in the harsh Australian sun (mine is fully exposed to the elements) before the little plastic brackets on the cover finally cracked and broke. I'm glad the company sells replacements, but would you consider making them out of aluminum or something better than plastic?
The plastic replacements will do ...

was hoping for better veggies!
Set up my vegepod at my cabin in southwest British Columbia. Didn't need the irrigation line as we get lots!!! of rain.. Herbs grew really well but alas the slugs managed to find their way in and ate my cabbages which initially looked great. Tried some cherry tomatoes but the 2 plants outgrew the large size container.
Nest year will wrap some copper around the legs so the slugs won't climb up and in and will stick to small growing veggies and herbs.. Even though it wasn't a great success it was still fun trying

Read morers are all helping and sharing. A lovely mob and great resource. Thanks and welcome to the family!I cant find a way to prevent build-up of large mats of very fine roots, no matter what I have grown in the soil. This has never happened in my regular garden so I would love to know why it does in the pod and how to deal with that, apart from a huge amount of energy to pull it all out and separate the roots from the soil
Hi Proodle,
Not quite sure what you mean as a difference to any other garden bed. Hopefully i can help with a little advice. All plants will build up roots in the soil directly beneath them for genera...
